The software has been tailored to meet the needs of customers and is easy to use. BasicSafe is well-known for their service and support, making this a wonderful company to work with all around!

Overall what features I really needed for our safety program are not here. Sure its inexpensive but one reason we chose this was our old system was outdated VHS tapes from the same company. Right after we purchased there is a new option called Basic Safe which you should not have to pay extra for; should be all inclusive.

It was inexpensive. It has a place to store and research what pages you can use to start building a safety manual; if needed. It does have the tool box talk pages and you can get assistance from other safety experts regarding questions about OSHA laws. They will give you the link to the citation.

The training aspect. The videos were cumbersome to look up. Then once bookmarked you cant just download onto your own computer for a quick and dirty way to keep training straight. There are also too many options on the training subjects. If I am looking for lock out tag out then just give me one option per say - not three. A lot of the content on here can be found when you join NSC.

Terrible compared to SAFETY BLR. I used to have an employee newsletter that I can customize and now that feature is gone with the money we paid. I thought we paid for the same service I had with Safety BLR. Now I pay the same price with fewer features.

None, when being a user of SAFETY BLR for years and compare to EHS HERO.

SAFETY BLR was easier to navigate much clearer for finding things. This EHS HERO is terrible and it takes longer to download material.

I used basicsafe on a daily basis for six years. The format is easy to use and enabled my company to totally eliminate all hardcopy procedure manuals, sds sheets and forms. Nice huh. Our five location remote facilities staff was able to bring up the most current procedures, regulations and forms. Training was easy for all from office to floor. If they have a smart phone they will be able to use this software. Bonus- AIB , USDA and customers all appreciated the ease of finding documents too. We expanded it into using for audits, work orders and corrective actions. Quality product.

Needs better ability to bring large photos into it. We were doing visual workplace and large photos were tough.

Time saver! All safety items in nice and neat bundles.

It's easy to use; even for folks who haven't used computers much. I like the follow up training for each tool, great way to remind folks of the features in each tool when they might have forgotten.

During a search in the incident tool, once you've clicked into an incident and you try to go back to the search screen/info on that screen, it disappears. You have to re-enter the search. It would be nice to have it retain the search in order to go back/forth easier.

Easy to use and easy to train others. The audit tool, action tool, and incident tool are very user friendly.

Cannot load multiple images to a specific sequence in the lockout tool. I would like the ability to upload multiple action plans at once.

Easy for operators to find the LOTO checklists.

In the LOTO Module, the ability to add photos to the LOTO checklist. The ability to search for equipment names in the LOTO module makes it much easier for our operators to find the checklists.

We can't upload our current checklists into the system, we have to start from scratch, but that's more because of our current checklist system rather than an issue with BasicSafe.

EHS Hero has more benefits than I take advantage of. I hope to spend more time using it in the future.

The environmental updates and safety training resources are great.

I have no complaints about EHS Hero. I have contacted customer support several times and always received great service.

All training needs.

All I need to train my employees. I don't have to search everywhere else to train it's there for me with such a great general industry library.

You don't get the whole system where I can only get so much approved I know BLR offers more that I am unable to take advantage of.

Currently not able to use the audit tool when internet is not available. Offline capabilities for rural site audits would allow us to complete the entries on site.

The training and policy documents save me a lot of time. By using these resources I do not have to write all the information myself.

The pre-written safety policies and training documents are very valuable to me as I am a one-person team.

There are many of the resources in Spanish but would like to see more of the training and policy resources in Spanish.

I've had BasicSafe at two companies I've worked at. BasicSafe is easy to use and gives us a good place for all our safety information. If I ever have a question, BasicSafe is there to answer it very quickly. I'd recommend this company, especially if it's your company's first step in organizing your safety information.

We use BASICSAFE in all of our facilities. The notifications and features built into the system remove many of the complications associated with my job. I would recommend BASICSAFE to anyone.
