Boomtown provides marketing and sales automation solutions for the real estate industry. Through Boomtown, brokers can select and customize a lead generation website, track and nurture leads, and monitor team success and sales. The application is SaaS based and can be accessed from an iPad, smartphone, and a tablet.

The automated marketing tools create a way for brokers and agents to stay in touch with prospects and clients so that agents can nurture leads without having to manually track all interactions. The system automatically sends notifications regarding listing updates, so that agents can remain up-to-date with their markets.

Boomtown features advanced website analytics, allowing users to track a prospective buyer's or seller's movements and interactions across the site. Sales analytics include dashboards that can help managers monitor their team’s engagement. The tool allows users to customize their product website and add features like mortgage calculator, home value estimator, price history, property details and property maps.

Its technology aims to help Real Estate brokers and Real Estate agents to convert more leads and increase more sales in the most effective, timely and convenient way. From the front end to the back end, its tools are designed to manage all leads and opportunities without missing any sale. It is cheaper consideing that its features and functionality are complete from website, to CRM to email marketing.

Cons

Customer support is not that consistent when it comes to responding on time. Boomtown is used by most agents because it is cheaper that is why technical support and customer support sometimes have delays.

Was recommended this software from multiple people and haven't looked back. Have tried multiple products in the past few years. Very easy to use, great onboarding and efficient systems make it a great asset to our real estate team.

Cons

It seems like there are a lot of different tools to use on the platform. Unfortunately, for a team of only agents it's tough to find time to learn the ins and outs of the platform.

When I reach out and say I am considering a change or make any level of a complaint about the viability of leads I get a quick condemnation on how I could better manage the site. The marketing they have done for me has brought many registrations but there are a ton of bogus leads. I will probably make a change to a new system because the price for the CRM part is so high. I have had and been working the system for 18 months and closed 2 buyers. I am a broker owner

Pros

The support is great and the CRM works really well. I find the site mostly easy to use on a computer.

Cons

VERY limited ability to manage pages, no ability to manage ad word account, SUPER EXPENSIVE. The mobile app is very buggy and limited. It also locks up at least once a month.

The cost is one of the highest in the industry for CRM's and website but if you can afford it, it's the Cadillac.

BoomTown is an average web marketing system for real estate professionals with an efficient mix of technology and services. BoomTown gives lead generation, CRM technology, and consumer-facing websites. I would recommend looking at other CRM before going with this.

Pros

I have been consulting as CRM Administrator/Analyst for a while now and have had the chance to work with a couple companies that use Boomtown as their CRM tool. Boomtown isn't my favorite software to implement or work. The UI is clunky at times but has definitely improved over the years. This is a mid-tier dashboard, that leaves you wanting more. What I do like is that individuals can easily set up campaigns and client contact information. The product does make it easy/clear to Identify which clients you have not reached out to in a while. With this CRM they offer the ability to do texting campaigns, which are very easy to set up. This is great because you don't have to use your phone to send out the campaign to the targeted clients.

Cons

Pricing and Customer support. I have help companies during the implementation process and have not been a fan working with their support team. They have never been attentive and rarely know the answers to issues the first time. Also, I would not recommend this product to a small business because it can become very expensive and you are locked into a 12-month contract that may not work for every company.

Cons

For an individual agent, it's a little tough to get enough good leads for just a handful of properties. For a larger team though, generating leads for many many different listings, you could definitely get more bang for the buck. Also the pay-per-click is a little pricey.

We are currently in the process of switching CRMs and have had a wonderful experience with the support team at Boomtown. Our new site is beautiful and it was easy to sync our Zillow leads with the Boomtown CRM.

Cons

The only con I can think of would be trying to schedule the training session once the site is launched. With this being said, if your team plans ahead and chooses a date earlier enough, you should not have any issues.

Cons

I would not know it its a negative thing but it still is pricy even though I got it on special. For a new agent starting up having a legit website is key. I would like to see them offer a cheaper version for starting Realtors.

They seemed like decent people when we signed up and we they said they would provide good support for us.

Cons

They did not keep their word. They overcharged us multiple times on billing. They were told not to continue buying large amounts of leads fro the required PPC and they ignored our requests and charged us anyways. They return was nothing like they said it would be. No one from management would even return our call. Very poor business practices.

Pros

My favorite thing about BT is their customer service. I know that if I have a problem or question I can always get a timely, helpful response. I also love how user friendly the system is and all the help/training tools that are always available.

Cons

The thing I like the least is that I am not able to add my own Stage category for clients. Such as adding a category for mets that aren’t qualified but being dripped on.

Pros

I feel more confident in engaging with my clients because I can better predict where they are in the buying process. I can feel them out in terms of where they are in The Funnel. If they are longer term prospects or if they are ready to buy now. Or simply seeing if they need more information on a home based on how they are engaging with the website. The experience has been nothing but positive with BoomTown.

Pros

The best part of this software is being able to gauge my clients interest in homes based on their search activity on my website. And from there, being able to send homes directly through my website without going back to the MLS and sending homes the "archaic" way. And from there, being able to engage with my clients within the the CRM without having to leave the CRM to go to my work email or phone.

Cons

The search functionality could be improved to match nearly identical with the MLS search capabilities.

The integration with our Paragon MLS system has literally no issues, the CRM is easy to use and has so many benefits our agents are just learning to use. Boomtown support is super easy to contact and get answers from in a timely manner. We are truly excited to see what this site will do for us as it has already abled us to move faster, keep in touch better, and search easier.

It's been fabulous. For those agents that have NOT applied a CRM to their business, this is a great addition. One extra closing pays for the program in spades.

Pros

While I sleep, while I am busy with other clients, BT tracks and memorializes my prospective client's every move. It's stealth posture makes me look like a mind reader when I bring up a "property that I stumbled accross this morning" which happens to be the property that my client put hearts all over!

Cons

The mobile app. It's a bit cumbersome to drill down to clients information and / or the properties that they were looking at and applying "favorite" titles to.

As a new real estate agent I am so grateful for this tool! I cannot imagine trying to keep track of leads and follow up with everyone in a timely manner without it. It also allows the space for notes on each clients which helps me provide a personalized experience even if I only talked to the lead once 6 months ago. It's helped my business grow quickly!

Pros

It is so simple to keep track AND nurture hundreds of leads without ever missing a follow up. Additionally, with notifications, you can contact a hot lead within minutes of registration or interaction. It's the perfect tool to provide the best follow up and customer service. Email templates and drip campaigns make it quick and simple to contact hundreds of potential clients in one day.

Cons

It does take some time to get through all the training in order to fully utilize it's potential. You'll have to make sure all your employees go through the training as well. It is intuitive to some degree, it just has an expansive capability that takes some time to take full advantage of.

There are many features in BoomTown, which can be overwhelming. A better training program that walks new people through, step by step, would be very helpful.

Cons

Suggestions for NEEDED improvements are only taken on a voting basis. Meaning that if you're having a problem with their search engine, you have to have to wait for others to "vote up" the problem. I find this to be absolutely unprofessional and it makes a terrible impression with our agents.
Customer service is almost always awful. You cannot get a direct number to consistently call one person with an issue, meaning you will have to explain it over and over (and over).

Overall, I have had a very positive experience with Boomtown. This is a product that my Broker offers to the agents and I view it as a huge benefit because it sets me apart from other agents in the market place.

Pros

I like this software because it is an easy way for me to manage conversations with prospective home buyers and sellers.

Cons

The system is quite large and the iphone/ipad app is not as functional as the actual website when using on a computer. Who uses a computer anymore?!
