Easy to use, very focused use case and extremely helpful information.

At times, code does decompile  which makes it difficult to check bugs.

Our Admin complains that it is not convenient to set system wide 'overrides', that is, exception types to ignore. It can be done, but multiple times, and apparently needs to be reset.

It would fail to notify about most errors, and routinely report errors we had attempted to filter out. This persisted despite numerous sessions with app engineers.

As a CI/CD product- Harness is pretty solid. The setup process is really easy and once you know to use most of its features- it's a pretty powerful product.

The product is easy to use while capturing the threads and showcasing the variables from the incidents on debug view. It's also good at capturing snapshots and counts, VM info and logs when possible.

Its greatest features are the dashboard which shows the trend of exceptions in your system and its capability to show stack trace and the variable values preserved.

There are many ties where we've been able to solve a problem without having to try to reproduce it just because we had Overops installed.

Great experience overall, great customer service when we had doubts about the product. The software does what it says it does and really helps to make the CD easier.

Overops (formerly Takipi) is a great tool that has been a fantastic asset to our debugging capabilities.

Support from Harness is excellent and they are always there to help when required.

Config as Code is pretty great, especially due to the bi-directional sync with a Git repo. Also the verification step in a workflow could be really useful.

We implemented it to save the development time on building out a pipeline using other tools like Jenkins. We managed to get a production ready pipeline up and running within a month.

It hard to scroll in the code source of the error cited out.

Octopus is fantastic for complex deployment scenarios; when my clients ask me the best way to deploy the same solution in a multi-tier environment, Octopus deploy the first recommendation.

Octopus is very easy to integrate with other tooling be it through RestAPIs, CLIs, etc. If it can be scripted Octopus can integrate with it.

The ease of use and design is really well done. I also really like the community step template library, people really seem to make good use of it and I get all the benefits.

When creating processes and having errors, it is sometime a bit difficult to debug the pipeline without having to run the full cycle.

For example if i am in variables, maybe some compare functions. Whenever i work with with varaibles, lots of libraries, sometimes it becomes hard.

We have a bunch of different applications and they're not all built the same, so it's nice to feel like there isn't any app we can't deploy with Octopus.

Octopus has been a huge resource for our team. There is so much in the way of customization with this tool, that we haven't even begun to use every functionality.

Feeling confident that I can hit a button and be sure four servers in three different countries on another continent are going to be safely updated is awesome.

I love how easy it is to set up projects and the visibility that this tool offers. I liked it so much that I brought it over to my new organization.

Due to Microsoft licensing and infrastructure issues, this is dragging on and we are trapped on a certain version for now.

Process creation - adding steps, moving, sometimes but irritating. You know to know the tricks.

The most difficult part was understanding of how to setup triggers for a automatic deployment to a stage when a new version becomes available.

The UI is superb, easy to understand and work with. Should that fail the docs don't.

Simply the best tool in its field for (particularly Windows) deployments.

I have found Octopus Deploy to be a very well thought out and intuitive deployment orchestration system. It is very easy to use and quite simple to get started.

Also why i can leave empty scope, and everyone can updated.

Most of the things are straightforward. I like the way portal is build, where options are etc.

I really like this product and it makes my life easier as far as deployments go. I would highly recommend it.

Lack of config as code has been a sore spot, please get this to GA ASAP.
