Enterprise Architect is a good tool for software design. UML diagrams drawing is easy.

You have to pay a reasonable cost but it worths the price. It is very intuitive but not automatic, you have  to know what are you doing in detail to get a consistent result.

Enterprise Architect is great for documenting how our infrastructure components relate to each other.

Maybe the option for draw, sometimes the cursor can´t move lines on a diagram, and it could be annoying.

Rich web portal interface - easy to deploy. Simple reporting with graphics and dashboards in portal.

Sequence diagram function to draw call flows. Some functions of the sequence diagram is good like pushing down the arrows.

This software is perfect to diagram and has various kind of graphics, the user interface is very intuitive and easy to use.

It's robust and allows to generate collaborative work (this part it's great).

Powerful and feature rich but can be hard to learn.

It's based in the last UML version. Excellent tool for software modeling, includes all the stages from the business modeling to the maintenance.

One of the things that I consider they can improve, is the UI, maybe, giving easy access to more tools from the main window toolbar.

The program needs a complete redesign of the User Interface. It's unfriendly for first uses.

We use EA to generate as-built documentation based on our architecture, which we can view in great detail.

Can be hard for non-modelers to learn how to use.

Did an export and import and I lost my imported file since it overwrites everything. The most stupid thing is it actually writes to the same filename  during importing.

Salesrep once sold the product brought in a trainer who was very rude.

This is the perfect partner to document a software project, we can build almost all the diagrams.

Also, has integration with some development environments that allows code generation. Also provides a wide documentation that is useful when you are using the application on the first times.

Lack of knowledge is the main obstacle to the use of the software and follow the development and using it.

We liked the fact that multiple projects can share information and be linked together as DMS items can be shared. We havn't yet deployed the eQMS module.

Revision representation not compatible to version string used in our company. No diff functionality for changes between two versions.

The software is web based and has a very comprehensive level of functionality.

It's second nature to me now, but at first it took me a while to work it out. Once it clicks, it's a very easily configurable system and I only get stuck on the odd occasion.

The support team are helpful and knowledgeable and they are always ready to help out with any questions that we have, and are receptive to any suggestions for improvements that we might make.

Skipping step by accident and finish others will make the test case to be incomplete.

All-in-one product, Requirement management, Risks, Test management, Traceability, Bugs, etc.

I mainly used it for RISK management, and for  PRD SRS and HRS documents requirements, including traceability to RISK. I also used it for  Customer Complaints handling.

Such a tool is necessary for us to manage traceability from requirements and risks to specifications and verifications. We use it to design our new products and for all upgrades and updates.

After learning the basics of the system use, it becomes a very comfortable platform to manage the quality system.

Qpack is very easy to use and allows rapid implementation. Also, the flexibility to customize the system is a valuable system feature.

Intuitive, quite fast , customable, service & support.

Sometimes it may run slow depending on your internet speed, but here the problem is with the user.

In short, simple tool, yet strong, integrated, so we didnt have to acquire 2 systems, professional and responsive team, and great help in our audits.

I liked most that it is easy to use and implement.
