Billhighway makes sure your money gets used for what you need it to
Great! It accomplishes what we need it to and their customer support team is fantastic, helping to resolve all issues promptly.
PROSBillhighway is a great tool that handles most basic financial functions for our organization and our branches. We love that it has robust permissions and approvals built into the software and linked with our CRM that prevent fraud and embezzlement.
CONSFor any organization, optimized use requires intentional thought and experimentation from your team and users, as it's not a one-stop out of the box solution.

I find it easy, but newcomers may want more guidance.
The software is so customizable that it can fit whatever an organization needs. Billhighway is constantly coming up with new tools and features but does so in a way that is extremely beneficial. They always listen to. the user. The representative that I work with is beyond helpful (thank you [SENSITIVE CONTENT]) - always responds in a timely fashion, is personable, and helps me continuously until the issue is resolved. I cannot praise their team enough.
CONSBecause the software is so customizable, I think that can be overwhelming, especially in set-up of an account. I'm not completely familiar with accounting procedures, simply do program management and education, so I don't know what is the best accounting set-up for some features, such as the Chart of Accounts. I think more guidance on "best practices" would be helpful.

I hate everything about Billhighway
The website regularly experiences delays and bugs which can result in trying to submit a load cardrequest and getting it approved into sitting at your laptop watching the screen load for like 20 minutes. Multiple members of my sorority suddenly stopped getting statement emails and somemembers' accounts have been randomly deleted because of the Billhighway policies neither I nor my advisor are able to help with the situation. We are also not able to see who the emails goto so if someone's statements were going to the wrong email we would never know. As an admin in bill highway, I can't see what the page looks like from a member perspective so sometimes whenpeople ask me questions I give them wrong or irrelevant instructions and I have no idea what they are seeing when they look at their account. Sometimes I'll accidentally instruct someone toclick a button that doesn't exist for them and there's no way to figure out if they just can't find it or if their account just doesn't have that function without asking to see someone else'saccount. Almost every member of my sorority finds billhighway difficult to use and I am consistently getting asked to do walk-through with members and there is no tutorial readily availablefor members on the website. The processing fees are also enormous and take up the highest percentage of my chapter's budget
PROSI don't like anything about BillHighway and I am forced to use it
CONSYou can only view member statements and current balances by clicking on specific periods so you can't see how much a member might still owe from all periods they have been in withoutseeing like every member ever put into Billhighway or clicking on a specific member. This makes trying to see how many members still owe money and the total amount they owe an extremelyannoying and time-consuming task. The Billhighway anywhere device is useless. I have never gotten it to work despite following instruction manuals that are also useless. The device has a tapfunction icon on the top but nowhere in the instructions or the website does it say it accepts tap payments like Apple Pay. The instructions say that you can swipe a card or pay by check. Butyou can already accept credit card payment and checks with just the app so what's the benefit of the device? A slightly faster way to accept credit cards, that doesn't justify the price, which issignificantly more expensive than a square reader that can take tap payment. If you accidentally write the wrong amount or try to submit a check in an incorrect category in the Billhighwayanywhere app you can't try to submit that check again instead you have to mail the check in. Billhighway Review
Overall the experience with Billhighway has been good. They have great customer service and are working on new ways to improve the platform. Combining greekbill into Billhihgway will elevate a lot of issues that we are facing and keep everything in one spot which would be fantastic.
PROSReliable and has helped us get a view into how our chapters and house corporations are operating. The support from the BH team is also always great!
CONSHard to customize individual groups but has to be done throughout the platform. ie Chart of accounts or permissions.

Great Partners!
We feel that we have built a true partnership with the team from BillHighway over the course of our project together. From inception to implementation their team has been responsive, and focused on our needs as we worked together to build a custom API for our donations database. It was a pleasure to work with their Development/Implementation team, they put lots of time into making sure that things were functioning as needed, and many times, better than we expected. This is one of the smartest teams I have had the pleasure of working with, and it is apparent in their fresh, innovative problem solving approach. This team was great at looking at the constraints of our pre-existing software and coming up with solutions to give us the functionality that we needed. It was really nice to hear 'let's take this to the team and work on figuring it out' instead of 'that just can't be done'. The results of our collaboration with BillHighway have been beneficial, we have seen a decrease in the amount of time it takes our staff to process gifts and this efficiency reduced our need for seasonal temporary staffing. We now have easily accessible and easily stored images of gifts and gift paperwork integrated into our database, and we have a defined workflow for our bulk gift processing. I would highly recommend BillHighway, we have been very pleased with our project!

Practical and reliable product
Security: Data security is crucial in financial management, and Billhighway typically provides security features to protect sensitive financial information.
PROSThis product and its services have made managing finances, payments, and accounting processes a breeze! An advantage of it is the streamlined financial management. Chapters and auditors work together on budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
CONSMy only wish is for the data to communicate back to our integrated product iMIS faster. Currently it's every morning at 3:00 am so there can be gaps in-between then and the next day.

Comprehensive Financial Management Tool
For over 5 years, the Billhighway financial platform has been a great asset to our chapters for billing and collecting dues from their members, managing their finances, analyzing reports, as well as historical financial record keeping. The National Organization as well as advisors (volunteers who support chapters) have varying degrees of access to see chapter financial activity. This transparency has been invaluable to the organization for chapter support, growth, and financial longevity. Database integration allows for the ease of adding members to their respective chapters. The prepaid card option permits flexible spending without the hassle of reimbursement checks. Using a card reader along with the Billhighway Give app gives chapters the flexibility to accept credit cards for philanthropic fundraising activities and all funds are deposited into the chapter account and automatically coded appropriately. Billhighway's customer service offers personal support over the phone for individuals as well as online on-demand training for chapter officers to teach them how to use the system. Billhighway staff members are also willing to work with our organization to define the best training support methods. This is truly a comprehensive financial management tool.

Top Notch Integrations Team that Really Cares
Our customers needed a solution to properly funnel money around different organizations and suborganizations. To do this right, we needed a partner who could care about the project as if they were the accounting department of the target client. We have worked with many payment gateways providers, but the difference with Bill Highway was their customer service and indepth knowledge of their integrations team.
CONSA lot of hoops to jump through, but I guess this makes sense due to the sensitive nature of the information processed.

Improved financial health and visibility
Kappa Delta Sorority has been partners with Billhighway since 2012. Since transitioning our chapters to its system, we have witnessed a significant improvement in the overall financial health of our chapters. Our chapter administrators and local advisors enjoy being able to view member balances, cash balances and financial reports in real-time. Additionally, our national leadership team members are able to view our chapter Billhighway accounts at any time as they provide oversight and monitor our chapters' activity, spending habits and invoicing. Billhighway has developed a new LMS training tool which allows our chapter administrators and advisors to learn the Billhighway system at their convenience and at their own pace. This new training program has been well received by our chapters. Overall, our partnership with Billhighway has been successful and makes the duties of the financial administrator much easier!

Billhighway has brought together accounting and cash management for our organization in a way that has transformed how our chapters record and account for their member fees. The system has provided consistency and structure to ensure ease of training and use for our 10,000 members across the North America. Unfortunately, our canadian chapters are unable to utilize the system currently. The Billhighway team has been such an asset to our organization throughout a professional, easy and simple IT systems integration and our ongoing support needs. Their team has the experience and processes created to make the technical implementation as smooth as possible.

Billhighway's team from the start of the project to the finish has been above and beyond any other organization we have experienced!
