Hoxhunt is worth!
Well overall, i would recomend Hoxhunt to every company that is dealing with a huge load of emails, as this is the best way to stay aware with not trusting mails. Also the reward system of huxhunt is pretty motivating.
PROSIt takes you out of the Routine, out of feeling safety and staying more allert.
CONSWell funny to say but, sometimes Hoxhunt was too good, i was not expecting to read a hoxhunt mail.
Reason for choosing Hoxhunt
Well, we tested hoxhunt and it was so much better than any other Company dealing with the same system.

Review of Security Features
Very good
PROSWhat I like about the software is that it is intuitive to the process in your everyday use of Outlook / emails. There is not alot of steps you need to make. See something, say something etc..
CONSTrickery - it's not necessarily bad, just that a couple times I feel like I was duped when either missing an email or deleted knowing it wasn't for me.

Gamified experience for phishing simulations and other threats
Hoxhunt training and outlook plugin + smartly created simulated threats create a seamless learning and awareness package for companies who want to not only train, but refresh those perishable skills often. I think that's where Hoxhunt shines - it integrates to Outlook and has some gamified experience and leaderboards to keep the employees motivated to participate.
PROSSimulated threats are really good. Trainings are easy to comprehend for even not so technical persons. Repetition of basics is good method to learn and keep awareness high to counter the real world threats.Hoxhunt add-in to Outlook works well and can be used as "no-brainer" check for any even slightly suspicious emails. If it's not training and still suspicious, then I would give it extra round of inspection and/or report to company IT.
CONSI only recently found out that also my mobile Outlook app has the Hoxhunt plugin. I had skipped reporting some training mails before finding out that it can be also done in my mobile phone since I'm not always in front of computer. There may be limitations also on Outlook for Web - if that gets later added I would assess that then the coverage is spot on.

Mimics real life threats to increase awareness
Overall it was a good experience. The timing of the simulated threat emails are also random so you cannot really find a pattern or predict when one is coming. It will definitely raise awareness in users what to look out for.. (Disclaimer: My review/opinion of this product is solely my own and does not represent the views/opinion of the company I work for)
PROSI really like how the software mimics real life techniques of attack and reinforcing the learning by presenting microtraining materials. The gamification (earning shields and badges) also adds to the interest to look out for this simulated threats. When you also flagged an actual threat, there is an option to send it for further analysis.
CONSNothing much to complain aside from the duration you need to act on a simulated threat. If you have not flagged it in like 3 days, it will be marked as missed. This happens when you are on a vacation and did not have access to emails.

Easy to understand and provides real-life scenarios.
Scenario-based learning with an appropriate amount of education and context make HoxHunt actually useful-- the gamification and badges has also made security training feel remarkably pleasant and relevant.
PROSI like how HoxHunt creates realistic emails that mimic phishing attacks and other kinds of malware in scenarios that actually would happen-- those are great opportunities to test my own understanding of security protocols and to educate myself on what makes an email suspicious.
CONSI am overall very satisfied with the product but I have noticed an instance where a HoxHunt training email appeared to be sent to spam (which defeats the purpose).

Great way to gamify your security trainings and phishing awareness!
Create awareness throughout the whole org while not annoying employees with the same boring training over and over again. The way Hoxhunt gamifies this approach is just awesome and can be done everywhere at anytime. The invested time of 2-3 minutes per phishing test is much more acceptable than a 60 minute long training where focus easily shifts away.
PROSIt is easy to use, their phishing tests are seriously good and make users aware of how easy it is to fall for a mail that has basically copied the original. Always reviews the most important signals to look for, great overall training!
CONSI'm not sure if the frequency of mails received is the same for everyone, i feel like some people get more mails than others what designs the competition a little bit unfair

TW Laramay Hoxhunt Review
Keeping everyone aware of what can happen if you expose the company to potential hackers is a very beneficial. Money lost if an attack occurs is substantial for a company of our size.
PROSThe software makes you aware of how easy it can be for a hacker to access your system if you're not careful. It teaches you what to look for when you receive a suspicious email so that you don't compromise your companies system by inadvertently clicking on a link. I like how the training emails are disguised as real emails (very sneaky). They keep you alert to potential attacks.
CONSNo cons that I can see. There have been a few emails which were so realistic that I clicked on the links only to be alerted to the fact that it was a training email (like I said above, very sneaky). Those make me a feel a little discourage that I was fooled into believing that it was real. But at the same time, those are a great opportunity to learn and can be a real eyeopener.

