WPS Office allows you to open files of five different formats within one window as different tabs! This makes work seamless and easy!

I like WPS its a competitive office suite, at no cost! It is an all in one platform, with three basic programs, Writer, Spreadsheets, and Presentations. You can create and open documents with these different programs all in one window as separate tabs. This is a plus for me, it makes work so much cleaner, and manageable. More often than not I am working on over five different documents. When working with WPS Office I do not have to struggle to maximize the actual document I need by trial and error or by reading small wording on minimized windows. I just maximize the WPS window and easily find the document tab I need. Within the open window, you can navigate through several Writer, Spreadsheets, and Presentations documents. The different document tabs can also be pulled out as separate windows if needed. WPS Office also has a PDF viewer option, with a number of features including PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, and Merge PDF, I mostly use the viewer. Another great aspect of WPS Office is that it can open webpages as tabs from the same window you are working from. Saving you time and effort of having to move back and forth between your work and web browser!

I like how you are able to open different documents of varying formats from the same window, but it would be nice to be able to open more document formats or rather if WPS Office could add more programs?

I began using WPS during a work-term in China in the early 2000s and found it useful for working dual-language documents in English and Chinese as the software could easily handle Unicode documents that mixed English and Chinese characters. Overall, its a good option, especially for multi-language documents where you wish to ensure that formatting and language character sets are properly preserved and displayed.

- WPS performs basic tasks very well and without problems. - The basic version of WPS is free and is sufficient for many tasks. - The pro version reasonably priced for a yearly license. - Opens most MS Word documents and preserves formatting in the majority of cases. - WPS can open SmartArt diagrams created in MS Office. This is impressive! - Layout is intuitive and follows common office suite conventions so its easy to earn - Cross platform and runs well on Linux, Mac, and of course on Windows 10

The WPS official website does not state anywhere that the software is a product of KingSoft, China. This seems misleading and leads users to wonder why. The desktop version of the free version requires the user to watch ads to gain access to certain features. I find this manipulative and detracts from considering the software as a serious work tool. Performance of the Android version is marred by an overabundance of advertisement which detracts from serious use. Lacks some of the advanced features of MS Office 360, but this is forgivable as it is much less costly. However, there are alternatives available that offer serious competition to WPS Office.

WPS office gives the option to open various documents all at once, therefore saving the time and stress of open and closing apps every time you want to look at different documents. It also leaves a green check on your last previously viewed document, saving you the stress of trying to look for your last opened document. Most of the essential features for your basic everyday life usage is free compared to some other similar apps

Trying to find a saved document on WPS office might be difficult to find for first time users.

I absolutely love working on WPS Office and prefer it to the other software out there.

So I have used both the paid and the free version of this and it has certainly helped me with a lot of things from editing pdf documents on the go, and working on documents simultaneously with my clients/colleagues. Other features I've loved of WPS Office are translation and file transfer from PC to mobile which can be such a hassle if one is working in a time-constricting environment.

Well since I've used both the paid and the free version I'll say its a bit pricey but worth the cost.

I love that WPS Office is extremely good in sending, receiving, editing and converting documents. It makes handling documents so easy for me.

I haven't found any faults while using WPS Office.

I've been using WPS since a few years ago. I think wps is the same as office in general. in terms of form and function are the same. even when compared to that one famous brand, wps is the best competitor. because it can match in terms of function and friendlier in terms of price. for WPS presentation, it is superior to its competitors. and WPS provide free version for you.

I think for now I have not found the failure of WPS. maybe WPS is just not as popular as the other software. oh yes, if you calculate using the WPS spreadsheet in large sizes even more than 100 mb, my advice is to use WPS enterprise

WPS office looks great! It is the best of the Office alternatives I have found so far. It looks and feels better than Office itself, and that is high praise seeing how long Office has been around. I just love how easy WPS Office is to use. It is much cheaper than Microsoft's 365, it is much more beautiful and user friendly than Open Office, and it is an all around great piece of software. I can only recommend it to everyone.

It has a built-in PDF editor. That seems to be an underrated feature that all office tools should have incorporated. I also very much liked how beautiful WPS looks and how easy it is to navigate.

I could not find one single fault with WPS Office. Even the price for Business users is very reasonable, compared to the cheapest 365 subscription.

I really have nothing bad to say about this software it is indeed that good, maybe for the free version would be the ads but even their ads are not in your face and is understandable for a free version you need to sustain your service somehow.

