Perfect system for a small event hire company.
Highly recommend! If you are a small business then this is the system for you. No nasty hidden add ons to get what you need. It's all in one cost effective price. Their communication and ongoing upgrades to cater for the ever changing market of the hire industry is vital and appreciated.
PROSWe have been with Viberent for over 6 years and have been really happy. Unlike other hire systems where you could wait days for a help or enquiry response, Viberents communications are within minutes. They are always open to feedback with improvements and so accommodating with helping when needed. The customer service is 10+
CONSWe have a few issues with deposits and how it feeds through to our accounting system but this is more due to the nature of our business structure than the layout of Viberents system.

Australia's first cloud based Hire Company
Overall Valiant are very happy with the final product.
PROSValiant undertook a 2 year journey with Viberent to customise their software to suit Valiant. The pros with the software is that it is built for Valiant by Valiant and Viberent. We are now Australia's first cloud based hire company. Currently saving 83,000 sheets of printing per year is a huge achievement for us and something we are very proud of!
CONSWe are not software developers nor have we undertaken a project of this size previously. It required an enormous amount of work from Valiant internally, this is something we underestimated. We are grateful for being involved though as it helped allow Valiant the ability to work with Viberent to ensure that the software was fit for purpose.
Reason for choosing Viberent
The two other software providers had plans to update their software to go to the cloud, but the timeline could not work for us.
Reasons for switching to Viberent
Baseplan could not offer Valiant the ability to go to the cloud and become Australia's first paperless Hire company.

A sad customer...
No the best - Rude and the software is incredibly glichy and it is not our internet as mentioned before!
PROSThis software already existed with the purchase of the business - after a few months of using the software, the price was increased without warning.

Integrated Rental Management System
This has been the best rental management software we have found. Most others are just an inventory management system, however the quoting, invoicing and integration with Xero make this a much more valuable program than the others
PROSViberent handles our end to end processes from quoting, invoicing, inventory management and integration with our financial software Xero
CONSIt can be a little bit clunky and sometimes slow with high volume rental transactions

In terms of system being slow sometimes, for rentals with large number of items (eg more 50 lines) for rental periods spanning 6 weeks or so, the system needs to check availability for each item for each day of the 6 week or so period. This requires time as you can appreciate.

Using Viberent
Overall a very good service it has helped us to keep track of rentals and equipment and allowed us to grow in the meantime.
PROSThe scheduling calender really helps to see what you have on the go day by day. In addition viberent connects well with quickbooks our financial software.
CONSInitial population of the system was the only bit I didn't like having to deal with but that goes for any software with large amounts of data to upload.

Viberent had excellent customer service and were willing to look into any changes we needed - it made it a very positive transition

Customer service was terrible and there were certain changes we needed in the software that we were told weren't available.

Overall we are very pleased with the Viberent experience. It is great to be able to communicate directly with the developers to solve any issues that arise.
PROSFavourite parts of Viberent include the ease of interface for creating new contracts & the ability to integrate both to & from Xero.
CONSIt can have slight delays in loading at times.

I always had great support from Siva. Set up and starting to use the system was made easy and logical even for someone who had no experience in using such systems. All questions followed up and answered.
PROSMakes bookings, processing and invoicing easy and efficient.
CONSMonth end roll overs are easy to invoice, but then we lose track of items on hire for the next month. Additional feature to invoice hire but not return equipment would be useful.

Great product and can be adapted/customised for most specifications of a business.
PROSThe Viberent Team are understanding of what is required as the explanation of requirements are discussed. The adaptation made for the business has been great.
CONSThe time taken for adjustments, but the requests do mean a mass of sata rewriting...so understandable.

Viberent Review
Overall it has been a positive experience and we are happy with the product, it saves time daily by streamlining the quoting/ booking/invoicing process.
PROSThis system is easy to use and allows for a fast booking/invoicing process. all paperwork pertaining to the booking can be sent in one email from the system,
CONSThe training is not ideal. It is over zoom and feels rushed. There is no manual and while the training sessions are recorded and sent to me I have never listened to them as when I require help i do not have time to listen to an hours recording hoping to find the answer.

Extremely Easy to learn and use
Very happy
PROSWe have used Viberent for our wedding and event floral and rental company since 2018. We find their customer service proactive and they have always been great at listening and actioning our feedback for new features that would benefit our business.
CONSSometimes we have found glitches in the system at specific times however every time we have advised them they have been prompt in looking into it and advising or fixing the issues and not regularly enough to cause any major issue.

Save time a month end
Overall experience has been great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] listened to the features we required as a business and Viberent has met all of our expectations.
PROSViberent has saved days of work as we previously entered all invoices individually into Xero. It is now done in less than half the time with much more accurate recording of hire days. This means invoices get out to the clients faster and there are no delays at month end. Having set customer prices for individual items also saves a lot of time when entering new hire items.
CONSThe fact that once a hire item starts there is no way to edit the Header. Our customers are often building on new sites or need multiple reference numbers so these details can change often. There is no way to edit this on the invoice without deleting the existing invoices.

Not sure. I haven't been able to try other software's to compare
CONSI find it very hard to use. The search just use the first word which makes it very limited. Also, the way of doing changes when doing a quote is a waste of time. We need to do several changes very often and it takes close to 1 hour to do a quote.

Our operations team uses Viberent to help manage rentals, equipment inventory and customer communication. It’s a great tool to help the team stay organised and ensure the company delivers clear and consistent communications to clients. It’s brilliant that the app also works with Xero to help simplify accounting tasks. The app offers the structure that is needed for transparency and accountability in a hire business but is also customisable to meet our unique needs.

Viberent
Satisfactory experience with the use of Viberent. It would be good if there were tiers of users to enable subscribers to make changes to invoices or rental schedules
PROSSetting up a rental schedule and not having to worry about it again until it is completed its rental term.
CONSAll rental schedule has to be set up accurately right from the start as they cannot be amended once the rental has started. It is difficult to make changes or add to a rental invoice once it has started. Any change is not possible.
