MYCOI Review

MYCOI sends notifications to insurance agent and/or vendor depending on the vendors preference. The reports are important to know who is compliant and who is not.

PROS

I use MYCOI on a daily basis. I use it to set up a new vendor as well as using it for tracking purposes.

CONS

If I had to list a reason it would be sometimes it takes longer for a COI to be reviewed once a revision has been uploaded. However I do reach out to my direct contract to have an expedited review.

Great. Support is top notch and they are putting resources to improve the product and service

It makes me scalable. I do not have the resources to manage thousands of COI’s and endorsements

CONS

Bulk downloading documents in the cert Management is not usable. We need to search by document type and export pdf’s that have meaningful titles. Currently there is no way to search for just COI’s and the. Further narrow it down by line of coverage. So when I need to Download 50 COI’s for a legal requirement, it takes us days

MyCOI has been a fantastic partner for our company. With frequent meetings with our dedicated account manager, ongoing communication, and the ability to customize our insurance needs with precision, we've seen exceptional outcomes throughout our portfolio. The customization of insurance requirements is a bit lacking and could use an update. The massive number of ways to do things can cause problems for newer users.

Partnering With myCOI Has Been A Major Success

myCOI has taken most of the burden off my administrators in dealing with insurance matters. We have find great gains in efficiency and improved our overall insurance compliance across both our prime and sub-tier subcontractors.

PROS

myCOI has amazing customer support. Our account representative meets with us quarterly to keep up-to-date on how our group is feeling about utilizing the system and interfaces with us day-to-day, as needed, to address any issues we encounter with agent notes, reviews, etc. It has been an incredibly efficient and beneficial relationship since day 1.

CONS

I have no major complaints. Insurance review is a time consuming and sometimes mind numbing experience. You cannot accomplish it without a human interaction and the complexities of insurance make only make it easier to highlight our fallibilities because so much changes so quickly. It happens to them when they review and it happens to us when review. We partner to get past any issues that arise. Some times it takes longer than others, but honestly there are moments where it cannot be avoided and myCOI is very upfront about addressing those times.

OUTSTANDING!! In my opinion, this has been the best program I've had the pleasure of using. From all the services provided within the program and the exceptional customer service, this has made my job duties very manageable. I cannot say enough good things about this program. I highly recommend it!

PROS

I can't express enough how much I like the program. In the short amount of time I've been using this software, I've had a great client experience. One of my favorite items is myCOI symcs with Procore. We are currently using Procore for our project needs. By myCOI integrating with Procore, any of our staff with access to a specific project may see the insurance notes from myCOI. This informaton includes compliant status, expiration dates, and additional information requested, if needed. This service is crucial for our field staff.

CONS

Cons... I really cannot think of anything. I truly have had a great client experience! I wish other companies provided exceptional customer service as myCOI.

My experience with myCOI has been positive. The support from the myCOI team is excellent as they are very quick to respond [sensitive content hidden] has been a pleasure to work with as she is very helpful in answering any questions that we have. Also, i often email [sensitive content hidden] from the myCOI support team and he is very helpful in responsding as there are times in which we request to expedite the review of a particular insurance certificate and he accomodates the request promptly.

PROS

Having one place for our customers to upload their insurance certificate makes tracking insurance certificates much easier. We use to internally file and collect insurance certificates from customers and it was a challenge to collect all of that paper and to effectively track the insuarnce certificates.

CONS

Once you become comforatble using myCOI, the platform is rather easy to navigate through and use.

Strongly recommend myCOI

myCOI has helped our company go from drowning in unreviewed cois to getting our insurance review under control. [sensitive content hidden]. has been an amazing support and resource, and helped us to navigate the Essentials program, later transitioning to Concierge service as the workload was more than our team was able to manage. The beauty of this platform is that it provides a single, central hub for clients, agents and vendors to access, update and communicate. Every myCOI team member with whom I have worked has provided excellent service, been pleasant, knowledgeable, and provided quick response times. The quarterly meetings are beneficial to recap what is going well, where we need to improve and have questions answered. I highly recommend myCOI.

PROS

The best part of myCOI is their staff. [sensitive content hidden] is a powerhouse and has been a wonderful resource. She has willingly answered all questions, and if she doesn't have the answer, will find out. myCOI is a great platform and well organized. Everything is straightforward and easy to understand. This platform has truly been a lifesaver for our company.

CONS

The biggest challenge with myCOI was getting all vendors, agents and some of our long-time employees on board because it is a change. Once they understood how simple it is to upload, communicate with myCOI and became familiar with the portal, it soon became more readily accepted by all.

Easy to Use

When I was hired at my company we had just gotten this product. Thankfully I was able to work directly with my Customer Experience leader to get caught up to speed and she helped me work through the daily use of this product.

PROS

The portal is user friendly and allows me to quickly see which vendor are compliant. ALSO it allows me to see overall the Compliance of all of my vendors in the dashboard.

CONS

I am not sure that there is anything that can be done - however it is frustrating when I get kicked out of the portal and have to log back in after an amount of time. I am sure that this is a security issue so not sure that anything can change.

