Migrated from 3.2 to 5

The 3.2 version was going obsolete and we had to decide whether to stick with what we knew or try something else. We opted to stick with what we knew and are pleased that we did! The migration team was extremely helpful and gave us lots of opportunities for conversation on improving the system and worked with us to implement those changes.

PROS

We liked that since we had been using 3.2 for a number of years, migrating to the new system was easy for our teams. All the features we liked in 3.2 came over and new things were available for us to implement and streamline our business.

CONS

I would have liked to take the opportunity to do system "cleanup" before data was migrated over. It would be so cool to have the setup all done and configured before dumping data in. Instead, I have to clean up things after the fact. I've forgotten a few things that we wanted to implement and will now have to go back into my notes to figure out those settings.

Great maintenance and inventory tracking system!

Ebis is user friendly and makes for a smooth workflow.

PROS

I love that I can have multiple tabs open within the system. This allows me to effectively multi-task without having to close one window to reference another window. Also really love the physical inventory feature which makes inventory audits much easier! The EBIS support team has been very helpful during the transition.

CONS

I don't have any significant cons that I have experienced while using Ebis. I am looking forward to being able to use the system on mobile devices as the updates become available.

Reason for choosing EBIS

We chose EBIS because it had a lot of great features and was easy to use.

EBIS Implementation

Very professional, responsive organization.

PROS

EBIS is extremely flexible with a lot of configuration options. Assistance with implementation was critical to take advantage of all of the system features. The implementation team was very helpful and dedicated to making the cutover seamless. They have a very high level of attention to detail and Customer Service.

CONS

Because the system has so many configuration options, it can be a bit overwhelming to setup initially. I would recommend relying on the implementation team at EBIS to work through your business processes with you and provide direction on the best way to configure the system for your needs.

Reason for choosing EBIS

Better fit for a smaller Maintenance operation. The price point was also more in line for a smaller maintenance shop. Also has the option to for our GSE and MRO teams to work in the same system.

Reasons for switching to EBIS

Outdated MRO software that the vendor is no longer supporting
