Support of the team that now just quickly makes the changes through the support tickets. And "Boom" it is done. Great job.

CONS

Automotive user of Scan 123

We have really enjoyed it. The team is very respectful and warn us if we are paying to much over a large period of time, Support was quick to set up a new dealership when we got it on line and again helped with the training of the new staff.

PROS

The software was very easy to get set up and going for us, We had 4 locations to get set up, we worked with tech support to get the users set up, then the support team also handled all the training before going live which was a big help

CONS

There was a big gab when we exported our old scanned info and sent them to Scan 123 to be imported into the new site

Reason for choosing Scan123

We also use Dealerbuilt for our DMS and they recommended it. We may intergrate down the road but are not yet.

Reasons for switching to Scan123

Content Central was not as user friendly, and not as easy to set up.

Scanning issues

First time working with the company. process easy. was having issue documents not showing up and was taken care right away.

PROS

They took care of right away. easy product to use.

CONS

When I first stating scann123, documents will show under search right away now i have to wait 24 hours to 48 hours to show up in search bar.

Administrative UI Issues

PROS

I only administer user permissions and invitations, and disabling.

CONS

The interface and logic is lacking. I should be able to see a users permissions based on all available locations and checkbox whether they have access or not. I don't have a way to do this other than sending another invitation to add locations. This is NOT a good way of managing this. When a user leaves the company the interface makes me disable them for each location instead of globally disabling the user. I also have no means to change a user's information such as a last name change or email address.

Love Scan 123 the best

PROS

Everything is right there in the application. I can see all car deals, RO's, Dead Deals and any little thing that I need to find. It is easy to scan, the "intelligence" of the scanning software means I don't have to delete blank back pages, as it recognizes them and doesn't scan them. I can see what I have scanned. This one is important, as when you are scanning in as many documents as I do on a daily basis, sometimes you hit a wring key when creating the number to go with the items scanned. With Scan 123 I can see those numbers and VERY EASILY adjust them in the online application. The customer service is TOP NOTCH! They answer me the same day usually and if it's late, they get back to me in the morning. They are helpful and a real pleasure to talk to.

CONS

The only issue I every have with the software is if I hesitate in typing a name, it tries to search and find it, so when I begin typing again it sometimes overwrites what I had just typed, thus slowing me down a bit, but this is not a huge issue and usually only happens when I need to type a persons name that I am unfamiliar with the spelling.

Scan123 Review

Scan123 has been a great addition to the business with the ability to keep all of our invoices and other documents in a secure place while being able to keep track of them easy and efficiently. I would highly recommend scan123 to any businesses that have to deal with a high volume of customer documents that need to be organized responsibly.

PROS

My favorite features of Scan123 would have to be the search tool and its amazing ability to be able to find any document you are searching for, not only through the doc or folder name but through keywords in the scan as well!

CONS

Most of the features of Scan123 I have had a positive experience with, if I do have an issue the customer service team are amazing at helping to solve any issues you may have. The only issue I have had with scan123 has not been based on the application so I don't really have any recommendations for it.

STORAGE, LOOKING UP INFORMATION NECESSARY TO ACCOUNT COLLECTIONS.

PROS

EASY SCANNING , EASY LOOK UP , I DON'T KNOW WHAT MORE CAN I SAY.

CONS

I cannot print a decent report to give to my managers on outstanding invoices and repair orders. Since the software change several months ago I can't even do a control print without the menu bar being printed, sen Hue a copy of what it looks like. Also, the sequence report is more than necessary, I am not interested in what I have it is what I don't have and that is all I need.

Customer Support

I'd give them a 10 if a copy process could be set up.

PROS

Fast service, ease of creating cabinets and storage.

CONS

I would like to make a recommendation that we be able to "copy" files rather than move them when needed. I am going through a State Sales Tax Audit, and we could not copy documents without being an IT expert and at that, not sure if it would work. So we laboriously moved documents, one by one, to a special cabinet for the auditors. Maybe something could be done to make that process easier.

