I find evolve extremely easy to use. Great for curating content!
Really easy software to use and great for curating content.
PROSI love how you don't need to spend a lot of time designing a course, it's all there ready for you. If you have a course that you need to create quickly, Evolve is the way to go. The way you can select a block that suits the content and easily create it, is great.
CONSSome of the blocks could be improved. I attempted to create a form with the Capture component and found it really difficult. I think this will improve over time as this was a new component. The Evolve staff were very helpful during this process and I really appreciated their efforts to get it working.

Straightforward authoring software
Once you get the hang of using Evolve, it's a good experience!
PROSOverall, Evolve is a straightforward authoring software that makes attractive courses with a variety of different page components. You have a lot of options for how you want to present content (carousel, tabs, accordion, etc.) and it works really well particularly with narrative based trainings. It's straight to the point and allows some flexibility with customization.
CONSIt's not the most intuitive, there are a lot of small aspects that go in to building a course (Create a page then create a block then create a component), that can be a bit tedious and not as user friendly as some competitors. Once you get the hang of it it's fine, but it's not a click-and-go process. I also wish there was a bit more flexibility in smaller things like resizing images in media carousels and as icons, not just using the standard sizing they give you.
