Works great on Macs
I've used the other app from Techinline for about 2 years. The only issue I had was not being able to run it on macOS and connect to Macs. I signed up to try SetMe because of macOS support, but found a few other things I like. Overall, seems to be a good product and they’ve announced some other new features that will be added to it soon.
PROSIt's nice being able to finally have the app installed on my Macbook Pro instead of running it in a virtual machine and remote into field test engineers' computers. File transfer between Windows and Mac is very fast, works great even when you drag and drop large files or archives between computers. The reboot and reconnect features have been improved, and I also like having a variety of settings that allow me to choose how I want to see and control the remote desktop.
CONSPrice could be lower, but seems to reflect the market. Looking forward to the unattended access functionality which I'm told is expected to be released soon.

SetMe is the way to go
If you are looking for an easy to use, low cost, full featured, very well supported remote control and support software that handles both Windows and Apple products than this is the way to go in my option. Constantly updated and worked on by the company it is feature rich and a solid support tool. Very happy with it and I have been using it since the FixMe days.
CONSRight now the only con I have with the software is I am not a fan of the control panel colors scheme. I wish I could change it away from the pastel look. LOL. Seriously. I do not have any other complaints.
Reasons for switching to SetMe
It's the same company and after beta testing SetMe they offered a discount for being a FixMe customer that was too good to pass up. Since then the improvements and changes to SetMe have made it an indispensable tool.

SetMe Review
Very positive. It's a logical progression and improvement over their previous FixMe. Deployment is easy, connections are very quick. They are continually adding features, and their support is first-rate. I would highly recommend Set.Me.
PROSBuilt upon their previous FixMe.IT software. The new software is clean, easy to deploy and reliable, as was FixMe. This is by far the easiest Remote software I've ever used
CONSCost - dramatic increase over FixMe.IT - several times the cost. Still decent value considering the ease of use

Great Product!!
Ease of use. I have an environment where both Windows & Mac is used. My Mac clients are way to work with and my Windows clients are easy to work with.

Reasons for switching to SetMe
The product was cumbersome and difficult to work with especially for Mac clients. The Mac client was very difficult to configure.

The Success with SetMe
I appreciate having access to macOS machines from a company we trust and highly value, Techline. In perfect timing, this product became available when we needed to white-glove a few projects with our macOS fleet. The road map they provide shows an encouraging and tentative timeline for implemented features. We look forward to the unattended access, session transferring between our team, and branding/customization!
CONSIt's a new product, so with that comes bugs. But customer support has been exceptional (shoutout to [sensitive content hidden]) in responding to issues, so we are thankful for this product.
Reasons for switching to SetMe
We used the control permissions from Zoom and Teams for our macOS support when the pandemic hit and it was clunky at best. Being able to use an app that is built out for macOS remote support was an absolute game changer.