Scan123 is a great way to store all of your document and have easy access to them right from your computer.

Very good! Again...customer service excellent!

Solid product, excellent customer service

Getting started took some time, and I'd recommend new users start slowly and really think through how you want to name documents and folders to make them easy to sort and locate down the road. That said, I've been really happy with Scan123. In particular, the customer service. The response time and personal attention they offer when you have a question or concern is outstanding.

PROS

The customer service has been consistently terrific for the 4 years we've been with them. Great solution for storing documents digitally instead of in dusty old filing cabinets. Product has been evolving with new features and they really take time with their customers to figure out what works.

CONS

Some of the newer features are designed only for US users. Some minor adapting needs to happen for Canadian users (such as a zip code field that won't accept a Canadian 6 character code).

Scan123 Review

This is the first experience scanning for this company. My staff has had no problem using this software and are "on-board" as to its usefulness. The over-all experience has been very positive.

PROS

It is extremely easy to use. The search button has been highly useful. It has cut my research time dramatically!!

CONS

The only thing that could be improved is that I am asked quite often to provide documents to outside sources. I can't send them directly from our files saved on Scan123. I need to save them to a file on my computer and then send them that way. Just an extra step so not really all that bad.

Scan123 a valuable tool!

This is a great system for record keeping!! It is user friendly and the the support is great.

PROS

The service I get when the system needs a correction or update. Scan123 always makes contact with in 24 hours but usually same day within an hour. Customer service is what matters most to me.

CONS

The only complaint I really have is when my whole system has to reboot and it messes up my settings and I have to contact support. Kind of unavoidable.

Seamless, secure document signing and storage

We are able to connect with lead prospects quickly and give them the opportunity to review documents at their own pace. The process to send out documents is easy and can be done by anyone in the company with minimal training.

PROS

The ability to easily prepare and send out documents for signing and store them in an intuitive way.

CONS

I cannot think of anything, the customer service and development teams take care of every issue I encounter.

Great value and customer service

Great product overall. Quick responses to issues and repair tickets. I can call and if I leave a message the response is usually within the hour.

PROS

As the administrator, it is easy to use and assign new users in our company and removing rights when someone leaves the company. Having the global search option is a HUGE time saver when things are added to an incorrect folder by accident with multiple scanners.

CONS

I would like to be able to filter searches. sometimes when saving an incorrect key is hit by mistake and finding it to correct is not easy. I'd like to be able to search for the last items uploaded that way I'm not wasting time looking for it.

Great Software

The initial setup was very smooth, the representatives of the company did a thorough demo, were very attentive and communicative throughout the whole setup, and pricing was in line with what was quoted. They worked directly with our IT team and the setup was very smooth. The customer service and support has only continued at the same high level in our multiple years with them. Their support team is VERY responsive and I have only had good experiences. As Controller, I work with a lot of different vendors; I wish all were as great as Scan123.

PROS

Multiple cost tiers depending on pages scanned, so cost is easy to manage/customize. The software is easy to implement, intuitive to new users, simple yet effective.

CONS

My experience with the software has been superior so far. However, I have not used other scanning software to compare against.

Scan 123 is a great company

I have been dealing with Scan 123 for over 14 years. We have never had any technical issues to speak of. The only time that I need help is when changing a user and maybe getting a key for a new PC. Scan 123 has always given personal service. They are quick to respond. I wish all software providers were as easy to deal with as Scan 123

CONS

There are really no issues. My users have no complaints. And believe me they would let me know if there is a problem

Very happy with this.

PROS

Like that we can access the files from any computer. Once downloaded, can print just the pages that are needed.

CONS

If you go to a cabinet to search, have to know the folder name. Cannot just put in keywords.

It has been a life saver for our department and everyone new catches on right away. I love that at the end of the day I have no paper on my desk and I can easily find the document

It is an easy system to use as Batches or adding to a scanned document. Easy to find help when needed

CONS

It gets stuck sometime but it is easy to find help or get help when this happens
