If you're an agent or manager you need this.
There are so many benefits to this software. It asks all the right questions and allows our artists to know all of the facts about their shows.
PROSI really love how the software integrates with Google Calendar and Google docs. Saves so much work.
CONSSome things are really difficult to configure and I am constantly calling on support to do things that are complicated. And sometimes Gigwell can't do it. There are some features I don't use because I can't figure out how they work.

Great but needs more improvement!
I love being able to put details in there and customize how everyone in the team can view and access it. It does however is expensive, and our clients always complain of hidden charges when they pay using the platform. There are also non-customizable features that I think should be, especially event services and management differ for every company
PROSThe software has all the details we, and the artists need to refer to in terms of venue, rates, timing, etc.
CONSIt's not user friendly for someone who is just starting. It took me 6 months and more to get accustomed to it
Reasons for switching to Gigwell
Tripleseat was for the most part catered for restaurants so a lot of the things there were for tables and reservations. We catered to DJs therefore needed something to support that.

Generally, it takes about 3-5 bookings to become accustomed to the software's features and functionality. We also offer personalized training for new users, as well as biweekly webinars to help users get up to speed quickly. Additionally, we can simplify the feature set for smaller agencies that don't need all of the functionality.

Good for basic features, disappointing for anything else
It's good for a very basic contract experience however other than entering a contract I've outsourced all other features. It's too difficult to use the other features, etc. I wish that it could do a bit more.
PROSEntering a basic contract is simple and it's pretty easy to navigate around the software.
CONSIt's hard to use for any other features. The software also doesn't do currency conversions easily, which is a big problem for my business. Accounting features are too difficult to use. I basically just use it to enter a simple contract that I download and send manually, nothing else. For this it's great however would be great if it could do a few more things.

A friend of mine who I trust uses the software and was able to get me a decent review before buying it.

It has been an improvement from Overture, although there are definitely areas for improvement.
PROSI like that I can filter all of my events to quickly gauge which promoters have paid and which ones haven't.
CONSThe querying ability to look back on previous events is very challenging. This could definitely be improved. I want to be able to quickly query past events by artist, city, venue, promoter.

We needed to stay up with the times technologically speaking and have a product that not only aggregates data but also allows for invoicing.

Gigwell Review
Gigwell has been very prompt with their customer service, and in working with us to create new features that meet our needs. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is the best!
PROSThe interface is very clean and easy to navigate. The fact that it is cloud-based software is also a huge plus as it's easy for our remote employees to get set up with. Certain features such as auto ticket count reach out, contract issuing/reminders through Hellosign, the ability to pre-save terms/phrases, infinite filters/data points in searching/creating reports, integration with Google and the artist roster pages are timesavers. The management/artist view (for non-users) is also very efficient and helpful for our teams that use it.
CONSThe fact that Gigwell Track does not integrate with Gigwell Book is frustrating as it creates extra work. The inability to use multiple currencies in one booking (in the example of US artists playing international dates) requires us to use inefficient work-arounds, and is becoming a larger issue as we increase our number of international bookings. All reports are pulled via CSV, but it would be nice to be able to pull any report, at any time as a pdf with our company logo on it, instead of needing a custom template for every type of report (although the Gigwell team has been helpful with creating these templates for us!). Finally, there are a couple deal structures that Gigwell does not have a way of accurately inputting in their system.

Excellent. Staff is terrific in responding to issues and fielding questions. System is easy to use. My issues noted above that would help me streamline for my business.
PROSGigwell has stood out from the beginning for its support. Love the staff! I get responses immediately if something is not working, and they pay attention to my requests for improvements to the product, if it's viable to implement.
CONSNoted above -- would prefer a few more "Roles" feature (Community Engagement, Executive Director). would prefer a date-delineated notepad that augments the Notes feature in Contact files.On itineraries, would like to see "Activities" separated out from "Ground Transportation". My artists often do school visits, or other community engagement, and it muddies the Itinerary to have that grouped with car rentals, etc.
Reason for choosing Gigwell
Price was good for the service. I had also decided to move from desktop based to cloud-based software, which has been great since I can access from any device. Respected colleagues were using it.
Reasons for switching to Gigwell
Artifax stopped supporting its booking software, which it phased out. Just concentrates on event and venue software

Helps us keep everything together. Really acts as a glue to hold things together and driver to push booking forward.
PROSThe integration with google and other software, invoicing and payment features.
CONSThe calendar integration and onboarding of artists was always a little tricky, oftentimes for the artists.

Gigwell Rocks
The staff at Gigwell rock. The customer support specialist is absolutely amazing. He is attentive, patient and always finds a solution to any issue. I just wish they had phone support and 10 more representatives.
PROS*Love that it's web based so that all my team members can utilize the program from their local work locations *Love the itinerary functions *Love that you can issue out receipts for payments posted to buyers *Love that it integrates into google calendars
CONSBecause of its flexibility and enormous power, it seemed a little overwhelming and complicated at first. But once you get an understanding and use it daily, it gets easier.

Antonio & Glade are awesome to work with. They are part of my team to make things happen!
I enjoy the contract management and automation. Saves a lot of time. The invoicing is easy and helps me keep track of payments.
CONSWould like the CRM to be more. Would like to send single invoices not attached to deals. Would like to track merch better. Have a way to send messages to some people on the artist tab instead of all of them.

