SAP is a proven good quality and sustainability supplier of data management. The solution HANA is in the same vein. Working well.

The solution is strong but may be old fashioned and slow facing new competitive solutions

It was my least favorite of all systems/reporting & database tools I have ever used. I don't like to be overly negative about any kind of tool, but I must be honest. I am not a fan of SAP BW. I'd prefer Netsuite or Hyperion HFM for the same purposes (I work in finance).

I don't want to simply write a complaint here. But, out of ALL the reporting systems/database-tools I have used throughout my career (and there have been many), this one was absolutely my least favorite.

1. User Friendliness - From the upload templates, to setting up new retrieves using BW's formulas, to the resources of your PC it consumes because in Excel it operates as an XSLXM file (which also leaves the files open to security vulnerabilities), this system is really convoluted to use, difficult to track down and fix errors in formulas because they are so long and hard to follow through all the variables, and it takes a long time to train for proper use.
