Panel Management for Council
Contractor Compliance management and open and transparent procurement practices via market approach
PROSThe platform enables Council to effectively manage its panel arrangements of suppliers for core council business activities. It assists Council in contractor compliance management and the request for quote tool for repeat contractor engagement providing clear and transparent procurement processes meeting its legislative obligations.
CONSThe background colours could be improved on. It can sometimes be difficult to differentiate between data entry cells and the generic background. Data Analytics and reports / statistics would be ideal to be able to run by the user rather than a request to the help team.
Reason for choosing Felix
Felix captures Local suppliers that are not under the LGAQ arrangements with Local Buy. The clear segregation of suppliers under the separate contracted arrangements ensures Council can clearly demonstrate it is meeting its obligations for the development of competitive business and industry.

Vendor pre-qual, vendor compliance, contracts and management - all now easily achieved in one system, useable across the company.
PROSDoes all of what it claims. You get to use almost 100% of the capability unlike most systems.
CONSWould like to be able to customise some functions a little more rather than global controls

Really fantastic to use - I have recommended this to one more company already where my previous manager is working
PROSIt accommodates most of our procurement plan requirements and easy to produce useful reports for the senior management.
CONSScale the prices are currently in whole number increments but this needs to get in decimals so that we can scale the price more appropriately.

Felix Vendor and Contract Management Software review
I like the vendor managed model, where the vendor is responsible for maintaining the compliance documents and information. I also love the contract module, as it provides a level of contract visibility without too much input and ongoing management.
CONSLack of vendor engagement, including Felix involvement in prompting. Limitations in catering for multiple vendor's sub entities. Also restrictions in vendor's being able to update/alter their company details ie. ABN, change of contact.

Easy Vendor Management
Excellent experience. Easy to use and makes contract management and Request for Quote Processes easy.We used all the modules and the tied in well to enhance the overall procurement system.
PROSEasy to use, great customer service who took action quickly and discussed better options to get what we wanted. Easy downloads of data. Easy to use with Vendors.
CONSWe used Felix a bit differently to how it was set up for Client Contract Management but it worked well. Felix is still working on this new feature.

Great Tool!
As I am still a new user I have yet to discover all of the features, but what I am using has been fantastic - sending off the questionnaires to our prospective contractors and having the program do the rest is amazing!
CONSWould love an export feature for the answers as currently it isn't possible, but that's not a huge thing as we are only doing one or two at a time.

Trouble shooting is easily resolved with a helpful online and on the phone team. Price pint is very attractive compared to bigger competitors.

One of the key benefits I have found is provided by the product is the consolidation of the compliance requirements for vendors that our business seeks to engage. This assists in the procurement process shortening the lead time and reducing repetitive tasks across the business.
PROSI am not using the product frequently and I am still a beginner user, but I find the product easy to use.
CONSHave not used the product for sufficient time to be able to find shortcomings yet.

Headache Solved
Felix’ flexible approach allows us to tailor our various vendor pre-qualification needs by not only supply category, but also by region / project. We struggled to find this capability in any other platform, especially one that also streamlines the RFx process.
CONSThe platform doesn't currently manage the compliance of individuals as well as it does the compliance of a vendor as a whole, however I am told this functionality is on Felix's roadmap and should be available in future.

I could easily find or search vendor's drawings and status; the reports section helps too.
CONSSo far everything looks good, nothing to complain.
