It's a reliable service and relatively easy to use. It works well with UpCloud.

If there's something to be mentioned, it would be that the number of backup jobs could be a bit larger by default. However, that is not a dealbreaker for using this service.

I'm using it to take nightly snapshots of my data-intensive hobby project to make updating my local environment with production data as quick and easy as possible. Doing all this stuff manually isn't difficult, but it is tedious and time-consuming so I greatly appreciate how streamlined and simple SimpleBackups have made this process.

It's expensive, especially for my needs. I'm grandfathered into the free tier and am very appreciative of that but for my hobby site needs, the paid plans are just too much. I'd be happy to pay $10-15/mo for the service for this lower tier if it became required but $30+ is too much.

It offers exactly what we needed. We need to be able to backup between different cloud storage points and it works perfectly for that. The interface offers just the right level of customization.

I ran into one bug with it. However, when contacting their support, they fixed this within 24 hours.

Overall very pleased. We run a multitenant payments platform, and database backups are critical for our customers to ensure that we don't lose data. It's also important to have a working database backup solution that we don't need to configure once it's been set.

It was extremely easy to setup and get going. I was able to get offsite backups working within 20 minutes!

From a functionality perspective, it's great. I think the only improvement I can suggest is some UI enhancements, but they seem to be updating the product regularly, so I'm sure it's not far off.

For us it's very interesting to have a backup tool that can be fully operational. We don't need a lot of functions, but we need stable incremental backup and always operational, since we have clients 24/7 and we work with PBX-IP, so when something bad happens, we need to almost correct imediatly

I think the capacity of talking to support. Islam always help us when we need the most, but we missed the chat. Talking by email may be a good way to do in USA (for example), but not here in Brazil haha. Normaly we preffer WhatsApp, chat, etc.

Lots of different plug&play connectors and a great knowledgable customer service.

We can basically backup data from any cloud based service that we use and have them placed securely with storage providers of our own choise.

As a fairly new product on the market there have been some adjustments that at times have interferred with our backup-jobs. However this is expectable and their support is excellent and they quickly resolve any problem when they occur.

It's nice to know that I can trust that all of my client's websites are being backed up every day and will be easy bring back up if there's an issue. Complete peace of mind!

SimpleBackups is easy to set up and implement. After the initial configuration, which is fairly easy, each new site I set up takes about 1 minute.

I had an issue and customer service helped. They said they would double check on it the next day... And they actually did! Which isn't normal for customer service.

It was easy to setup and configure. I was backed up within the hour.

I wasn't able to manage plans from my Digital Ocean account like advertised. But they had a published work around that worked for me with little headache.