Best way to improve your cybersecurity awareness
Its easy to use and definitely raises your awareness for phishing e-mails and other security threats. Would recommend for everyone.
PROSThe software uses a hands-on approach, allowing the user to make mistakes and then explaining how to avoid making similar mistakes. The point reward system provides a sense of achievement and also makes the process fun, allowing you to compare your progress with your colleagues within the company. I always considered myself strong, when it comes to e-mail security, but I must admit, that Hoxhunt managed to catch me off guard with their perfectly tailored e-mails.
CONSThere is nothing to dislike in this software. Sometimes, when you're out of office, you could miss an training e-mail or two, but I guess software does not get information on your absence. So the early bird gets the worm.

Good education tool for employees
This is a nice tool to educate the employees how to stay away from spam & phishing attacks. Some mails are so convincing that if people are not careful, they will click on the risky links which can then in background wreak havoc on the system. The tool has a convenient interface & regular way for sending mails in a way which makes employee think if this mail is genuine or not. And while doing so the employee is gaining knowledge as well as the system is totally safe.
CONSNothing annoying about this tool. I sometimes see some slowness while the dashboard opens up and takes us through the learnings but its tolerable.

It is a great way to make employees of all skill levels aware of email threats.
PROSIt is integrated to Outlook as a plugin. Emails imitates real phishing mails very well. It is very easy to use. There is a point system including the Quiz to get more point so that you can compete with other departments.
CONSI am simply a user of the products. So I cannot tell about the implementation. I cannot come up with any cons or improvements.

One of the BEST security awareness software!
One thing I absolutely love about Hoxhunt is the fact that when they send you their version of a phishing email (don't worry the emails they send are safe) they explain how the email is a scam once it has been reported. And as a cherry on top, they give you gold stars for every phishing email you catch, and it puts you on a leaderboard between you and your coworkers.
CONSThe different types of Phishing are limited, all that needs to be improved is there has to be a bit more variety when it comes to what type of phishing email they send.

Hoxhunt phishing simulation feature
Fantastic tool for end user awareness. The weakest point in security are users, so, teaching them on how to handle and how to securely use IT devices is necessary.
PROSThe hoxhunt phising simulation is a great functionality that provides great phishing simulation. The phishings are really realiable and easy to be phished, which is very important. Many phishing emails are really relatable to the environment we're inserted and they could trick on you easily. Hoxhunt plugin for Office is marvelous, making it easy to report. Once the tool is based on gamification, it makes you want to report all phishing emails, encouraging us, the players, to report more and more. Mini trainings on the platform is good, once it encovers the critical points around end-user security, such as strong passwords, how to detect phishings and others.
CONSNone at the moment. I really enjoy the platform.

Untrained, external member of the team.
I am sharpening my awareness level. Mission accomplished.
PROSI never had training (if given at all to other members of the Bank, I am unsure). I am a distance worker, working abroad. But I really like the organic nature of the product. Our emails (my emails on behalf of the Bank) are often sent to spam, so get missed and matters are not handled.SO this is clearly a problem on an international level. I have already spoken warmly about this product to others,as your approach is so intelligent, and reward system informative and amusing! My own company, contracted to the Bank is a 2-man business so we're not really in the market for you, and I keep my partner fully up to date with what I come across in the Bank's version of Hoxhunt.
CONSI didn't have any training or warning of this process, when I joined the organisation. But in retrospect is was more natural and organic that way. The scammers don't send notice that they are about to begin a campaign of malicious communication, after all.

Pros and cons regarding Hoxhunt.
This really puts the finger on email and on line security. I thought I was aware of most of the dangers before but now I know better and can hopefully better detect them before they cause any harm to me or the company.
PROSIt really shows how easy it is to fall for malicious emails and how some small simple steps can be used to detect those very same emails.
CONSThe training mails is rather infrequent resulting in some people getting lots of training mails and others hardly any.

Great tool
Great! I really like it; it's practical and actually a welcome pause from time to time when checking my emails. as I find it fun.
PROSI love that I can rely on Hoxhunt to sniff out harmful emails, even when they're cleverly disguised as genuine inquiries from other members within the company.
CONSI'd actually like more "fake" emails, to get better at determining whether something is a fake or not.
