Serraview Review
Overall, I am very satisfied with Serraview. The modules looks good and the data we derive from Serraview is great too. When we have capacity, I would like to explore integrating sensor data to Serraview. However, Serraview/Eptura needs to work on uploading wifi access points quicker as we are now missing wifi data for these sites with wifi upgrades.
PROS- product is easy to use and UX is good- getting data through Direct Connect/Snowflake is great
CONS- customer support can be slow in some instances e.g. I have sent through wifi access points bssid's and locations on a floorplan (screenshots) for 8 sites (due to wifi upgrade) on 1st Aug but this task is still outstanding (25th Aug). I reached out weekly through Eptura Customer Hub but did not get any response until I personally reached out to our Customer Success Manager. Further, no estimate completion date was provided :(- only 5 team members can see each other's tickets in Eptura Customer Hub. Why can't it be all the team members? The previous Serraview ticket system is much better than the current Eptura ticket system. - attendance figures in Serraview VBS dashboard is severely under reported. Although we have our own dashboard and attendance analysis, this figure should not be as low given Serraview has badge and SV Live data.
Reason for choosing Serraview
In terms of capabilities that we care about e.g. portfolio management, space planning, desk booking and locating people, Serraview is the best product. Bravo and keep up the good work!

Serraview Review for Adobe
I have worked with Serraview for 6.5 years, with other clients as well as Adobe. It is a very useful tool.
PROSIt is a reliable platform where we can house our data regarding floorplans and metrics. Can generate reports, is connected to Adobe Life Locator for wayfinding, and integration with WorkDay very good.
CONSOpen tickets can drag on with no communication from the technical side working on an issue or request. Some tickets are handled in a timely manner but some I hear nothing until I reach out every couple of weeks to ask what the status is. I wish there was a time estimate provided so our client would know when a ticket will be completed.

Space Management tool - could be better
Hopefully, Serraview will deliver on it's promised feature to incorporate / caputure staff entry and exit data which will assist with determining space utilisation within a building. While Serraview will promise new features and update / enhance existing ones, they will not always deliver on these promises. They will ususally incur a greater cost and given that it is a very 'space specific' software package, failure to make this package the one of choice with it's customers, new and upcoming software packages will probably find it easy to lure Serraview customers away if they can demonstrate better features.
PROSSome reporting features are useful. Creation of spaces, teams, neighbourhoods has remained the same in the upgraded version. Support team are quick and helpful when problems are experienced.
CONSVery frustrating when Serraview 'decides' that an existing report or feature is no longer required and relevant and disables without consultation with customers who utilise it. This should be evident from the number of votes and comments applied to their 'suggest an improvement' forum. Implementation of requested enhancement, many that existed pre-upgrade, is slow. Normally enhancing a system should create new features, not remove the existing ones to the detriment of the system e.g. undo button, eraser, plotting tools for measuring, no longer able to archive duplicated users. Serraview live can be very hit and miss. You can record a 'work from home' status against a person, but it is not captured in any included reporting. Given what has been experienced world wide in the past 2 years, this feature should be automatically included with existing reporting. You should need to ask for reporting to be 'created' to utilise this feature.

Serraview serves to the global OM team for daily use, it is easy to navigate and update. Imports and bulk change a great benefit. Easy to access any detail. Easy to configure. Custom field creation and reporting is user friendly. Appreciation of improved customer support.
CONSImpossibility to import Multi Entity into custom fields. This is a big fail causing manual work instead of Importing the values.Custom fields are limited to entities max 25. SFTP and Reports fail frequently which is time consuming for reporting to support as this happens without a reason.

Need better Customer Support!
I love what the system does, and what is capable of doing (if we buy the options)
PROSThe reporting adds so much value to the client. We use reporting to tell a "data story" guiding them in making wise business decisions. It's also wonderful to have in wayfinding for the associate population as people meander back to the office after the pandemic.
CONSReceiving an answer/solution out of Serraview Customer Support takes forever; it's only via email or portal, you can't talk to a person other than our Customer Experience Manager. Thank goodness we have meetings set up twice per month with her. She's very responsive and has wonderful follow through, but she can only fix so much herself. She does help advocate for us and receive answers, but relying on the email/portal is not conducive to timely solutions. I often don't feel supported, and just really, really hope that nothing breaks- or if it does, that I'm creative enough to implement a workaround, because it might be a long time before anything is resolved.

Recommend
Overall, I like Serraview as my daily space management tool and have been using it very successfully each day. The technical support team is great to work with.
PROSSerraview provides many features compared to other space management system I used before. I like the Block & Stack and Move Add Change the most. They provide a lot of detailed information for the daily space management task.
CONSIt will be great if the screen layout is more flexible to allow to minimize the contents which are not needed so the floor plan can be viewed in a larger of the screen area.

CONSperhaps not always intuitive, also, Bi-Directional Integration was not as smooth as hoped but that was then and this is now. A lot can change in 2 years.

CONSThere are a few things that I think could be more intuitive when planning. I think the Eptura support could be more responsive to issues that come across. More training videos that are a little more lengthy than what is provided would be helpful.

A good workplace management solution that is scaleable

Find where you're going!
Very easy to use tool to find where a colleague sits or where your next meeting is at a large company with a big campus that spans multiple buildings.
CONSDoesn't seem to integrate with some google calendar. It'd be nice to click through and see directions to where I'm headed to.
