Super-flexible forms package for WordPress

PROS

Flexibility. The core features are extensive and there is a large selection of add-ons to cover most use cases / add extra functionality very cost-effectively. The quality of the code in the core plugin and official add-ons is really high, with actions/filters for everything. This provides a strong platform for any customisations required.

CONS

It's frustrating that field types can't be changed, e.g. from tick boxes to radios (and vice versa). Instead you have to add a new field and remove the previous one.

Pretty good for Wordpress, but requires way too many add-ons

Works as advertised for basic functions, but it requires too many add-ons. The development of this software also seems very slow compared to competitors that are adding new features all the time.

PROS

Works well with Wordpress. It is very flexible if you are willing to pay more for add-ons. The best forms plugin for Wordpress that is available in terms of pricing and features.

CONS

I hate that you have to purchase a number of additional add-ons in order to make the product do what is required. The add-ons are mostly created by 3rd parties, not all of whom are easy to judge in terms of credibility, safety and reliability. The features included in the main product (without add-ons) is weak compared to non-Wordpress focused competitors.

Reason for choosing Gravity Forms

Seemed to be the best native builder for Wordpress.

Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms

Needed something with better conditional logic and customization options.

A Contending WordPress Form Builder

Gravity forms is a good WordPress plugin no doubt, because it was part of my learning curve while building with WordPress. But I'd wish they work on their UI to give users better usage experiences.

PROS

Gravity forms has great logical features that can allow you to build form applications that can meet the need of any project. Another good thing is it's multi-page feature that brings down long forms into smaller pieces and bits.

CONS

Gravity forms plugin has a very uninviting user interface. Dull colours and unfriendly styling. Most times I have to struggle to see what is written as notifications and alerts when filling out the form.

Flexible Wordpress Forms

The tool is complete, from API integration, custom forms, third party integrations, and even the templated forms does have a very good features by default.

PROS

Gravity forms is a good plugin for Wordpress, it is easy to use when you want to integrate it to other softwares and enabling APIs.

CONS

The only limitation that we experienced in Gravity Forms was the fields IDs, hopefully in the future they can make the fields IDs to be flexible and customisable.

Reason for choosing Gravity Forms

Gravity forms have the feature that we need(API and Third Party integration) compared to WPForms

Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms

Because of the API integration

Spoiled by Formidable Forms, Gravity is price gouging for very limited features compartively

Totally unimpressed over all. Shocked at the price tag and underwhelmed with its abilities.

PROS

You can use it to accept payments - I think there's a Stripe integration and some other integrations that I haven't needed. The admin of the form builder is relatively intuitive.

CONS

I seriously didn't realize until going to use Gravity on an "adopted" website how much better Formidable Forms is than Gravity forms. What lead to my review today - I create calendars all the time with Formidable forms. You cannot do that with Gravity Forms, not even with the $500/yr Elite license. Seriously!? Their only option is a 3rd party add-on that's another $49/site/year!! That's insane. for "the best" form builder, you'd think you could make a booking form with it.

Reason for choosing Gravity Forms

I didn't. I inherited the sites from another designer who used Gravity for everything.
