Experience with EnjoyHQ as a B2B marketing platform with 1000 employees.
Apart from accumulating knowledge and helping us to surface the relevant bits whenever those are needed it has the potential of reaching one of our long-term goals: democratizing research. What this means for us is 1) tapping into the knowledge of other -non-product focused- departments, e.g. sales and support 2) enable other departments to use our knowledge.
PROSWe have a UX Research team of 6 persons, plus about 20 product managers. A tremendous amount of customer insights are generated every week. What I like most about EnjoyHQ is that it enables us to make use of that wealth of information. Whenever I start a new research project, I am sure to find 50 to 100 existing research notes that touch on that topic. It gives us a leg up. But that's just what a research repository at it's best. What makes EnjoyHQ special (we have tried 5 other solutions and surveyed 20 other) is I think the continuous care they show for our needs. Each other solution falls short somewhere along the research workflow.
CONSAlthough EnjoyHQ follows sound and industry-standard data security practices, we miss a SOC2 or ISO27001 certification. Unfortunately, no other vendor has such certifications according to our investigation.
Reason for choosing EnjoyHQ
Airtable (Polaris) was really not a good fit for our qualitative research efforts. When you come out of a good customer interview, you have all the context and richness of that conversation. That context is gone the moment you are trying to break the picture up into 100 different pieces to fit into cells. Dovetail seemed to be an excellent tool, but we had the impression that they are targeting small startups in mind. Most of what they had couldn't support our team, when we have 10-20 research projects going on simultaneously, in different product areas, different product teams.
Reasons for switching to EnjoyHQ
ProductBoard charged us for each user about $30-$50. Which was ok until only UXers and PMs took part in the game. But then, when we wanted to share that knowledge with 300 developers, it wasn't worth it anymore. It directly contradicted our collaborative approach, where UXers, PMs, and engineers work together to solve customer problems. Where everyone needs to understand the customer needs inside-out. EnjoyHQ provides us an unlimited number of read-only users for a fixed price. Apart from this ProductBoard is also a prioritization, roadmapping tool. User research was only part of their vision, and we felt this on the feature offering and usability.

Easy to use, share and grow your insights over time!
We've learned how to aggregate data in a valuable and meaningful way, as well as share those insights more frequently and transparently across the company. I've been an advocate for Enjoy since the get go, and had plenty of demos for our company about how to use it. We now even have our CX team joining the Product and UX team in Enjoy which has been great.
PROSI very much enjoy (no pun intended) having this linear workflow of collection > analysing > structuring and reporting. I love the data management tools: rules, properties and tags. They are sophisticated and dynamic.
CONSI'd like more variety in terms of data reporting: colors, charts, visuals. Especially in times like these when people are so stuck behind their screens. It's also part of how we show the value of enjoy to our stakeholders.
Reason for choosing EnjoyHQ
We had a great demo with their [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and we felt that Enjoy had the best tools, a ton of knowledge and documentation, and simply followed the workflow we're looking for. They listen, they improve, and they are researchers by heart.Data aggregation tools was our main buy-in with stakeholders, as well as using those tools to report and share. Something we'd been looking to get done efficiently, and now thankfully can say we've achieved. During our time with Enjoy they've had the best customer service I've ever experienced: fast, empathetic, helpful, and instructive. I don't know you do it, but you are simply soooo good!

Still Getting Acquainted
So far, it's been great, but we're still in the setting up stage.
PROSI love that the team will be more able to utilize past research once we get it all loaded and setup, but mostly I love the support that the team gives in setting up EnjoyHQ. They have some amazing documentation and support articles on getting started.
CONSI wish I could allow all viewers to search through the archives and discover trends on their own.
Reason for choosing EnjoyHQ
I enjoyed that possibility to grow into EnjoyHQ with the vast amount of integrations. We won't use them to start, but a tool like this has a high cost to switch so knowing we can grow into in the long term as we become a more mature product design team is great.

Review EnjoyHQ
We are now collecting and gathering feedback company-wide that is accessible for everybody. We can now do follow-ups on the received feedback to build customer loyalty. And most importantly, we can now improve our software product based on user feedback to met user needs.
PROSThe software is easy to use. The rules in which you can auto-tag feedback is very powerful. The support is great, fast and honest. Right now, we collect feedback more often and it is all collected in one place accessible for everybody.
CONSAt this moment (I am using this software for a month now) I have nothing I dislike

The cornerstone of our customer feedback process
EnjoyHQ is our customer feedback repository. All of our customer-facing teams (CSM, Support, Sales, Product) constantly pipe feedback items into EnjoyHQ and we review it weekly as a team. The product and UX teams also use it for qualitative research as we're designing new products & features.
PROSThe deep searching is very powerful, and customer quotes are always at my fingertips when I'm writing a product spec or investigating a use case. The Slack integration is key, as our whole team is in Slack and it's very easy to add new feedback right from the channels we're already using. We've also got Zendesk syncing tickets that are tagged "feedback" into EnjoyHQ. I'm excited to try the new video transcripts feature that was just added as well. The support team is great as well, they are super quick to respond.
CONSEnjoyHQ's interface does take a little bit of time to get used to. They've improved it a lot recently with the search query builder, but there are still some quirks. You have to highlight some text in a customer quote before you can add a comment, for example. Also, I'm still not totally clear how Projects are to be used. But those are minor complaints.