I like alot of features in WPS but the most feature that stands out for me is the one which it can make and alter texts, pictures, custom diagrams, tables, and different items to create astounding records in comparison to other softwares in the same market

It is still in the growth phase. Not up to the standards of Microsoft office, blatantly speaking.

It is easier to get to use on any electronic device compared to Microsoft Office.

The grammar check tool on this software is not good enough. After working on this, you transfer your work to Microsoft office and you see there are a lot of red inks. It does not readily support researching tools like Endnotes and Mendeley (It takes a lot of calibrations of the settings to get them through) Very difficult.

I am a finger typist . I am faster when typing on my mobile, in fact ; i'm 3 times faster on mobile than i am on my PC/laptop keyboard. So, WPS makes it easy for me to type very fast with my thumbs on my mobile phone keyboard. I can confidently say that it has helped me save a lot of time typing.

I like the 1GB free cloud storage, the 30 days free trial is a great gesture to show how much they trust users. I also like the fact that they don't locked it out for users who don't pay after the 30 days trial. Its microsoft office compatibility is an added bonus in a way that you can easily open documents from people using microsoft office because majority of people and companies use it, which makes WPS equally universal. To me i think it's more mobile friendly than any other similar software I've ever used on mobile.

I worry about the security of my documents and the auto-spell check could do with a little improvement. The app opens faster on my mobile than it does on my laptop.

WPS is a recomendable software as it contains office feature like word, power point, spread sheet and pdf viewer. The office features are easy to navigate .The free version is also available to users and one can access his/her documents using any mobile or computer platform by simply login into his/her account.

Grammarly check tools are quite ineffective. My overall rating in gramarly is often low even after having spell checked my document while using the WPS office. The free version has quite more adverts.

I use the word processing and spreadsheet functions the most. They can be opened in the same interface, which is nice. They do everything competing products do, and sometimes more.

Fully replaces Microsoft Office (now office 365) and doesn't require me to pay a subscription fee every month. Doesn't force me to work in the cloud.

I don't have any complaints about this software. It fills the hole left behind when Microsoft forced users to pay monthly for software that doesn't need to be SaaS.

A recent update allows you to project your slides via WIFI while further allowing you to make impressions on your mobile. I guess this is one of its niche right now. It may be in another software, but I have no idea of it. The drag-up and drop-down tool on WPS mobile is very convenient to use, and it reduces the clutter that would have been experienced when you have so many icons scattered across the screen. A very suitable word processor for all your professional/business needs. WPS office utilizes very little space on your hard disk. Likewise, if you have a 16/32gb RAM on your mobile, you do not need to worry about unnecessary files or processes that fill up space and reduces productivity. The software works across many platforms and its cloud functions allows your to work flow efficiently across these platforms. I sometimes start a document on my windows desktop at work, edit on my android, and send to my boss’ iPad for review.

“File collapsed accidentally” is an error I encounter some times when I run this app on my android. I don’t know if its from my device, Kingsoft should look into minor bugs such as this. When I receive a word document on my mobile and I edit it on WPS, I cannot save at once. Rather, I am directed to a “Save as” page. I feel this is clumsy. When I close the app, files are not automatically deleted/closed. I recently saw a log of open documents I worked on over the months. On the long term, such cached data may take up much space and start to make the app or the phone lag. It’s possible for a rookie user to look for certain options endlessly, so I would advise a little introduction/tutorial package on the app. The 1GB of cloud storage isn't much. It does my bidding though, just saying. The recommendations on Spell check are not accurate some times in terms of syntax, grammar, and semantics. As an English and Literature major, Kingsoft could rely on my expertise in this regard.

There are no cons in WPS office. The only thing they can work on is ads on their mobile app because sometimes it gets too annoying. Other than that it’s perfect!

WPS compiles a bunch of features to open the doc, ppt, doc, exl etc files to the full potential. It is one of the leading application for the students as it is much handy in the mobile for our daily use. The way it allows to edit, share, view, convert and manage the files is so much good that we have to appreciate it.

The one thing i hate about WPS is that the featureful and perfect app only comes to the paid version. It should have policies of usage to students at much cheaper price. One of the major flaw I found in WPS was i automatically saves opened file which causes the space problem in much cases.

WPS Office meets a lot of my office needs but the issue I have with it is that it lacks some of the features of a PC office, especially when using it via an Android device Also, file collapse happens too often and the developers need to look into this.
