Live videos on YouTube bring higher numbers of views and subscribers. The more views I have for my videos, the more clicks I generate on my affiliate links that go along with the videos. The more clicks on my affiliate links, the more sales I make. Wowza Cloud Streaming is highly beneficial.

1. I wouldn't say I like downloads (except for the reason to try them), especially for software I use often. Hence, Wowza Streaming Cloud comes fast in the bargain for me because I wont download anything. I have been able to stream live from my browser as it can stream from any browser, and browser-based streaming is simple. 2. The capability to stream pre-recorded and pre-edited videos as LIVE videos on my YouTube channel is a winner all the way. It enhances my live video message as clarity and quality come to the fore. 3. The 1 Month Free Trial is top class and long enough for one to use and appreciate all what this tool can do. If your live streaming projects are for business, then within the trial period, you can make enough money to continue using it as a paid user after the trial is over. Thus the software owners have the poor me in mind as much as they think about the rich user. Talk about empathy!

The fact that you must pay for an upgrade to access better enhanced support is an apparent turn-off to start-ups on low budgets. Start-ups have the most questions and need full access to support services regardless of their membership status. They want to learn how to use the software to make money and come back to pay for the upgrade and not to be charged for learning your software. Asking for help to use your software correctly must never be paid for in any way.

This has been a great platform and we have been using it for years now.

Wowza Streaming cloud is a super solid live streaming platform that offers cloud transcoding, integration with other platforms and offers a lot of advanced features.

Faster support responses are an upgraded fee.

But from year to year, we had more problems. The support is bad. We cannot afford this support-Programms!

At first it was a good and easy software.

The social-media integration is not good enough

The quality of the emissions is very high, the engine is so powerful that it efficiently manages video transcoding. Sure, as long as the hardware requirements are met.

I have been using the Wowza video engine for several years, because it provides me with stability, key features to connect with social media, integration with a billing panel, and a powerful API.

The cost has been increasing over time and is one of the most expensive, but in my experience it is worth it.

Overall since making the move to Streaming Cloud we have been extremely happy with the support and reliability of the services.

We have been with Wowza for over 10 years, we started streaming our content on Streaming Engine from our network and have since made the move to Wowza Cloud which has allowed us to free up the bandwidth internally for other things. Wowza's customer support is fantastic and I don't think they get enough recognition for the work they do to solve any issues quickly and efficiently!

At the current time of this review statistics and information about streams are limited to viewership and bandwidth.

Wowza Cloud takes very little streaming knowledge to get up and running. The support team are very responsive and take your level of expertise with the product into consideration with their responses. We have used Cloud to power our two 24/7 live horse racing networks in out DTC OTT product in addition to a variety of multicasting across social platforms and have encountered very few issues over the 3 + years of service.

Missing some 'nice to have' features around VOD but the team are great with adding anything we raise to their roadmap and delivering updates on a timely basis

I appreciate that Wowza is working to implement features like ULL, LL-HLS. It's unfortunate that the industry in general has had to reinvent itself over the last decade as these features and many more were already working fine with Flash based solutions.

It could be a little daunting when creating new stream targets in the UI. Also, when consulting the usage for a given stream there is some false information that seems to creep in (for example, I doubt anyone from Nigeria or Peru were really tuning into my webcast - possibly through a VPN, but even then). It would be nice to have access to more detailed logs (actual IP addresses and viewing time per connection).

The product is easy to use and it is very reliable

A team parent is live streaming our football games using Wowza Streaming Cloud. This would be a big win for us in any season but this year it has been huge. The ease of capturing and sharing the video in real-time (and after the fact) allowed families to be apart of the games in a season where social distancing would have otherwise prohibited it. - A huge win!

While there is inevitably some feature improvement opportunity I really do not have any concerns at this point

The overall feature set provided by Wowza along with On-Demand pricing is rare. The service that they have provided is also excellent.

Setting up features like pass-through streams were not easily explained.
