I enjoyed the power and flexibility of AWS but in the end the price and usability deterred us.

Overall I really enjoyed this tool. It helped me to understand AWS services better and learn infrastructure-as-a-code which was very satisfactory for me.

The cost management by making use of its Stack creation is marvelous and no resource will be running in the background once you've decided to delete the stack.

More complicated deployments will require tools such as Terraform + Ansible, since it's hard to bake all the software installation commands inside UserData.

Many times the CloudFormation deployment fails after trying for a long time, which is frustrating. Also, the error messages are not easy to understand.

As you continue to refine your templates, they do become more difficult to grok.

For detailed clarification regarding the features, excellent customer service support is provided by AWS.

Sometimes I feel the error scenarios/messages are not well handled. I spend a lot of time debugging CFT templates.

AWS CloudFormation is an outstanding AWS service.

Also, it supports various IAAS like terraform, etc., and other serverless frameworks too. It is very easy to use and you can easily find good documentation about this.

Cloudformation can sometimes fail to update stacks due to drift issues.

It's not vendor neutral which can be a problem with multi-cloud deployment which can be a problem, the competitor Terraform has many more features.

Far it's been working well. The features and functionality has its own flexubility for the user to use the software.the pricing can be lowered to gain edge over the competetors.

I like that AWS CloudFormation provides documentation to explain everything a good interface. Also, i like that AWS CloudFormation always reminds me if I exceed the budget is determined.

The compliance standards followed for each resource creation is top notch. I can create, modify or delete the stack which is derived from my CloudFormation Template with ease.

What I like least about cloudformation are the error messages. Occasionally they can be a bit vague, which of course makes debugging take longer than it should.

AWS cloud formation is a great service offering. What I like the most is that I can set up any form of cloud tech stack for my projects and automate my entire deployment lifecycle.

It's so easy to scale up and scale down your EC2 instance depending on your requirement at any particular time. This saves your costs hourly and in the long run.

I am very happy with the features and the ease to create resources on the AWS cloud.

Very rarely the stack gets stick without showing an error and stays that way until it fails.

My overall experience with AWS Cloudformation is quite amazing.

The GUI is very good and the outcome looks great. It validates the architecture very well and provides proper warning and suggestions as needed.

It's hard to understand that some resources that are possible to tag, don't support tagging in the templates. Templates can get complex over time.

AWS has a great CMS IAM were easy to use to add users. Setting admins and restrictions to Accounts were easy to setup up.

2 factor authentication sometime would rest multiple times durning server run time which causes disrubtions. Wehn scaling up servers you may get over charged.

The syntax is significantly more confusing (to me) than Terraform.

If your entire infrastructure is in AWS cloud, then this is the best IAC tool. I would say even better than Terraform in certain aspects if you are not aiming multicloud or hybrid cloud.

Great application for viewing your deployment logs.

It brilliantly integrated with multiple third-party software such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes through its fascinating API functionality.

Overall I am very satisfied by this tool when I learned it.

The best thing about AWS Cloud is that, It has a lot of different features that we can use to make our app much more robust, fast and easy to use.

It can be slow to update and create. Sometimes it fails to delete and you have to delete the stack manually.

It has amazing community support from which I can refer and practice best strategies for my deployments.

It has been a great experience, the company behind this app has great knowledge about Google's environment and API use to enable features that are helpful to speed up admin tasks and save time.

Found that this software has been quite easy to use, and gives good reporting at the end as to what did and didn't get migrated.

From an administrator/implementation, I enjoy the domain insights and the ability to have smart groups.

The speed of the migration is limited by thread, so it takes the same amount of time to move 1 user as it does to move 20, which is a little odd.

Licensing issue can be annoying, Customer Support delay since it is in UK can take few hours.

That means, there is a block of time 8-48 hours minimum that may miss messages.

Migration history randomly disappears from the portal and can't be retrieved - support confirmed this. Migration jobs can often fail frequently forcing the administrator to closely monitor the jobs.

The strong point of the solution is that it allows to solve a migration need with the big advantage in terms of time.

The Web UI design, easy of use, the functionalities that are needed and available for each of use cases.

The flexibility to use hosted or self-hosted solutions, which are both affordable and attractive, depending on the source requirments.
