Works wonderfully well for our retail store!
We opted Ginesys for managing our Handicraft retail Store at Connaught Place, Delhi. Ginesys implementation team made it a cakewalk to use the product. All our requests were timely addressed and resolved. The software support almost all features needed to run retail operations in a hasslefree manner.
CONSReporting can be simplified as some reports are Cube based and instead of one click, need more sophisticated procedures.

Ginesys is good for mid tier business need be more flexible in customisation
Overall 10 years we had good experience with ginesys. As our business grew ginesys also grew with our business needs but from past 1 year we feel ginesys might not be capable large scale business.
PROSCustomer support and Ginesys is always ahead when compared to similar ERP in mid segment. The way ERP transformed for GST changes is very impressive.
CONSNot very flexible and not ready to integrate with new applications with which client is comfortable. Pricing is too high we need tie up with some 3rd party tool for any kind of new feature.

Appeared professional and was been used by many companies in our industry.

Very poor user level Experience
Management only concerned how to extract money. They compare there with sap/other internal Brands and try to charge according but they are not giving the basic they which is required for our industry and also promised at the time of buying by the top management but till date since 2017 not delivered.

PROSInventory Features specially Inventory generation and Sales and Distribution - Easy to Use and very simple and friendly. POS features.
CONSClosure of Oracle - BI Tool, Web Reports, Etc

Because it gave complete solution by linking all the main components like start from purchase of product till sales of B to B and B to C (Inc. Finance and Online Platforms in it)

Ginesys_ethnicity
Base level automation of processes are possible but if we want to take the application to the next level there is a lot of resistance saying that the requested changes are not part of the over all plan/ development calendar.
PROSFast to setup, Back office Well integrated with POS. The System has the rudimentary functionalities that make the use of the system organisation wide.
CONSMost of the integration with other systems like WMS/ Vendor Portal/ Analytics/ Ecommerce have to be built and are charged separately. The Development cycles are also not very fast including Vendor portal which is a invested application. The Development on POS is next to impossible - feature that shoudl be configurable are supposed to be development.

None of issues has been addressed by ginesys toolso far.
PROSReport features, other functions also which is usefull some time but most of the time what's ever requirements we shared with team they says most of the time features not available in currently in system

overall a very good experience
PROSscalability as a full fledge ERP, good structure for retail as Company owned or franchise , also accounting feature.
CONSreports need improvement ,should have some basic pre formed reporting formats.

Feature rich but user friendliness is not so great
It has been reasonable experience. Not so great, not so poor.
PROSBackend ERP is good in terms of feature list.
CONSFront end POS is not very intuitive. It takes too many clicks for one bill to be created.

PROSNPOS at store level is simple and user friendly.
CONSWeb reports is not user friendly, overall reporting tool is very very poor. Basic finance reports are missing and cannot be customized as well. Reports made by our won team is not acceptable to Ginesys team. They want to make the same report on chargeable basis.

Worst software of all.
Support is bad, it takes days to clear a doubt, Reports in this software is like a pain for all. Ginesys does not integrate with other softwares at all..
PROSParallel users option is the best feature of all. There is nothing to like.
CONSReport is bad. Item creation is poor, Duplicating the entries is not there, but even in other software these options exist.
