We had to find an online solution when the pandemic canceled our in-person walk in 2020. Donately was a great solution and allowed us to facilitate our first virtual walk, which we hosted simultaneously around the country.

Setting up a Peer-to-Peer fundraiser takes just 2 minutes and is easy to navigate. We are able to set up campaigns for each of our regions so they can measure how they are doing as a team. Love that you have the option to upgrade/downgrade your subscription, as we only need the software for part of the year.

It would be nice if there was a place for people to sign up to participate (like in a fundraiser walk) without creating their own fundraiser. It's been difficult to keep up with people who give and want to be a part of it but don't necessarily want to manage their own fundraiser. Also, for campaigns, it's great that we can create more than one, but there should be an option to feed up to the larger company tracker. Lastly, some of the reporting could be more detailed, and the amount raised should be easy to capture from one view to another.

This site allows us to easily collect donations for our non-profit organization. We are in the process of exclusively using this site to collect donations in conjunction with Stripe because it is so much better than any other site we have ever used. One con is that donation form codes have to be completely updated on our website, rather than just updating them through Donately and having them automatically update on our site.

Not the best at allowing us to view all donors and donations at once. Sometimes the filtering is really slow. Form codes cannot automatically update on our website and have to be completely replaced after making a change to the form. You can only link one bank account to where the donations to go.

Overall Donately suits its purpose, but it is wanting for some additionally functionality to make it a more robust system.

The advantage of Donately is the simplicity of form builder! While the software is easy to use, it also contains almost all the essential functionality you could want form a donation form. Forms integrate easily into webpages without much hassle. Campaign management usually works well.

The donor reporting and management system is insufficient for most purposes. Integrations are not as robust as they could be for the product. Support can be slow moving.

We use Donately for our donation form on our website and for fundraising campaigns. We have always found it the product very easy to use and functional, and the customer service fantastic.

The customer service is very fast, helpful, and friendly. The basic product is easy to use and has a lot of options that are useful for us. As a small non-profit organization, I appreciate the number of options that we do have using the basic service.

I do wish we had more options for developing the look and feel of campaign landing pages.

It was easy to set up for our team, even for a rookie like myself. I had it easily set up and we started receiving donations almost immediately. The graphs and visuals really helped us to see how we were doing and to see where most of our money was coming from.

As convenient as this is, for us it still does not replace traditional fundraising, a lot of people in our community prefer good old cash donations so this program was not necessarily as useful to us as we had hoped.

Donate.ly lets you accept one-time and recurring donations using an easy to configure platform. Fees are a very reasonable 3-4% depending on your use-case. It's quick to customise a secure page which you can embed on your website. It only supports USD at the moment but look forward to international currencies becoming available.

They are great for setting up a donation page for your nonprofit that only charges a percentage fee.

I would like if they had a bit more functionality for white labeling and inserting into the website. The only way we were able to figure out how to insert the donation form into our wix website was by using a module that imported an html page. This worked fine but still had donately's branding so we had to put a white block over the top of the module to make it truly white labeled. All over it does the job though.

We wish there was greater ability to control features, like to turn off the Donate button on the events' landing page.

We were drawn to Donate.ly because we are rebuilding our online donation and for the volume of expected donations it made a lot of sense. Our backend CRM is salesforce and so we needed to use Zapier to create opportunities and contact records. Bryan Shanaver was quite helpful in getting that set up for us. I want to give features and functionality a 4 but no doubt it will get there with a more advanced recurrent donation logging and foreign currency, a 5 would be non-cash gifts. Make no mistake though it is great value for money, so as they grow I am sure it will be well made. I would recommend it for small to midsize non-profits at its current form.

Great if we can do multi-currency as we are a global org. Also if it can note down it is Xth recurrent donation somehow it can make our backend record keeping better.

It takes the money. It maintains decent records. It hasn't been hacked.

The fees are a little higher than some comparable products and we use them when we can.

When choosing between the different donation portals services out there, Donately is our pick for the following: 1. The giving form you are able to embed on your website has a very clean and simply visual design while many other competitors look clunky. 2a. The percentage fees are the lowest and therefore best you can find on the market. 2b. There is no monthly fee, so you are only charged when you get an actual donation. 3. Donately has a catchy name! ;)

- There needs to be a way to designate to certain campaigns on the giving portal - the donation receipts are really ugly and poorly throughout. They need actual customization. - there needs to be a fundraising progress widget you can customize from donately and embedd in your website.

Reporting is difficult to discern certain info, such as the fee breakdown when integrated with Stripe. We've had to rely on external reporting because Donately's is not accurate on fee allocation, specifically.

The customer support has been fantastic, always offering a solution any setback I face. As an admin, the back end dashboard is easy to use and free of distraction.

I love the ability to have recurring gifts and the process of setting up a campaign is easy. The fact that I can easily link this via Constant Contact, Wordpress, and other applications that we use is also much appreciated.

Our Office Manager has difficulty figuring out someone's actual donation (TO US; after subtracting out Donately fees and other associated costs); We have donors who use both Donately and checks and I don't like that the campaigns only factor in progress toward our goal with what has been received by Donately...feels like we should be able to manually input funds raised toward the overall campaign goal. The formatting for the campaign photo is a nightmare.

Rwanda Children, the nonprofit I serve, has been using Donately for almost two years. Like all nonprofits, we are always on the lookout for ways to stretch or donor's dollars... and Donately has helped us accomplish that. First and foremost, Donately initiated a reduction in their fees charged to nonprofits. This shows me I'm dealing with good-hearted folks! Secondly, they consistently deliver quality service to us by taking great care of our donors. And when our donors have encountered problems (and these have been few and far between) Donately's customer support has been outsanding. Rwanda Children is benefited by our partnership with Donately, and we look forward to that partnership continuing!