VBCPS Review

We now have one central place to track our certificates that can be viewed by anyone in our organization that has been given permission. This helps with contract processing and processing purchase orders as well as organizations renting our schools.

PROS

MyCOI is user-friendly and efficient. The customer service and representatives are very knowledgeable and you can really tell they care.

CONS

I really like the updated version of this program. It shows they are always working to meet their customers needs and make improvements for efficiency.

Essential to our business

Overall, my experience with MyCOI has been great. We have had hiccups, but they have always been addressed immediately to our satisfaction.

PROS

I like that MyCOI allows us to have all of our certificates of insurance in one place along with our compliance data.

CONS

It takes a while for a new user to become acclimated to the software. We have additional training documents to help with transitioning new users to the system.

Reason for choosing myCOI

I went to a conference about three years before we started using MyCOI and received information on the company from a Sales Rep. I held onto that information and discussed the service with the same Sales Rep, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] , again at a different conference shortly before deciding to purchase.

MyCOI Take the Hard Work Out of Insurance Compliance Tracking

Excellent. The time savings has been amazing.

PROS

What I like the most about MyCOI is that they contact the vendors when there are non compliance issues or a COI is about to expire.

CONS

There is no standard COI naming protocol . The insurance information that is downloaded by the vendors is named by the vendors and should be named by MyCOI so it becomes much easier for the client to find COI information

Leave it to the experts

I love the fact that I dont have to be an insurance expert because I am not - so this is HUGE to me. I find that when I reach out the support has been there but I know that has not been everybody's experience. I wish that the reviews were more accurate and timely we have ran into issues when they were complete but they were flagged as not being complete.

Finding the images associated with what I am looking for or what the override request is referencingI wish the which parts are approved vs incomplete were more clear

MyCOI is a very great portal

PROS

MyCOI is a very great portal, a space where to keep organized all our certificate of insurance for our vendors. With the advantage that are online, always accessible and no paper backup is needed.Once you learned how to navigate into the portal and how to use the report tab you will have a world opening to you. In just one place you can access all the vendor information, policy expiration date, non-compliant policy line and see the last date when a document was updated.Our Senior Client Success Manager, [sensitive content hidden], she is always on top of our requests, and she replies promptly.

CONS

The only thing I dislike, is the fact that every time you run a report there is no way to save your favorite setting

Great value, Great Program

I have had the best experience with this product even when I made a huge mistake and erased auto and WC from over 1300 COI's. The customer service team sprang into action to assist me in every way possible. This product keeps me up to date and the staff is wonderful to work with.

PROS

It allows me to keep multiple COI's on file for one vendor and maintain when they expire.

CONS

Too may e-mail requests sent to vendors that they get overwhelmed or upset.

How MyCOI has made our School Division Less Risky!

I like how we meeting quarterly with our Customer Experience Leader ([sensitive content hidden] ) on any new features or if we have any problem areas. I find this extremely helpful.

The ease of use is the most impactful part of the MyCOI program.

I can't think of anything at this time... it meets all of our expectations.

I was the one who researched and demoed different companies and I liked myCOI right away. The demo was professional and thorough, implementation was incredibly easy, communication with account manager/compliance coordinator is great, platform navigation is easy, and time saved is amazing!

Big myCOI Fan!

Super! I truly enjoy working with [sensitive content hidden]

PROS

I like that I don't have to be the one to review and track the insurance because I know very little about it. I like that I can run reports to see where my projects stand and I can easily see what is missing from a vendor's insurance with the notes that are left.

CONS

When running a report and customizing the settings, I wish I could save those settings so I don't have to click them every time I run a report.

COI Tracking and auditing

Guaranteeing that contractors/vendors have the insurance coverage that meets our requirements.Our Customer Leader is excellent at keeping us up to date and available for questions.

PROS

The ease of using the program, easy to upload documents, search and generate reports.

CONS

No cons for MyCOI but it took us a while to gather all the vendor data from different departments within our municipality. Once that was gathered it was a smooth transition.

myCOI review

The product has met our expectations in that it has allowed us to regain some time that was previously spent doing all of the administration of insurance cert requests, reviews and acceptance. With that, we have been able to reallocate resources to more pressing business needs rather than insurance certificate management.

PROS

The software allows for us to have one source for insurance certificates, communications and status for all clients. It gives us the ability to manage the process of review / approval and to have communication done in a standardized and efficient manner.

CONS

While the software is good, it is not super intuitive and, some functionality takes a "ramp up" period in order to be comfortable with all features.

myCOI Review

We switched to myCOI from another insurance tracking system because we were looking for a more involved vendor that could do more for us than just track certificates. We needed help with compliance and having a system that could contact vendors and keep on them until they became compliant with insurance. myCOI does this for us and we have very few non-compliant vendors compared to the number we had in our last system.

PROS

This software is easy to use and navigate. I am able to train my employees to use the system and understand it without much issue.

CONS

Sometime the system is slow when running reports or trying to get to other screens.

myCOI was able to do all of the things we needed it to do where as the other vendors could not.
