We could not have done it without StartupTree
I’ve tried close to a dozen other software platforms in the past, but StartupTree is the only one that actually meets our needs. We moved every part of our programming onto StartupTree and I could not recommend doing so enough. Alternative solutions only go so far and it really adds up when you need one for each section of your operations from marketing and promotions to a CRM to an events software. We would not have been able to grow nearly as fast without the power of StartupTree and the only regret I have would be not getting on sooner.
PROSThe best part is that I can pull everything my team needs for our newsletter each week, track granular user activity and event RSVPs, and collect application data all in one place. I’ve saved much time with reporting since StartupTree eliminates the need for data tracking to be manual. Having all our community activities centralized on one platform does wonder for both my team behind the scenes and for students to get the most out of our programming.
CONSThe product has changed a lot over the years, but it hasn't always been clear what changes are going to be made. Recently they've implemented a product newsletter that gives greater visibility into upgrades being made which helps a lot.

A Beginner's Viewpoint
The tech support person was helpful in that she fixed my problem. It just took a few days which could have been stressful if I were up against a deadline, luckily I was not. Hopefully, Startup Tree learned something as well because they had never seen the error I was seeing before.
PROSI recently started using Startup Tree and found it fairly easy to navigate. Some things were not intuitive, but I managed to find what I needed. When I encountered a problem, tech support was there to walk me through the situation.
CONSIt took several attempts and several days to fix the tech problem I encountered. For some reason, I could not access my account. I tried all the usual fixes like resetting my password, rebooting my computer, etc. During this time I was in contact with Startup Tree via email and they were troubleshooting on their end. They had to reset my password from their side.

Hi Taqio, thanks for the feedback! DePaul has a vibrant network on StartupTree as well as robust programming, glad you're taking advantage of it! We're going to upgrade our validation error messages — for responses that exceed the Character Limits, etc — since that's one of the reasons why submissions don't go through.

The Perfect Platform!
Overall our team has had an amazing experience with StartupTree. We have transitioned most of what we do to be managed or partly managed/set-up through the platform and it has made our work much better and efficient. The customer service is excellent and the platform continues to evolve and be updated which is great. Overall, I would highly recommend this platform to any Entrepreneurship centre looking to expand and organize their offerings into a single place.
PROSThe ability to be able to have students view my calendar, directly book a meeting with me and communicate with me all through the platform is such a great feature. Also really like how easy it is to navigate through and use the platform.
CONSThere isn't anything I don't like about the platform... there are however things I think that could be added such as more features and integration to other software (such as MailChimp etc...) that would be beneficial.
