To be honest, I never faced any downside of using Middleware

My team and I recently tried Middleware, and so far, it has been good. As a tech lead, I appreciate how this hassle-free onboarding experience allowed us to focus on more critical tasks without getting bogged down by complex installation procedures.One of the standout aspects for me has been the platform's affordability. Being responsible for managing costs, I'm always looking for solutions that provide exceptional value. Middleware does precisely that.

Comprehensive monitoring capabilities: Middleware offers a wide range of monitoring capabilities, allowing deeper insights into the performance of our systems and applications.Easy Integration and Setup: The installation setup was easy and quick. I didn’t face any challenge what’s so ever.

Limited Customization Options: They do offer the ability to create custom dashboards, but I personally didn’t feel it to be so useful.

I tried Middleware during my upskilling process, where I tried, tested and learned various observability tools. As someone who also used other observability tools, I found Middleware to be the least complicated. The tool was easy to use, they had detailed documentation, and their installation process was relatively easier than Datadog. I continue to use them for my side projects and experiments.

Shallow learning curve. As someone relatively new to the DevOps ecosystem, I found Middleware to be very easy to use and set up. I rarely had to ask the support team for any help; when I did, they quickly resolved it.

To be honest, I didn’t notice any downside of using Middleware. However, I noticed that they offer integration to a very limited number of third-party services and apps.

I have used this product mainly for monitor and tracking logs, it has been really useful to track down the issue and do a thorough root cause analysis.

Middleware has been a great product so there is nothing to dislike as such.
