Frankli Review
As we fully embrace our Hybrid model where our teams will work from home more often than in the office Frankli has now become more critical for us. Having clearly defined goals that are aligned to the business goals and ensuring there are monthly check-ins with your manager are key to keeping our teams engaged and keeping a focus on the key things we need to prioritise. We have no problem coming up with good ideas but implementation has always been a challenge, Frankli keeps us on top of the key issues in the business ie the agreed goals.
PROSEnsuring we have a system that 1. Provides clear goals for all staff. 2. Aligns individual goals with organisations goals (really powerful) 3. Ensure regular one to one between all colleagues and their manager 4. CONSWe probably tried to run too many of the features initially, we launched the Goal setting, performance appraisal and 360 Degree feedback in one and were not ready internally for all that change. In all honesty that was a reflection on us not managing the change process correctly and was not a fault of the software. My advice would be to start with one feature at a time and roll our other elements in time.

Already seeing the benefits!
We have recently brought Frankli into our business with the over arching objective that Frankli will help us ensure consistency of the employee experience across our teams. We are yet to roll out all the features but the feedback so far has been really positive. Managers are loving the 1:1 feature especially with clear agendas/talking points and being able to note actions to follow up on. Our employees are loving how easy the platform is to use and being able to have clear goals and visibility over progress. With this product there will be no surprises when it comes to reviews which is a win for both managers and their reports.
PROSThe user experience is great. Frankli is easy to use and very user friendly. So far we are finding a lot of benefit in the 1:1 functionality especially being able to load default agendas/talking points to ensure that all managers are following a consistent agenda. This is also the first time we as a business have had clear OKR's for our staff. We love that we can load company goals and then cascade these down to a team and individual level. This motivates staff to know their impact on the business and how their contribution is helping the business achieve its goals.
CONSWe would love to be able to customise some of the features a bit more. Including frequency of 1:1's ie, bi/tri-weekly, bi/-monthly, and have more than one 1:1 scheduled with an individual. Also with OKR's being able to have a goal manager as well as a goal owner, this is to allow managers to update/edit goals without having to be goal owner on all their reports goals. We would also love more integration with google such as ability to book meeting rooms through google calendar for 1:1's, ability to see if someone declines a 1:1 calendar invite, link to google docs/sheets for career roadmaps, employee docs etc
Reason for choosing Frankli
User Experience, confidence in the ongoing support from Frankli, had the key features we were looking for, customisable language, price point.

Sl controls operations

I recommend this platform
Overall, Frankli is a great engagement tool. We use it as part of our onboarding process; our cadence of monthly one to ones between manager and employee; our company goals waterfall to every employee; it manages our performance review process; and we also utilise the Praise function. It has great functionality, and is easy to use.
PROSIt's ease of use - very intuitive from first use. Easy to find others within the organisation - the org chart function is very useful, particularly to new employees. Really like the Praise function - it is used organically in our organisation. We use it for monthly one to ones - the recently improvement to the scheduling function has enhanced this. Also good compared to other tools I've used in the past for performance review process.
CONSFurther enhancement of the scheduling function to allow the user to set up a teams meeting would be very beneficial. Ability to organise, or filter, OKR's while in one-to-one view would be helpful.

Our experience with the Frankli has been fantastic. The support of the Frankli team and their excellent articles has really helped develop our understanding of OKRs and enhance our approach to performance and learning & development based on global trends and best practice.
PROSFor a business which is growing at a rapid rate, the development of our people and supporting our team leaders in helping that development is a really important to us. Frankli’s platform has helped us having meaningful conversations around performance, development and ambitions.
CONSFor the less experienced team leaders, the array of options could be a little overwhelming. However, Frankli guided us in phasing in the rollout which really helped us to improve our early adoption.

SL Controls
Excellent product that has greatly increased SL Controls employee engagement. The feedback from the staff has been extremely positive. Frankli has allowed SL Controls to achieve purpose through engagement throughout the company facilitating company performance and company strategy realisation.
PROSThe ease of use of the system, how it looks and feels, OKR setting and tracking, Praise functionality
CONSNo but the character entry and the ability to save and review notes from previous meetings is difficult during current 1:1 meetings. Shared notes is a bit pointless in the overall scheme of the 1:1 process.

The system was very one dimensional and not user interactive or user friendly

All goals and reviews and one to ones now finally in one place for all to access.
PROSThe features i use most are the Goals in Frankli for my team and I and secondly the Review section .
CONSI Dont like the way other people in organisation can tag your goals and therefore be part of them.

Great, easy, simple to use, and super approachable for the whole team.
PROSIntuitive, and easy to use. Really approachable for the whole team.
CONSGiven the product is still quite new everyone in a while there will be a funny UX constraint that the product team may not have got to. Every time we have raised these with the Frankli team though the issue has been resolved in a week or less.

Great people mgmt software

Great for 1:1's
Managing my 1:1 meetings is so easy through Frankli. Setting goals and keeping track of them is great.
CONSMaybe the fact that there's so much in it and I am not totally familiar with all the features yet.
