Job Adder is a market leader
Job Adder is a great system that is constantly striving to be better than it was yesterday. With a finger on the pulse of what recruiters need, this software likes to stay ahead of the game. The support team are quick to respond even in NZ timezone timeframes. Overall I love the system and wont be changing anytime soon. I've used this software for over 6 years now. The how to videos and software update videos are fantastic for time poor people that need to stay up to date making use of the upgraded features.
CONSThe only con I can think of is the interface for my website wasn't customizable enough to fit the style. Therefore I post my job ads manually to my website which isn't great. I wanted to be able to have a picture and a certain font to fit my brand, but the options were too limited and the overall layout wasn't a fit.

Applicant Tracking System review
The JobAdder ATS itself is quite user friendly and straightforward and looks clean and seems effective for our day to day applicant and candidate tracking, client management, and record keeping. So that's great. It is just the severe limitations we have with TimeAdder, which is conceptually a simple system and most of our candidates and clients use it with ease, but from a manager/administrator perspective, we can't troubleshoot (ie, reset a password, edit a timesheet, create a timesheet for a contractor, turn email reminders on or off, etc.) and it renders us helpless and JobAdder customer support either can't do anything or is perplexed by whatever the issue is.
PROSJobAdder is quite user friendly and easy to navigate. Lots of customizable options for the most part. Easy to add candidates to a job order, tracking applicants, input notes, maintain important information, keep records of placements, etc.
CONSWhat we are struggling with the most is having a little more administrative power to resolve issues. We used the TimeAdder app for example, which doesn't communicate well with JobAdder and is very rigid in its options to customize or turn things on and off. And JobAdder seems to be very sluggish on making improvements. Administrators should be able to be the ones to send reset password emails at any time and not rely on JobAdder to communicate with TimeAdder and "hope and pray" that it goes through. We need to be able to turn on and off reminder emails for clients (who are getting pissed off at us when they suddenly turn back on and hound their inboxes with reminders). Administrators need to be able to create or edit a timesheet from the management interface for a temp who isn't as tech savvy and can't figure it out. I could go on and on. We've had a nightmare with temp placements and timesheets.

We loved the look and the ease of navigating, and we thought we were going to love TimeAdder, but that part has been a disappointment. TimeAdder looked so easy and simple, which is what we want for our contractors and clients, but when there are issues, we are restricted in what we can manage. Sometimes we have to create our own manual timesheet to go around TimeAdder issues, which is not what we should have to resort to.
Reasons for switching to JobAdder
The system we used through Bullhorn was painfully slow and clunky and hard to navigate, with far too many steps for each function.

Great applicant tracker but workflow could do with improvement
Jobadder makes the applicant tracking process easy to manage if you use job boards such as Seek (who are a part-owner of Jobadder). Being able to access candidates from anywhere via this cloud based tool is great. The resume search tool is also good and the system is relatively fast given it's cloud based.
CONSWhilst this is a slick tool, Jobadder still has a way to go in terms of being a total workflow management tool and it is quite clear that it started life as an applicant tracking tool rather than a recruitment database. If you value a database where all email correspondence is linked to clients / candidates then this one is not for you. There is no seamless link between your email client and jobadder meaning you have to manually upload emails to the database (sent and received) from google or outlook 365. Furthermore this is something they (jobadder developers) do not see as valuable. For some people this is a non-issue but for me, I like to keep an audit trail of all client correspondence and easily be able to access it and ensure if needed it has a time and date stamp and can easily forward this email to a client (usual issues such as re-sending terms of business and the usual issues a recruitment firm faces around the timing of candidate submissions etc. Furthermore there is no ability to undertake a text search on notes / emails that you do manually upload into the system. The float functionality is very geared towards low-value recruitment, utilising a tool whereby the client clicks a hyperlink which goes to a jump page which you have no control over the look and feel of. From a workflow perspective, being able to update candidate skills, employment details, add notes etc is a little hit and miss. I have voiced these concerns but get the feeling their priority is to continually add smaller job boards to the platform than continue to improve workflow and functionality. It's a real pity as they are ALMOST there in terms of having a really awesome tool! For now we will stick with them but here's hoping I can change my 6 to a 10!

Great Software - Can't get anyone on the phone to help?
Excellent, except for being able to call someone and get assistance
PROSThis software is brilliant for all things recruitment.
CONSI used this software for 2 years about 3 years ago and it changed the business I was working for in so many positive ways. You used to very easily be able to get someone on the phone for support but now, no one even picks up the phone! Every time I call the support team, I have to leave a message and it is just radio silence. One of the best softwares on the market but I am completed baffled at how hard it is to get someone on the phone. I'm sure their messaging support is good but I don't want to shoot 100 messages back and forth to get information on something that would take 5 minutes over the phone.

Because it is suited our needs better. I also thought that I would be able to get someone on the phone for assistance. if I had known that you can't get support over the phone I would have chosen Bullhorn

An excellent choice for most recruitment agencies
It's been a positive experience - we like using the software and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
PROSThe product has vastly improved our levels of efficiency and rate of work; functionality is strong and well thought out - the support team are helpful and proactive at all times. A number of highly useful integration features are available, with new ones being constantly rolled out. A wide range of reports, including customisable ones are on offer.
CONSWhilst the UI is generally very good, sometimes there are a lot of extra clicks needed and a few further improvements in the user experience could make the product even better to use.

