What I like most is how powerful it is when it comes to moving between revisions. Even in huge projects, it is not difficult to revert back to and older, or newer, version of your project.

Perforce is great, when you master it. It becomes a very powerful and useful tool once you know how to use it.

It's amazing to use Helix Visual Client (P4V)  on different OS platform with similar user experience, really like  perforce's strong notion of a changelist.

I like that it is easy to understand who has certain documents checked out. The work space is easy to define and use.

I have had errors when recovering the P4 server, and in the end skipped the update, waited for the next release, which recovered without errors.

Installing updates or recover the database (we had a server with a defect HDD) is for me a kind of avoiding thing.

I had a hard time install p4 command line version in Ubuntu 14. Https://www.perforce.com/downloads/helix-command-line-client-p4.

I dislike how when you switch computers it is difficult to keep the documents check out. I got a new computer and I had to contact the admin to release some documents that I had checked out.

Easy to use, has most common features intuitive. I like most the revision graph that assists in finding the history of a file.

It was so good very user friendly, especially features like label and conflicts tracking. Checkin and checkout features are awesome.

I get sometimes unwanted changes also merged when automatic merge is on.

Helix is used in the main big studios to share files in a project. And is very important to learn and understand well this software before working in the industry.

I also like the ability to regenerate test runs.

While Helix Core allows for integration with other applications, it has remained true to being first and foremost a world-class source control management tool.

Excellent control at file level, easy tracing of history, multi-platform support, good UI interface.

I love properties of perforce like finding differences, merging, code review capabilities and UI.

Perforce is the perfect software if you want to work with a team remotely on the same project. In video game development, you could have 500 people working on the same game at the same time.

Sometimes something will go wrong with a check-in and your files will get locked. Eclipse requires restart to reconnect to eclipse plugin.

It hanged during a demo which made the demo totally useless. Because of this issue getting difficult to work with only solution seem to be is to kill and restart application.

Perforce is used in a lot and studios and also used in many 3D animation school. You can share large document/ modify them and post them back in the project.

Merge and Integrate feature - it is must for teams working in multiple iterations of code. Very easy and intuitive look and feel.

I like this soft, especially when you can cut your movie inside with the XSplit Express Video Editor integrate with it.

I like the ability to record/save/capture computer video and audio.

It does not work, save your money and get something that actually does as described, this unfortunately does not.

Overall, XSplit is one of the top recording/streaming programs out there and I use it for both due to the easy setups and great technical support.

I believe due to the configuration on the computer the video had a terrible latency issue. We were using it to stream to facebook, and it was about 10-15 secs behind.

In total the program is great for beginners and is very easy to use.

It costs too much, and causes performance difficulties on some games.

What I like the most is the possibility it has of transmitting through various social networks at the same time. It also has good scene transition functions that give your videos a nice design touch.

It also features integrated media and editing controls. Media can easily be added to XSplit without adding another source.

I used to use it for internal tutorials, but because of the lack of keystrokes, I moved to another tool.

I put a green screen behind me and i can make a chromakeying quickly to put a picture for illustrate all my said during my live, wonderful.

It's easy to use and makes live streaming very easy as well. It can directly connect with multiple websites and can help in easy streaming.

I love how easy to use it is, and that it can easily detect all my devices quickly. I love the detail in scene editing it allows me.

Very high frame drop happens when the network speed drops.

I wish there was more functionality or templates available - but this could also be a disadvantage as it would remove the simplicity of the software.

The missing features that users have to pay for may discourage newcomers.

I Love this software because it is very easy to use and easy to install. It provides high quality streams in less cpu and gpu power consumption.

My overall with XSplit is unfortunately a bit disappointing.

For those of you who just want to stream and go xsplit is a great software and I would recommend it for you.

The biggest problem I have with XSplit is that it causes major slowdown in my games. That is a significant problem considering the use of this program.

Good and Easy to Use Software, But Not Without Competition.

The install was smooth, my camera was detected properly on first try, and it does a great job of finding the subject in the foreground. Great for home users -only.

Having to pay monthly to use the software was annoying so i decided to buy the  lifetime pass.

It can handle 2k and 4k recordings  without hiccups and with a small file size. Video quality is fantastic.

A great piece of software that I would recommend particularly to livestreamers.

I am not sure that there are many cons to this software.

Xsplit is a good and functional piece of software. If there are features that Xsplit has that other competitors lack, then it will make up for its price-tag through those features.

I think PC gaming has gotten Beyond xsplit and you should look elsewhere. They also have poor customer service and do not give refunds if you are dissatisfied with the product.

The software is lightweight and stable - absolutely necessary for professional streaming. The learning curve takes all of 5 minutes and basic functionality is built in.

It's been great even though I have moved away, their free webcam phone link tool is amazing and a great free value for everyone.

The new V-cam feature is pretty cool and multistream being built-in is pretty helpful, not having to use extra products.
