A Great Fit for our Business
Overall, I've had a much more positive experience with Zenbridge and Nesan than I have with most of our current and past tech providers. I am not as proficient in EDI as I'd like to be, but Nesan has been a big help in aiding my understanding and providing solutions for us.
PROSThe high level view for each transaction is extremely helpful for diagnosing breakdowns in the flow of documents. The UX on other software has often led to time spent running reports and digging for the information, whereas Zenbridge presents it straight away. Additionally, the level of support we're receiving is incomparable to any other provider we work with. Nesan is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and personable. His work with us has definitely given us the confidence to move more of our retail accounts to the Zenbridge platform.
CONSI currently cannot search for an Inventory Advice (846). I believe it's the only document in the EDI transaction that I can't search for. Minor inconvenience that's easy to work around, but definitely would be a QOL update.
Reasons for switching to Zenbridge
The level of service we were receiving did not justify the price tag.

Awesome Product and Team
In our industry, many e-commerce retailers require EDI to exchange order information. The Zenbridge product connects to a variety service providers and retailers and provides a consistent API interface to them. Compared to more modern integration technologies, EDI is not elegant. That said, the Zenbridge product provides an elegant and simplified approach to EDI development.In addition to the product, the Team at Zenbridge is awesome. The Management, Delivery Manager, Developers, and Support are incredible. They always communicate proactively. Also, they help with communicating with retailers regarding requirements. This has been a huge help to us. We let them know who we are onboarding and they take over from there. After they complete their work, the API is accessible and we begin development. It is a really clean approach.I feel comfortable having Zenbridge as a partner. I can't say enough good things about them.
CONSI like everything about Zenbridge. There are few partners I can say that about.

The Zenbridge product is great and the Zenbridge team is wonderful too. We work closely with them and feel like they are an extension of our own team. They are an awesome partner.

Great customer support
Easy to use interface for both managers and programmers. Amazing customer support!
PROSThe API end-points and the concept of having Web-hooks is great when it comes to performing in-house EDI integrations. We were able to use our existing programming resources who are not EDI experts to perform integrations.
CONSA mobile application would be great. Other than that ideal software for us.

Highly recommend for EDI integration into an ERP
Because of the automations we've put in place with Zenbridge (inbound Sales Order, warehouse fulfillment, Shipment Notice & Invoice all sent without our team manually touching the transaction) it's freed up a lot of time for our team to work on other daily tasks. AKA reduced our overhead. And, given us the ability to grow our business without having to add to the team.
PROSWe use Zenbridge as a middleware for processing sales transactions into our ERP (NetSuite). The end-to-end sales cycle has been set up by Zenbridge to be an automated workflow. The customer service and developer resource(s) we've partnered with have been exceptional.
CONSThe Zenbridge portal user interface has improved over time. The only thing I can think of that could potentially improve is adding a rule set for emails alerts, so we can be more proactively alerted of potential issues. There is a version of this in place, and it's not bad. But, as I struggle to think of cons, this is the only thing that came to mind.

Cloud Based EDI
The staff at Zenbridge are very nice and are always there to help. VAN’s careful there are going to revolutionize the industry.
PROSThe brilliant people at Zenbridge have designed the ultimate cloud based product. They have bridged old technology (EDI) to new technology (API) in a cloud based solution. FINALY a robust solution that does away with VAN.
CONSThere is no negative thing about this product we have found at this time. It is 100% cloud based and robust.

EDI Integration with NavigatorTMS
Our clients are saving hundreds of hours per week utilizing the EDI integrations possible with Zenbridge. Since going live in early June, we've seen zero downtime or issues. Looking forward to building our next integration with the Zenbridge team!
PROSThe EDI translation process is awesome, enabling our team to build an integration to the NavigatorTMS system. The onboarding process was very smooth, and the Zenbridge team was available and accessible throughout. There was also no charge for services until the 'go-live' date, which helped balance the development costs.
CONSNo big issues. Would love some additional reporting features, but understand they have a number of improvements in their development queue.