We Love Job Adder
The people that we engage with at Job Adder are exceptional. They offer hands on support and are an absolute pleasure to deal with. They have a great approach to client service and their Helpdesk is efficient and effective.
PROSEase of Use, Ample Integrations available for automation, candidate experience and hiring manager portal features are great. Integration to GSuite and social pages. User friendly and implementation is easy and cost effective.
CONSThe basic recruitment dashboard could be enhanced. Multiple Currency Reporting and Locations should be improved to cater for global recruitment agencies with branches in multiple countries.

Integrations, Account Managers were knowledgeable and enterprise pricing offering. Other solutions were per user pricing and as a start up we needed flexibility to scale in a cost effective way.

Get your time back!
Great - we have our team using it and everyone is on the same page, great for candidate management and helps to save time!
PROSAd scheduling & being able to post on multiple platforms at once has been a major game changer for us. Being able to get a ton of time back not having to post ad's at random times during the week on all different platforms - can now do it all at once!
CONSI am unable to easily see when first looking at the candidate profile which platform they applied to the ad, I need to dig to get the info.

Great for small businesses, does not scale well at an affordable cost
It was fairly easy to use, however, there were many additional "basic" requirements that weren't available on the basic platform.
PROSJobAdder's workflows assisted us in defining and refining our hiring processes. It was simple to use.
CONSI was unable to collaborate with my hiring teams directly on the system. I could not give the hiring managers access to the platform.

JobAdder Business Owner and User Feedback
Peace of mind that I have all information captured for current and future reference and relative to security and privacy requirements. My IT provider hosts the data in their data center also.
PROSThe total end-to-end capture of processes and data relative to candidate and client management and associated relationship development and retention.
CONSI manually transfer a range of comprehensive documents from Office 365 to JobAdder at the end of a project /process. This may not be a real issue though. I may be able to access a tutorial or technology to automate this.

I used it with my last employer and found it to be overall excellent as compared to what were using, e.g Sales Force and FastTrack.

Excellent recruiting software, easy to use, very functional and lots of customisation available
I have customised it so I can recruit really efficiently.
PROSfeatures easy to use, easy to see candidates in a list OR individual files, can open links always in a new tab, its very very smooth to use and very nice to look at, Makes me motivated to work!
CONSsome small areas don't talk to other areas, I really need some changes made so the system can be more well rounded. I also have a glitch in my system so you cant amend activity sheets without calling on JA support.In placements, you cant email / SMS both candidate and clients from the placement tabs, this can be annoying as it is not synced up with similar functions.

The Best Recruitment Software
I use to use Salesforce and Target Recruit and I had to employ a database administrator to help with the backend. Jobadder allows even us non technical people to use it efficiently.
PROSHas almost everything you need to run a recruitment agency and it doesn't tie you in to yearly contracts. The support team is amazing.
CONSI can't see my team's weekly interviews with candidates and clients.
Reasons for switching to JobAdder
Salesforce needed yearly licences and a database administrator. Those costs were too high for a start up agency.

JobAdder is a great tool for Recruitment Teams
I enjoyed using Job Adder for recruitment, but it did take some time to set up for our companies uses. Customer support was helpful at times, but at other times, they seemed to deny that there was really a problem or take days to solve a problem or answer questions about things like whether our emails were getting through, etc.
PROSI liked the way the candidate profiles were organized, being able to pull a list of candidates and view the profiles in a side window and mark them for communication. I liked the organization of the app.
CONSI felt that the system of tagging candidates for certain skillsets or degrees, etc was a bit more difficult than the use of tags which I like. I did not like that you couldn't make some changes in a job requisition such as ownership, or job title without losing some information within.

Good Applicant Tracking System
Very easy to track candidates, create company and candidate profiles. User friendly. Highly recommend JobAdder.

JobAdder is great and really helpful. It really allows you to do recruitment so easily. Quite a tool for adding value and amazing experience to all the candidates.

Love the fact that the app is built and configured for mobile devices not just the PC version re-sized or re-hashed. This makes it great for accessing info on the move. As well as being very functional its obvious that some thought and effort has gone into the front end which does make for painless experience.
PROSThe support team at Jobadder are amazing. They answer the phone in 2 rings and if they dont have an immediate answer will be back in touch very quickly with a solution. Generally tho I dont use their support too much as the product is very intuitive.
CONSThis app provides a read only version of your database which is perfect for me as that is what I require when out and about. Of course you can log onto the full site to make edits etc.

Great for getting organized
Overall great if you're looking for your first program and want to get everything under one roof.
PROSThis software program has all of the basics that you need to get everything under one roof. Great way to get organized and keep you team updated. User-friendly and pretty easy to pick up on. We're a few weeks in, but we're happy we went with this program so far. The client portal is really nice!!
CONSGetting everything up and going is a bit of a hassle-- there's lots of tips and great customer service, but you have to figure out what you all need and set it up yourself. The outlook add-in doesn't work if your emails are through Live, and their application form and text system could use a bit more work to be the most user-friendly. But overall a great system.

Jobadder - VMS
Basis job add publication and submission, I have subscribed for ATS and VMS. ATS looked good with usable functions and have no complaints.
CONSLacked basic functionality required for any VMS. - Cannot capture candidate email/phone details - Does not support decimals on amount/fee fields - No edit option for the vendor to make any corrections or updates to the submissions - Rates submitted by one vendor/agencies for candidates is visible for all other vendors/agencies - Any updates on the status of the candidate on ATS is not updated back on VMS I am absolutely unhappy with my decision to go with jobadder and I will recommend that you clearly evaluate before you signup.
