Great benefits with allowing different team leaders to approve requests. The department feature is excellent and provides autonomy and control over ones annual leave.

It's so easy to use for our employees, and so easy to manage as an administrator.

Sometimes the requests do not notify everyone that has been added to the notify list.

Leave Dates has revolutionised the way we that we do our HR. Before, everything was tracked with bits of paper and spreadsheets. It wasn't as transparent as I wanted for employees. Leave Dates has brought in transparency for me, department managers and members of staff, collating information into one clean place .

For me, the best thing about Leave Dates is how easy it has been to set up and port all of my current information over. The clear user interface is so easy to use, even for staff who are less technologically minded and it's brilliant that it has an app.

I'd like it if there was a way of setting up 2 stage approval for leave, for example, an employee could request leave if approved by their manager it would come to me for final sign-off.

The fact that it is free up to 5 employees, easy to use and has good customer service.

I had been using Leavedates for a few years already and I see clear and great improvement over time. Sure there are other options out there for manage leave application; but I do appreciate the modern and wonderful looking UI.

I wish there are option to switch different type of calendar when applying for leave; because sometimes it is a bit tricky to select the actual day in the month on the monthly view.

Our firm was looking for an app that could visually show the location of each team member initially. What we found in LeaveDates was a vacation and leave tracker with approver capabilities and which we now also use to show which staff member is working on which project (lite version of a Gantt chart). Good ye Excel tables thank you LeaveDates! Excellent app and best value I found on a user/month cost basis.

It would be beneficial to be able to calculate the part years with bank holidays taking off the total as I have to work out pro rata and then take off the calculations. Also adding in company wide holidays (Christmas break) could be easier please.

Integrated into our business well, i like the ease of it and can view at a glance by team/dept/overall the company. I like the cupcake for your birthday. Colour coding is important too.

Love the system, we are a Charity with a small amount of people but when I joint there was no holiday authorisation, good recording of holidays taken or what was left to take, they had a very complicated system until I found Leave dates, now its a lot more clearer for all staff and heads a like.

It's really useful to be able to view when employees are on annual leave, taking time off, working remotely or working at events offsite.

It can be difficult to input the different pieces of information sometimes. It would be easier to just click and select the different options rather than having to send requests through each time. It's built for annual leave requests and the other features don't quite fit the mould - but it's getting there!

1. Dashboard where you can see yourself and your peers where they are scheduled and if they are on leave or not.

1.There is no option of putting flexible hours for eg - I shall be working from this much time to this much time. instead I have to put that under Client work schedule.
