Blip has been easy to set up and run reports from, we don't use all the features as of yet as run a separate payroll system.
PROSQR codes for logging in and work remove the need for physical machines and give flexibility to off site working. Geo fencing works well.
CONSAutomatic clocking in and out of premises through Geo fencing would be handy for staff forgetting. Approving overtime through app could have an instant feature

Our overall experience with Blip is that it is an extremely good feature when it works but can get frustrating for staff when it doesn't
PROSWhen the app works it is very convenient and extremely useful. The feature is good that enables us to log the staffs time in if they forget to log in themselves.
CONSSometimes the feature does not work and therefore becomes very frustrating and time consuming .

DO NOT BUY IF YOU AHVE MORE THAN ONE WORKPLACE - does not do what sales staff promise
Good Geo tag once i spent the hour with each staff member installing app on phone and
PROSGeo lfence and q code is a good feature,
CONSHaving to enter the same information in desktop bright HR and bright app - does not sync Major admin cost and waste of time considering the Whole system is $5000 a year No Training by sales staf to the very large limitations to this ( Blip) Does not log staff out of work area so they are left logged in 24hrs /7 days week Rosters do not allow logging staff into different work places - THEY HAVE TO GUEES WHERE THEY ARE WORKING Cannot attatch Risk assessments that have to be completed in worklplaces in australia wether it is an office or construction site. Major risk of litigation as you cannnot control compliance and have to once again manually check every staff memeber has completed site tasks - no notifications in app or software as was sold to me that this will ease my burdens and help compliance across the company -
Reason for choosing Blip
I was promised it had all the features of serviceM8 and had the backing of insurance if used the system - which cannot do as i am still having to manually compelte as Bright HR & BLIP is not a staff management system it relies on staff to manage themselves
Reasons for switching to Blip
Servicem8 only works on Apple and 80% of staff dont have I was sold this as a complete HR & Safety system, that would complete everything servicem8 does and include all required documents that would be allocated to site and staff/Contractors would have to complete when logging in, it would also log out staff when leaving - This as a all out lie through no training of sales staff

Pretty good, probably good enough for most
They have good pricing and great customer care
CONSThey lack some of the features that we needed.

Good Program
The program itself is pretty easy to understand
CONSIt has some bugs. Sometimes it doesn't clock in and out properly or will randomly clock people out.