CONSIt's lack of cross-market functionality. As an Australian company there a few features which would be useful to the Australian market including specific door deal splits, production supplies (as not all promoters provide full backline)

User Friendly with Regular System Improvements
Overall, it serves it's purpose well and I like that we get regular system improvements and
PROSI like that deal cards and contracts are editable in preview. I also like the analytics feature.
CONSThe Book system can't communicate with the Track system. If they could share info, it would save us a lot of time and effort with building ticket count reports. Also, there is no differentiation between Booking Agent/Territorial Agent and Responsible Agent, which makes it difficult to use the dashboard search filter settings to search for shows within a specific agent's roster or pull reports. If we could assign a responsible agent or agents to each Artist, we could filter or pull reports based on that agent's roster as opposed to just shows they booked themselves.It would also be nice to be able to do a flat addition or subtraction from Gross/Adjusted Gross/Net/Walkout in the deal calculations which is not currently possible.

We would be happy to assist you in adding the template to your account. In terms of Booking Agents and Responsible Agents, we have the necessary functionality. You can assign RA's within the Roster management tab on the agency settings page. Furthermore, you can incorporate a flat bonus in the Terms tab or a deduction as an artist expense. Happy with the product only one issue really
Overall the experience is pretty easy. The software makes sense and has a lot of great features. I really appreciate the fast customer support and I enjoy using the software. I think it's really great.
PROSits pretty easy to use, customer support is great.
CONSIt would be great if when inputting promoter expenses, it would actually work correctly. There is a spot to put both the estimated cost and then the final cost and when entering these numbers, they automatically revert to the final cost. It would be great if we could get this feature fixed. it's been flawed for a while now. Also sometimes after muting a radius clause violation it will not go away even it the violation has been cleared.

Gigwell for Talent Buyers
Overall the support has been great. There are many features that seem simple that the product can't do, but more specifically for my business. It's an extremely nice software for booking agencies looking to book a handful of artists, as the focus is artist rich as opposed to venue rich.
PROSGigwell is definitely feature rich, and well thought out for Booking Agents
CONSIt's very cumbersome for my role as a talent buyer booking 15-30 local shows a week for 20+ venues and 50 artists.
Reason for choosing Gigwell
I chose Gigwell because it demoed well. My list of prepared questions were answered, but a couple of them were answered incorrectly leaving me frustrated during and after deployment. But, due to the absence of products for what we do, Gigwell would still be my most recommended solution.

Gigwell top notch
I like the layout and the fictionality of Gigwell. it makes sense and is quick to pick up.
PROSyeah its super easy to use & the customer service is always great if I ever get stuck with anything. Its super fast to contracting & invoice clients. Managing the whole booking process from contracting to advancing is really well organised and easy to use.
CONSId really like there to be a good way of using Gigwell as crm database as well.

Overall Gigwell has been very helpful with staying organized. A system like this is very necessary for a company that looks after over 100 artists. It would be too difficult to keep track of everything otherwise.
PROSI like the multi-functionality and the fact that I can input certain info into templates (contracts and invoices, for example)
CONSSometimes it takes very long to load certain things, or I have to refresh the page a few times in order to get to the page I am trying to get to.

Making bookings easier
Been there from quite early. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and customer service are top notch helping troubleshoot if any issues.
PROSSimple to use, great customer service. Very well thought-out layout and details.
CONSMore than 1 admin/user included would be nice for smaller companies. Start paying for more users if there are 3 or more.

Trying Gig-Well was my first foray into using a booking software and I'm glad I did.
Their customer service is outstanding first and foremost. Secondly, using the basic software for my contracts and invoices has saved so much time in my average day.
CONSI never feel that the search engine is working 100% correctly and there are still some functions that need adding.

Absolutely love it!
Easy to set up profiles. Gigstream that can be customerised for each venue or artist. Roster flows out to everywhere previously set up.
PROSI love that I can very quickly set up a profile and it automatically flows out to the everywhere such website and facebook etc. I love that you listen to our feedback and make updates which make our lives heaps easier.
CONSWould like the gigstream photo to link to the artist profile. Would like to be able to invoice the artist for our 10% commission. This is probably just for the Australian market

Gigwell for Classical Music Management
Positive so far! We're still getting used to it here and have not fully made the switch over yet, but despite a bit of clunkiness here and there, we're warming up to the software and are extremely pleased with their support team.
PROSTheir customer support is truly fantastic. Personalized, open to feedback, quick to assist, just wonderful.
CONSMany features are specialized more for popular music gigs than for classical music concerts and tours. Their team is doing a lot to try to personalize the software for our needs, but there are a few spots where it still gets a bit clunky when we try to include repertoire, concert engagements with multiple performances, etc. It's all there, just not always in the most intuitive way.

Our old software, while great for our needs, hiked its price up a huge amount.

We are delighted!
Would be difficult to run this business without Gigwell
PROSI came from an agency where we used our own (VERY EXPENSIVE!) proprietary software. When I researched several other solutions from around the world and even went through the demos....I decided on Gigwell. I haven't been disappointed. It's been a complete delight from signup to implementation to support....the Gigwell team has been stellar. I can't say enough good things about them and I recommend them to everyone who may have a need for this kind of software.
CONSThere were a couple of features that we would have liked to see in the software, but before we could mention it....Gigwell had already added those features. It's like they could read our minds.

Like having an admin assistant :)
It takes a lot of admin time off my plate By streamlining the contract and payments. I do t have to waste as much time customizing things manually. It was all done up front. Also, as I’m getting it figured out, the team is very quick to respond to questions and help me customize to fully suit my needs.
CONSThe Only drawback for me is the lack of CRM capacity however, it doesn’t claim to have that service.

Excellent Customer Service
Its been mostly great, good customer service, constant webinars, good insight about events in each country which is really helpful.
PROSCustomer Service is really one of the most things we like about the software. Also booking procedures make things a lot more professional on a starup company.
CONSSometime it crashes a little bit and changes seem to take a little extra time to adjust properly.

PROSHis way of doing practical and streamlined work. It has all the necessary tools to carry out bookings and close negotiations with the necessary conditions.
CONSIt was ideal to have direct access to TOUR IQ contacts from Productivity Suite
