PROS

I have found SortScape to be a fantastic addition to my business in regards to scheduling. It’s such a simple product to use which makes a huge difference compared to other products. The support is great and the cost is minimal. Definently recommended.

Find it fairly seamless and quick, easy to use, stores a lot of information about site history which is useful. The Sortscape product support has also been excellent and quick

Some small items that could be added on later. - capability to block out a specific date for public holiday, staff leave etc. - ability to customise a price for a specific reoccurring client

This used a lot of unnecessary information and wasn't quite tailored to what we needed. It didn't take much research to find Sortscape, the free trial, and the rest was history

During the time I’ve used the product, which now is a little over two years, I think I’ve experienced only two or three outages, which each lasted for no more than five minutes. Knowing that I have that level of reliability and support, takes away the biggest stress in my day

Lawncare

The ease of use of the whole system from scheduling to routing as well as tracking all past visit history.

PROS

integration was very easy once everything was automatically uploaded from Xero, and it was very user friendly, within a day I was able to use it as it was so easy to pick up and any issues you just message the guys and they will get back with either an answer or they will solve the issue for you.

CONS

No one program is going to fit any business model fully, you have to adapt around the programming but it just seems to work well. if there was a negative it would be that the photos taken do not seem to stay attached forever and it would be nice to attach files and have a chemical sheet but that said we are using the issues part which so far seems to hold all customer details needed.

Overall i am extremely happy and would recommend to anyone. The boys are extremely helpful and fast acting

The ease at which i can set my schedule up and then sortscape takes care of all the mundane task and with a click of a button your job gets repopulated. Very easy to keep a track of your padt jobs. The options of having a map of your job locations is also a very handy feature

CONS

Having colour codes that you could put on each category for example lawn mowing comes up green, hedges come up blue and so forth.

Excellent app that provides time management and routing

So far very good. The app has helped us in minimizing time, paper work, printing routes, as know we have all in one place. Game changer for us , our productivity has increased as well as customer satisfaction. Overall, great app for lawn services companies.

The availability to route each group , and the accessibility of the crew assigned to view that day's work

The app does not have the feature to view all routes at the same time, or view all properties in one map

Can't recommend enough!

PROS

Been using Sortscape for a couple of years now and I couldn't imagine running the business without it. Never have to worry about forgetting to schedule a client in and definitely don't need the old school pen and paper diary anymore. Plus they connect to Xero making invoicing a lot faster! Honest can't recommend them enough, I even asked them to raise prices as they provide way more value than we are paying.

CONS

The only thing that would be nice is to have invoices go straight from Sortscape into Xero and sent out to customers. At the moment it goes to draft and then you need to approve and email. But they are working on this as they have told me. The other thing would be to add a note to each day and be able to drag it in between clients. For example if I have to pick up something from the mower shop, I could create a note, and drag that to be placed after the last job that closest to the mower shop.

Cheaper, simpler. Had everything I needed at a better price and didn't try to do too much. Other software was confusing.

Making paperless lawn care care so easy

I have solved a headache of spreadsheets , this app has truly made my life so easy I can not even explain,I went from a spread sheet with 30 jobs I used to manually change dates every day, to a active customer base now of 3161 jobs I couldn't even imaging using a spread sheet for that many jobs.

Paper less can access the app anytime any where Can easily add and delete jobsCan easily set up recurring jobs weekly monthly etc.Invoices made easy

CONS

1 feature would be good if you could some how type in the invoice number and it raiser that job up, I personally add a invoice number to every job, some times I need to find that job I know I can search the address but sometimes I have been to this address 50 plus times as well, so If I could search invoice number as well.

Cant work without it, Exceptional product, impeccable customer service.

Overall, this product has cut my scheduling and paperwork time down tremendously. I used to use google calendar, spreadsheets and various trials with other software and this has been the best so far. When i had staff they were able to leave notes for each job that you could see in the office and after they completed jobs they could leave issues that get addressed next visit. I honestly cant imagine running the business without it now it so powerful and time saving.

PROS

Sortscape has been a lifesaver for my business. It keeps track of all my ongoing jobs, creates a nice tidy database of all my clients, it keeps track of all previous visits (Date,work done + more). It also keeps track of all the invoices done. The boys at sortscape are super easy to get in contact with, if you have issues they will address them straight away and are willing to take time to teach you how to use the program more effectively.

CONS

There is really not much to say about it on the negative side, once you get used to using it, it becomes a crucial part of the business and saves a lot of time scheduling! There could be some minor tweaks on the mobile app but its 100% user friendly and i have no issues. The boys at sortscape are working day in and day out and always putting out updates and improvements where they can, so this product is bound to just keep getting better and better.

Best Landscape Management software

We needed a way to schedule and track jobs on a cloud based system that could be accessed by our crew members and leaders anywhere and in real-time. Sortscape answered our need and went beyond it.

PROS

We are beyond thrilled with SortScape. We searched for 2 years and tried numerous industry specific products and came across SortScape on Google. The customer support and service coupled with the simple, easy use is what sold us. We couldn't be happier and do not plan on changing at all. [sensitive content hidden] and the team have been receptive to feedback and are always prompt in response for any customer service needs.

CONS

Simple Cost Effective Scheduling App

We have overall had a great experience using Sortscape.

PROS

We liked the simplicity of the scheduling function. Recurring visits get a little more intricate but doable.

CONS

We wish there was a way to choose what info subcontractors are able to see, such as the cost of the job and clients contact information. If there were, we would use sortscape as a CRM but cannot.

We love Sortscape

We have even established our own job tracking system through Sortscape, which could be used for any construction company wanting to know how long and how much money they have spent on each task within a job, as opposed to just the entire profit and loss for that job

Scheduling is a breeze with this app, what used to take me hours takes minutes now!

Easy scheduling, save hours from trying to do it on paper!

PROS

I love that I can schedule recurring visits, makes scheduling so simple. The drag and drop function is great for when schedule doesn't go to plan (which is more often than not). Having all of your clients/jobs in a list is great for prioritizing. Absolutely priceless app, it has made my least favorite part of managing my business so easy, quick and painless!

CONS

It would be nice if you could select more than one job at a time to move to a different day. If our mowing day gets moved because of a project or weather, I have to move each job, and there are many. I would love if this linked up with quickbooks, it would make billing so much easier! Note: these options may be available and I am just not aware!

Many thanks for the helpful review, Kate. I should mention that you CAN move more than one job at once. From the day and week view for the schedule, you'll see a little cog dropdown in the bottom right hand corner of each jobrun. When you click that cog, select the "move" option from the menu that appears and then select the date you want to move all the jobs in the jobrun to.

Great Software

This is a great software, all the staff are happy to use the app and web version, quick to up-load on the go when you are rushing. A must have for every gardening/landscaping business! Real time saver!

PROS

Easy to schedule gardening jobs and manage clients' schedules, invoices and team roster.

CONS

Nothing! Love it! Maybe the occasional clashes with QB when setting up new clients.

Great database, easy to use and efficient

Always had a good experience. Swift responses from the customer service team whenever I have asked a query.

PROS

Very clear and easy to use. Everything is set out the way we like it and for us using on a daily basis it does everything we require it too.

CONS

Unable to route more than 25 jobs at a time.
