Lariat Review
Very positive - we continue to find new and additional ways to leverage the Lariat platform in our business. The Lariat team also has been great to work with in setup and ongoing support.
PROSLargely intuitive platform providing a wealth of insights and visibility into our dataset that we did not previously have.
CONSSetup took a bit of learning, though easy to understand with continued use.

Fantastic approach to monitoring data across
A unique solution that is difficult to find in the market. Saved our Tech org a lot of time and cost
PROS- Migrating to Lariat allowed us to sunset nearly all our ETL focused on building metrics. The entire migration only took half an hour. Now none of our engineers spend time building observability metrics on top of our core data flows (used to 10% of engineering time) - It was really easy to deploy within our system since it integrates with Athena and Snowflake seamlessly - Their technology (which cleverly leverages sketches) allows us to quickly aggregate metrics counting distinct values across various dimensions without having to requery the data.
CONS- Limited reporting functionality but Lariat has been very quick and responsive at adding new functionality when requested

Effective way to monitor data bugs
I appreciate its capacity to make data understandable and easy to interpret, even for someone like me who doesn't have a background in data engineering.
CONSThere is room for improvement in the platform's interface aesthetics.
