iMovie Review
It makes editing my YouTube videos so much easier, and I love that fact that their isn’t a watermark with name of the app when I save my videos.
PROSI recently started a YouTube channel and iMovie is a God sent for me. It makes my editing life so easy! I am able to cut out parts of the video or footage that I don’t want. Mute the footage and speed up the videos. All my projects are saved on the app once the videos are still in my phone. So I can go back re-edit if I want to. You are also given the option of creating your own or you are able to use a template provided by the app, and you can just edit and make it your own. It’s user friendly, and it makes editing a lot of fun, and super easy. When you add multiple videos, a transition is automatically added by the app for you. I love the app! I would recommend 100% to anyone! Fast, easy and reliable.
CONSThe one thing about this app I which could be changed tho, is to add a faster speed to speed up videos, but you can save the video and add speed again. Apart from that this is a great app! I 100% recommend.
Reasons for switching to iMovie
I hate the watermark that came with KineMaster. iMovie is a lot better and user friendly.

Great for basic projects, but missing features for professional editors
Overall I love iMovie. It's my go to for all my fun projects for social media and slideshow videos. I am looking into moving to a more professional level software as my projects have become more involved, but I think iMovie will always be my default video editor.
PROSI like the software because it just works. It's perfect for beginners and just working on a fun project with friends. The templates are and if you just want a simple fun video editor this is great. It can take you really far and is easy to learn. iMovie is where I learned to make videos and it is my go to for all my basic projects
CONSiMovie doesn't have some of the more custom or professional level editing tools, but for most video projects they are not needed. One of the things I love and also hate is how iMovie automatically connects all your video clips. It's great for slide shows and many quick projects, but I hate that I can't lock clips to specific spots on the time line...they always move around based on what clips I drop into the project.
Reason for choosing iMovie
I choose iMovie because it came free with my mac. I will eventually buy Final Cut Pro, but iMovie gave me exactly what I needed to get started with video creation for my social media.

Joe fumbles through iMovie
It's just one of the basic Apple tools that I have one most of my max. Most of the time I deferred to go to an Adobe product to do this kind of work because it gives me more flexibility and the end product has a higher quality.
PROSIt's one of those out of the box Apple products that come with most Apple technology. When I movie first came out it was an easy application and very inexpensive. It's not quite as easy as it used to be but it's still an expensive.
CONSThe application is a bit clunky and hard to navigate through you need to do a lot of exploration and digging to find the basic functionality of the application. An average Yeutter user is frustrated and usually either stops using the application or doesn't use it to its forced capabilities.
Reason for choosing iMovie
I choose it as a product it comes with my Mac so it's an out-of-the-box kind of application like numbers and pages. I use it if I'm just doing something down and dirty and quick or if I just want someone to be able to create some basic video. But again for the most part I'm using adobe premiere for most of what I do.

Basic video creation and editing without unnecessary bells and whistles
Most of the videos I make for clients are quite short and do not require more sophisticated features than those offered by iMovie. So, iMovie is the ideal choice, for the most part. For all other instances, I use another video creation tool. Using iMovie makes the process of creating videos quick and easy.
PROSI love how streamlined the video creation process is in iMovie. Using iMovie makes the creation of simple videos a very quick and painless process.
CONSThere are times when some more sophisticated tools are necessary - say, for colour correction. iMovie is not equipped to handle such tasks, and so it is not always the best tool. However, it is meant to be a video creation product for basic needs and beginners.
Reason for choosing iMovie
iMovie was bundled for free with my Mac, and once I began using it I found that it was a fun program that could handle most relevant tasks.
