Strategic Partnership
With Fabrics “API-centric” approach, their headless architecture goes hand in hand with GNC’s strategic omni-channel architecture methodology. All the functions exposed in API form across each of Fabric’s platform (Loyalty, PIM, Storefront, etc.) can be easily reused on all channels. Fabric’s headless and modular architecture is empowering GNC with the capability to accelerate our strategic roadmap by separating our business critical “all-in-one” monolithic applications into the right technology solutions that will drive hyper-focused business initiatives.
CONSWith change, there are always the occasional hiccup. GNC has encountered a great deal of changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fabric has been supportive and partnered with GNC the entire time.

Replatforming with Fabric
Overall excellent and one of the best transitions to new systems/software that we've experienced.
PROSThe transition has been very smooth and effortless. The team at Fabric is outstanding and the software allows for greater flexibility and scalability as we drive all of our digital properties on this new platform.
CONSWe were not able to launch earlier due to overlapping with our peak season. Not a problem of Fabric but part of our planning challenges prior to signing up for our engagement.
Reason for choosing fabric
Great management team, better product/functionality, and overall great experience during our discovery phase.
Reasons for switching to fabric
Lack of scalability and functionality for our business needs.

Good platform but needs better reporting
Fabric allows us to easily onboard partners but would like to see updated reporting and a list of Fabric partners that we could connect with to see if there is interest in the maternity space.
PROSIntegration is flexible and @Revcascadesuppport team is very quick to respond to inquiries
CONSReporting/Analytics need to be updated. We use the UPC as the common data point and the sales and top dollars listed are reported on by the retailer SKUs. We have no data/metrics within fabric. We have to manually pull reporting to see sales by partner by week/month/year.

Exciting Platform
We are enjoying the transition from RevCascade to Fabric and appreciate the hands on experience that we are getting from our Fabric partner. Our partner has been such a great guide in helping us identify our issues and diligently works with us to solve it in future Fabric updates. We are excited to continue our partnership together and look forward to seeing the future of Fabric unfold.
PROSWhat we enjoy most is the consistent updates that Fabric is making to address our pain points and update the platform to meet the standards of the market's competitors. Their simplified dashboard is easy to digest and absorb when reviewing many vendors at a time. We also enjoy the one-on-one care we get with our Fabric partners. We have a great partner who is transitioning our current platform - RevCascade to Fabric in the most seamless manner which is very helpful to us.
CONSWe are still learning the new features of this platform and have not fully transitioned to Fabric yet so we cannot share any cons at this time.
Reason for choosing fabric
We were using RevCascade which was bought out by Fabric so it was the most sensible transition for us.

Great experience starting from senior leadership to customer success and support management.
PROSFabric's team was easy to work with as was their platform during demo's and integration phases. Even within the first year, their platform adopted to our B2B specific needs at blazing fast speeds!
CONSFabric's platform has adopted to our needs and have shown they are a true partner in our B2B journey.

Nick's Fabric Reviw
Historically, from a support perspective, it's been easy to get one-off answers but comprehensive trainings for both the retailer and vendors on the software would be helpful
PROSThe platform gives a good snapshot of open/shipped orders so you can get a good idea of your recent performance at a glance
CONSI'd like more robust reporting capabilities and more assistance when it comes to supporting issues our vendors incur as we have limited visibility from our perspective

Enjoyed working with Fabric team. Fabric support was quick in responding to issues and questions.
PROSField navigation for updates: Can easily export product for cvs update import or unpublish product for manual updates. Personally, most useful is import capabilities when processing large price increases or single field updates across multiple products.
CONSCreating image an update URL. Previous V1 PIM had ability to create image URL while V2 does not have feature.

CONSWe recently began our partnership with fabric and are getting close to launching. At this time, I am unable to provide improvement recommendations.