User Research on steroids ;)
Really positive to see the platform evolve fast and I really appreciate to have so much user inputs at my finger tips. The more you put in it, the more you get out of it, and you can really answer user questions in no time without needing necessarily new research (finally tap into the cumulated user research done throughout the company - no more double work!).
PROS- They adapt the platform often - I see improvements every day and they match my needs - you feel a dedicated team in the background and that's the best you can expect (no product is ever perfect) - Really helped me in my day to day to find information about our users in no time - I love the translation feature which let me not only look at the reviews / interviews that happened in english (with a large german community, this has no price!)
CONS- Can be really complex at times and therefore some features become unusable or hard to get started with. - Not very happy with the reports - I would need a kind of sub-folder system (the 1 folder = 1 project limits putting together several kind of inputs - I'll need to dig in the new story feature to see if this is solved with it)

Perfect Research Repository
It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the data. EnjoyHQ helps me process tons of information from multiple sources and figure out how to use it to drive business decisions. It also helps me share pertinent information with my UX and Dev teams to help collaboration.
PROSEffective Product Management requires understanding the market, competitive landscape, potential customers and existing users. I've found EnjoyHQ has the perfect flexibility for me to capture notes from a variety of resources (articles, books, interviews, customer feedback, etc). More importantly I love how I can easily highlight important insights and then use the analysis board to organize ideas from a wide range of sources to discover patterns. It's easy to share with members of my team and to go back and revisit research through the tagging and search feature. Much more efficient and actionable than using a Google doc.
CONSDue to the flexible nature of the platform, at first I was a little unclear how best to organize my research. However, EnjoyHQ's support was incredible responsive and walked me through. It would be great if they added a way to create and associate Personas with Discovery interview notes. But that's just a nice to have. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Really great way to centralize feedback
Makes it super easy to get all customer feedback in one place, use it in decision making, and share it with the org. Integrates with everything we use to speak to customers, and was really quick to set up. The team have been very helpful on support whenever we have a question or need help.
CONSIt's a little complex to use, and there are a few little things on the interface which I wish worked better (for example the back button in Safari basically doesn't work). I think the Projects feature isn't as well developed as I would like, or at least I don't find myself using it as much as I would have thought I would.

EnjoyHQ, A Passionate Team Making a Needed Product
I love how easy this product makes the process of searching through libraries of information, something I couldn't do with products I used previously. The new transcription service that automatically, and freely, creates transcriptions of audio text is a massive lifesaver. It cuts down on notetaking requirements and costs for using alternative transcription services.
CONSThe software is still new and has the occasional bug or missing feature. These are rarely dealbreakers and when I bring them to the attention of support, they are very frequently already in the process of fixing them.

Great feedback management tool
Good, but can be improved. Trust their development team will get the missing things done
PROSThe tool is quite simple, which means that the on boarding and the learning curve is quite short. It gets the job done
CONSLacks integrations Tagging is kind of cumbersome and could be improved… automatically tag based on ML would be ideal

EHQ for UX research
We needed to gather all research notes in one place so that not only us (UX team), but everyone in the company could easily find them and can easily conduct research on them. They also can upload their insights so finally we have a comprehensive collection of insights.
PROSAll our notes are in one place so it is easy to find what one is looking for - property/tag system is a great help.
CONSLink in the email notification works weirdly: it is difficult to find the exact notes the notification refers to.

An easy to use research repository
With EnjoyHQ it is easy to create a research note, highlight and tag the most interesting and relevant insights and group them. Though, for me, the most useful part is the search engine, I enjoy the powerful and flexible filtering option. Stories is also a nice option for sharing research insights and iterations with my team.
CONSAlthough the design is nice, sometimes I feel the screen a bit overcrowded.

Super smart tool for customer research and insights
It's super easy to set up and to connect with data sources etc.
CONSUnfortunately it didn't meet all our requirements because we're more focused on tracking and understanding customer satisfaction on a number of defined parameters/features. Enjoy really shines when it comes to categorising, understanding and sharing research for development of new products and features.

Great product, amazing team
So far so good.
PROSProduct works great, numerous valuable features. But what is most important for me is the quality of the team, always there to support you. Always available and always keen to find a solution to our problem. Great stuff.
CONSsometime the product could appear technical, so its difficult to onboard but great when you start to know how to play with it.
