One stop shop for competitive intelligence
I loved how easy it was to view competitor scorecards. Our marketing team developed awesome scorecards that provided easy to interpret snapshots of our biggest competition. I used this heavily when I was in a CSM role and needed to understand where customers were coming from when they wanted to switch to a competitor. It helped me have natural conversations about the pros and cons of both.
CONSIt could have been the team that implemented it at my company but I didn't like that you couldn't see when the battle cards were last updated.

CONSI like Kompyte and our customer service representative quite a bit, but sometimes there are anomalies in presented information, these are addressed swiftly. More vexing, it is not possible to export battlecards into a PowerPoint or tables into Excel. This requires manual work by me as these formats are required by my internal customers.

Adequate for my needs
Having a resource to store knowledge is fantastic. Quick reference battle cards are great when you are in the moment with a customer and discussing things live on a call.
PROSThe UI is very easy to navigate. Nothing that blows your mind when you use it but it is good. I also like how you can see the main cards in the dashboard so you know where to search.
CONSSometimes the search function doesn't work as well as expected. Other times when you search it works great. If it was a little more consistent it would be ideal.

Kompyte’s great!
The Kompyte tool takes the complexity of tracking competitor updates and makes it easy to scroll through and see highlighted word posts. I like the addition of monitoring all social media posts. These posts often give insights into a competitor's strategy not seen on their website. The system's design is intuitive in getting the data from a website or social post into an easy to read feed. Their Customer Success group is always available to help and set up the system to meet competitive intelligence objectives.
PROSKompyte does an excellent job gathering up all the info about competitors and providing an easy-to-read format. It makes it faster to be updated about what's going on across many competitors. I can do quick checks on what's going on specifically with one competitor or scroll down the feedback to get a sense across all the competitors tracked. I can focus more on finding the key insights that I can share across different groups. Kompyte’s search engine pulls the data and sorts it in a clear, simple way The UI for the desktop version is very intuitive and easy to use. It's been great to get started; the Customer Success team's support in setting up the system and keeping things going is wonderful!
CONSThere’s nothing I dislike. I like Kompyte's redesigned Phi platform. There’s more functionality with it.

Kompyte saves us valuable time
Kompyte tracks a variety of data sources per competitor, saving us hundreds of employee hours each year. Insight reports are a great way to keep everyone informed of important competitor changes and alerts let us know immediately of important pricing or product changes.Customizable battle cards keep sales and customer success up-to-date on our strengths and objection handling.
CONSKompyte has been making frequent updates and bug fixes, I can't think of a complaint I've had in the last year that wasn't immediately addressed by their success team.
