It's a mixed bag

There are a lot of features on Everest so it's a great way to tackle a bunch of tasks all in one forum.

Unfortunately, the software is outdated so there are some workflow issues that could be streamlined with some updates.

Fairly complete software but too expensive though it has several features

PROS

Everest includes inventory control and CRM options

CONS

Somewhat confusing, the interface and functions could be better designed to streamline various processes to make it more convenient.

Don't consider Everest Software

The software didn't evolve or improve over the 10 years we had it. They charged $15k a year for Platinum service which meant that you could reach someone any time. That was just fiction, it was impossible to get help when the software had a problem. They are a terrible company, steer clear.

PROS

Integrated financial reporting was nice.

CONS

Customer service was non existent, customizations were expensive and broke all of the time. Terrible company to work with.

Reason for choosing Everest

Initially it was not a licensed product, we purchased it. Then they added huge licensing fees later as well as very high support fees and as per above the support was awful.

This is a comprehensive accounting software. Initial buy in is cheap, ongoing costs will bankrupt.

One top product for everything in our business.

PROS

This is a very flexible enterprise program. We used it for inventory, purchasing, sales, accounting, payroll, e-commerce, and more.

CONS

The developers and support team had terrible English. For the amount we were spending on customizations and support, we expected better communication. After the initial buy in, we were nicked and dimes constantly.
