A huge fan of HCP!

We've been a client of Home Care Pulse for approximately 5 years now and I'm a huge fan. Being able to receive real-time feedback from clients and team members is huge. We use the survey comments to provide better service to our clients and also to be a better employer. The support we receive from our account team, especially [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is wonderful. Anytime we have a need, he's there with a timely response.

PROS

The real time nature of employee and client feedback is invaluable.

CONS

The software is great, the only thing I'd like to see is more personalized questions.

The most important change we made to our practice

Home Care Pulse has been a great asset to JFS Care, making us better each month. The customer service is always fast and friendly.

PROS

Our goal was to improve our clients and caregivers experience with JFS Care, Home Care Pulse delivered much more than that. It gave us insight into how changes we were making to operations, practices where actually working in real time. As an example we had started sending out small gifts with birthday cards, the following month we saw reviews from our staff commenting on what it meant to them, real time feedback! During COVID lockdown we had started making direct calls to all our clients weekly to check in and see how they were, again real time we heard that this was important to them.

I really di not find anything that is negative,

Not All Bad Reviews Should Count!

It helps us solve continued improvement for our clients and our staff.

PROS

It is easy to navigate and locate the information you need.

CONS

Occasionally we need to reactivate closed client cases for the purpose of state inspections. Some of these people we haven't had caregivers in the home for a year or more, but yet Home Care Pulse will call them for a review, how can their bad review be helpful?

Better understandings of the business

The benefits that we are receiving is the survey gives an extra chance to say Thank you or what can we do better to make the experience better.

PROS

Mostly, I like the navigation and ability to set the options that matter more to your business. Also, the representatives get back to you in a timely manner when there is an issue.

CONS

Least, I would like for the surveys to be in real time. You can view how many are completed but it takes a day or two to see the survey on the dashboard.

VANTAGE HCHB

PROS

HCHP helps us help our people. It really consolidates all the information we need in one place and the best part is they do all the work for us. As users all we need to do is keep the profiles updated so they can continue to do what is needed. I would say the software is definitely user friendly. If you feel lost or need assistance they are quick to respond and assist as needed. Without them we would not be able to get the feedback we do in such a fast pace. Thank you for your service.

CONS

Currently the only con I have is not being able to edit information in the actual software.

I couldn't grow and really know my business without Home Care Pulse

I am a big believer in HCP, my overall experience has been very positive. I have begun programs, due to the feedback with HCP, mentor programs, nursing license, different uniforms, etc. I take the feedback very seriously and my goal is that a third party person gathers this data, and it is our responsibility to use the data and comments to better the business with clients and staff alike.

PROS

It's very easy to use, gather data and export information easily. The team is very easy to work with and anytime we need anything, they deliver. Very happy with all aspects of HCP.

CONS

We have been using Home Care Pulse for over 8 years and I know some of our clients and staff who take part in the surveys are a little tired of the same questions, maybe for more established clients different questions can be used.

Love Home Care Pulse

My overall experience has been fantastic. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been my point of contact for two companies now and he is exceptional. He definitely made my transition to a new company and starting from scratch so mush easier. Having that familiar contact made my comfort level very high as I knew I was in good hands and we would be successful in getting this program started.

PROS

The software is very easy to use and the information is laid out in a way that it is easy to follow and understand. I love the customized report feature so I can pull specific information for different meetings and our marketers.

CONS

I did not like the change that was made to the caregiver/ client info screens, when I need to make a correction I am no longer able to do it in the edit box

HomeCare Pulse Survey

Overall experience has been excellent.

PROS

The items I like most about our software are many - the ease of use, customer service and communication, surveys, effective and efficient software updates, excellent overview of national healthcare news - all are excellent and they definitely help as a seller when we are speaking with client prospects.

CONS

At this time, I have no recommendations. The company is always looking at ways to improve the product and service.

Love all the monthly reports and analytics we get back from the customer and employee reviews. The staff at HCP are open to feedback and constantly improving the service and reports for users.

CONS

Can be costly depending on how many reviews you do every month.

Great program

It has been very successful with us. We like to know how are clients and caregivers feel about the services that we provide.

This is a very effective way for our company to get feedback from or clients and caregiver and how they feel our services are provided.

CONS

When a client or caregiver gives us bad reviews but then leaves it as anonymous so we don't know who to contact to fix our mistakes or handle the situation properly.

Home Care Pulse

I respect the integrity of the program and the helpfulness of the program to our organization. There is a wealth of practical information and tools in the website as well as in the regular webinars.

PROS

I like that the software is user friendly. It is not too difficult to navigate.

CONS

It would be nice to have a "favorites" page to save commonly used things such as employee awards. I pull the awards every month and have to re-search for it each time.

Home Care Pulse is the Industry Benchmark!

Both client and employee satisfaction. We review the results monthly and make changes as appropriate. We have been successful in using the data to promote the Quality Program of our agency. This is critical to our success.

PROS

It is extremely easy to use. The team is helpful also in providing suggestions on how to use it, how to leverage the data collected, and how to highlight the success of your business.

CONS

None, it is straightforward and easy to navigate and use. I guess one thing, it does not seem to track that I have been in before and provides tips and trick pop-up windows that you have to click through even though you stated last time not to show them again. VERY MINOR

PROS

It is really great to see how your clients and employees feel about certain aspects of the care you provide as an agency and employer. The way the different reports are presented at first can be a little confusing, but customer service is so helpful that if you don't understand something they can explain it right away.

CONS

Graphs, terms, and reports initially confusing without explanations, but some one on one with your representative will clear that up.

Helpful tool for improving business

This has been an effective tool for us to learn where we have opportunities for improvement and where we are making a positive impact and can do more of what is creating that positive impact. We review the monthly report in our team meeting and respond accordingly. I watch trends over time to assist in planning and strategy. The specific feedback and trends for areas of improvement in the 2018 monthly reports was a contributing factor to our 2019 focus being The year of the Caregiver. We used the feedback to make changes and took our caregiver scores from 3.6 to 8.6. Thank you!

Very Helpful Feedback

It is very specific, therefore I can use the reviews to re-visit clients & caregivers and try to correct some of the things they decribe as issues. The inside feedback is pricless when aiming for total client/ caregiver satisfaction.

PROS

The software is very easy to use, functional,and is constructed in a manner I find to be helpful.

CONS

The dashboard could be a arranged a little more clearer so when looking at a glance you can read what is needed more easily to serve the whole purpose of what a dashboard is used for.

Unbiased Client and Employee Opinions

Great customer support, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was wonderful in his explanations. He helped to get us launched properly with the right focus.

PROS

With an actual phone call and questionnaire, we get unbiased and unfiltered opinions from clients and employees. To get the opinions through a 3rd party we get a true glimpse of how we are viewed by both. This view is very important to helping us change, grow and become a better organization.

CONS

Overall I would say there is not much to like least about the software. I think quarterly calls instead of monthly calls could be beneficial. Sometimes it is difficult to see and process monthly calls although in reality the trend is important.
