life saver

PROS

This app has totally simplified our site survey and photo documentation process. There's a feature similar to zoom that allows you to complete inspections with the input of team members or answer questions of others that may be on an inspection themselves. This takes our collaboration to a new level and avoids critical errors that may take place otherwise. This also helps to avoid re work and makes it more likely that all necessary info is gathered and organized at one shot.

CONS

Ive had a favorable experience and the company has been surprisingly responsive in answering questions which is very important to me

Easy to use and less expensive than other roof sketch reports

PROS

I love the dictation feature so you can label your photos as you are taking them.

CONS

You cannot move multiple photos around at the same time.

Reasons for switching to PHOTO iD

Taking photos in Xactimate mobile take up alot of room and the photo reports are huge. You also have to type in all of the descriptions, so this app saves time.

I would only recommend this app to the patient and tech savy

A fantastic program that desperately needs new developers and a better way to communicate with their tech support staff.

PROS

Automatic photo labeling, annotating and report generation is a massive time saver. The people who answer the phone at their support line are very polite.

CONS

While our bizarre billing issue has been fixed, I continually notice problems with the way this program frequently fails to sync photos, can sometimes lose them entirely, and for some reason can no longer handle a - or / being added to room names, despite one of the preloaded ones being Foyer/Entry. By far the most infuriating is the utter lack of communication from their support department, despite constant assurances of a call back. I am lucky to even get a "we're looking into it" call back from the people who answer.

Reason for choosing PHOTO iD

I probably wouldn't have if I had any alternatives at the time.

Photo iD Customer Service

This is the sole reason I took time out of my day to write a review. Their customer service is at the highest level. The [sensitive content hidden] and their team has went above and beyond to assist me when a problem has came up while using the app. I had made a promise to a big, new customer, that he would have my report on his desk (email) first thing in the morning. Something had went wrong with the app after a big update, I'm not sure if this was a local issue with just me or a global issue, but when I contacted customer support they spent the whole day working with me to make sure that the problem got resolved and that I could keep my promises to my customer. The owner himself has reached out to me to help solve problems and has spent two hours on the phone listening to my feedback and what features and changes that I would like to see. I don't really know but I'm sure I could find an app that was cheaper or might have more features but based on the customer service alone I wouldn't switch. The ability to get immediate help on solving problems and move on with my work load is where I find the biggest value. I'm very impressed by their commitment to making their product the best it can be.

PROS

I like how the app organizes my report and the app itself is customizable to suit the way I want to display the information to my customers.

CONS

I don't like how I cannot move multiple pictures at once in the gallery and that I have to manually upload files to the cloud to prevent running out of space.

Love it. Getting all my adjusters using it this year.

PROS

Love the ease of taking photos and labeling them as I go.Easy move into Xactimate Easy to pull in and out of archives when a claim is reopened. Overall it works very well.

CONS

You must go back and check spelling. It does not always type what you said. Does not show date and time on photograph Not very easy to move photos from one folder to another within the program.

Wanted to be able to describe photos as they were taken.

Hi John, Thank you for your review. We really appreciate your feedback! We are constantly trying to improve the voice to text feature as it tends to work different from iPhone vs Android devices. There is a very easy way to move the photos from one room folder to another. By long-pressing an image within the image gallery of a room category, 4 edit options appear at the bottom of the screen. After that, simply select all the images you want to move and select the 4th icon on the bottom right corner of the screen, which allows you to move all those selected images to the room of your choice. Great for small to mid size companies!

Overall the experience is great, perfect for my set up and company needs.

PROS

I liked that I could be as detailed as necessary for photo uploads along with adding my company profile to each page.

CONS

I don't like that you can only upload 20 photos at a time and it copies them to your camera roll.

It sounds like your taking photos with your phone's camera and uploading the images into PHOTO iD afterwards. The iPhone app has some current restrictions that only allow users to upload 20 images at a time in this scenario, however, the Android version doesn't. I've have our dev team look into the iPhone's upload feature again to see if there may be a way to enable that upload feature. Photo ID is worth it!

My overall experience has been very pleasant.

PROS

Organizing photos live in the field and the team collaboration.

CONS

Trouble with syncing and limited data storage when internet is not available.

PHOTO iD, The future AI we need

I used it once in a while in workflow arrangement but i saw that the app proved to be more efficient and this is how I went on with it but not for a long time, but also long enough to know that it is good.

PROS

The most thing i liked about this app is how flexible it is and how user friendly it is. Due to different tasks that people have in mind, i preferred PHOTO iD because of how easy it is to interact with and you be even surprised of how their prices are.

CONS

I don't feel like something is missing, only just to make an upgrade to what is already here and try to make it more light so that it will not take a lot of space or freeze our devices, but other than that it is a perfect tool!

A great server for inspections

Overall its a solid inspection app. Just needs a some improvement to be perfect.

PROS

Its a dummy proof inspection and creates excellent reports. I utilize this server for insurance restoration and inspections. The low file size reports are easily send to insurance companies, customers, or 3rd parties.

CONS

I hate that the server does not utilize the abilities of my phone camera. Only 2x zoom and no wide angel zoom. I would like to be able to add my own folders for my pictures (i.e. deck, fence, interior by rooms).

Overall interpretation of Photo Id

Very minimal compared to other systems I have worked on but seems to create a workload that all can utilize.

PROS

The system as a whole works for basic reporting as well as more in depth information needed as all work orders vary.

CONS

I believe for what it is I wouldn't add any features in order to be cost effective.
