I have used few cloud management software during my previous employments and I can recommend this as one of the best software in the competition.

The inability to manage the expiration of relics. When a VM is deleted, the backups remain in Rubrik, but there is no way to allow these backups to expire.

The product has saved us a few times with production servers going down. Instant recover is great.

Works Great but Lacking as a Overall Solution.

This software is robust, yet easy to use. I definitely recommend Rubrik if you have servers with information that needs to be retained.

Ease of use and speed of backups/restores is a real plus. The search on the web interface is also one of the best I have used and works really well.

Backup times have been greatly reduced as well as the space consumed thanks to the great deduplication.

Frankly, Rubrik is an amazing product. It works seamlessly, has several advanced features, and is extremely simple to use.

The analysis is incredibly in depth and the management VMs and nodes is as easy as it needs to be. Going from VMware to this is a simple jump and the hardware makes it worth while.

The templates are perfectly set up for direct import of data from analysis software.

The ease of monitoring and maintaining your VM Environment has been greatly reduced with the use of Nutanix Prism.

Whether you still use vmWare or thier built in product Acropolis to host VMs, if you can handle the price tag, it is well worth the investment.

The alarms are a little goofy when you are have 2 different hypervisors. Licensing is also a bit goofy for specific environments.

Overall it is complex but does not take long for an IT person to catch on to the madness.

There was a major stumbling block rolling it out, sufice to say they keep several network subnets as built it and we were unlucky enough to use one of them.
