Everything in sync NextMinute is epic
Awesome. The team is local and helped me set up in a matter of minutes. They are a really cool bunch and speak my sparky language when I have a question.
PROSThe integration with Xero is a dream. Everything is in sync in real time. I've saved so many hours tracking timesheets, building and sending quotes and reconciling payment back through Xero. I love the job planning feature for my bigger jobs and I have a live view of my finances and job profitability.
CONSIt's not quite field service. I knew that going in when I did the trial but the other features are so good and its so cheap, I've stuck with NextMinute. So, I don't really have any cons.

The support guys and gals. Hands down, the most important thing is the support, I was struggling through the other ones and as soon as I got the good advice and support, I was sold.

Next minute is a game changer
Next Minute are very helpful for advice and tutorials even a year after using the product, they always return your calls and emails.
PROSA great tool that works with all parts of our business, from initial call to end product. There are alot of features that you can use to make your time in the office a whole lot easier. The mobile APP is very good, and has almost all features available as the computer, so is very funtionall in the field.
CONSIt has been difficult to get the team on board with all the features, as there are so many options available. Moving from paper and excel sheets has been hard for some, but videos and tutorials have been great to assit with this.The payroll isnt quite integrated well yet with Xero as far as leave goes, but I am told this will be resolved soon.

I foudn that the job costing and reports were superior, and this owrked for our design part of the business really well.
Reasons for switching to NextMinute
Because the product said it would do things, then 3 months into using it, I found it clunky and not up to what it said it could do- A case of overpromise and under deliver.

I do like tracking time per jobs and our staff find it easy to use
CONSCost although we are not using all features so something we need to spend more time doing

Next minute rocks
It’s been great I would like to use it in our vehicles as car play would be good but I overall like the system it’s been good to capture all we do and invoice everything no money lost
PROSIt made my admin for my company so much easier streamlined everything
CONSWhen my mobile service isp drops out and I loose 4g that sucks lol

I have used and still use Next Minute for the past 5 years and love its set up.
PROSThe quoting and progress invoicing. Ability to group costs and invoice by groups or by lines etc.
CONSNot being able to change the body of an invoice/quote/purchase order

Excellent
PROSThe best feature for me is the financial management of a job through actual costs and supplier invoices. I can see at any point how much is owed to us, what has been invoiced and still to come.

Great on the go job app
Good product with good support when things don't go 100%
PROSEasy to use and functional. Links well with accounting software for invoicing.

Support from [sensitive content hidden] has been outstanding and that our suggestions get heard and the possibility they will be acted on is reassuring
PROSGreat tool for recording employee time against each job. Clean interface that has been relatively easy to deploy
CONSInvoicing was too clunky to use stand alone, especially chasing overdue invoices so was easier to sync with Xero and manage Invoices there. At times it feels we need to click. Lunch Breaks feature in timesheets caused a real headache so deactivated this feature

Next Minute has definitely helped our company to land a lot more work with the supplier integration and quoting features.
PROSThe Placmakers supplier integration is my favorite feature. Would be nice to have other building materials suppliers set up on integration as well.
CONSHow I can't shift actual charges from one job to another. This is an issue when the supplier puts materials for two different jobs on the same invoice.
