The road to your personal successes, all on a slight of hand!
Exceptional, being a company involved in financial services we need to accomplish tasks and assignments in the fastest and more efficient possible way. Trello makes this way easier.
PROSTrello is an incredibly user friendly software, it's easy to use and you can quickly get familiar with the dashboard. For people who, like me, tend to organize things by "visual schemes" (eg. colors, lines ecc) trello is perfect! The possibility of creating different colored labels depending on the priority of a certain task will make the dashboard easy to access and fast to share. About sharing, the task assignment is really intuitive and catchy, you can either drag and drop the members of your team on a certain task or, for those who prefer more formal things, you can invite them by email to join a certain task. Mobile and Desktop interfaces are very stable, fast and fluid. Me and my team never came accross any critrical bug.
CONSThe thing I absolutely liked the least of the software is the fact that it's not possible to upload a custom picture for the background on Lite accounts but, of course, one does not buy trello just to get his custom background. So to sum up, no critical cons.
Reason for choosing Trello
Asana presented some major bugs and system instability and as far as we needed 10 people to access an assignment dashboard as fast as possible we could not rely on nothing less than Trello.

Trello is great, but there are better options out there for PM software
Trello has a lot of options for customization and the ease of use is unmatched. This is great tool for project management within teams and cross-departmental collaboration. This tool holds all active parties accountable for the overall timeline.
CONSSome of the features are difficult to locate and the customization becomes tedious. Customer service is very helpful, but it would be appreciated if customizing was a little easier.

Very simple and very organized
Overall the experience has been excellent and I use Trello daily to manage my workload and projects.
PROSI love that I can set up a Trello board in just a few minutes and it's functional and ready to be used. I also like how easy it is to integrate with Zapier so that I can include my Trello activity in other platforms that I use, and vice versa.
CONSTrello doesn't have a ton of moving parts, so while this is good for quick and easy setup, sometimes I have more advanced automated needs that it can't support, as a task and project management tool.
Reasons for switching to Trello
I switched software because Trello is much easier to use.

Love my Trello!
Excellent - their client care bends over backward to help you find a resolution when you have a query and are kind and easy to deal with. The product speaks for itself if you like Kanban visuals like I do, plus the ability to set it up according to your own productivity system, GTD in my case.
PROSI love that I was able to use AI to help me set my Trello up using GTD methodology. I love the backgrounds and have used both the free and paid versions. It's worth every penny and an excellent tool for bootstrapping entrepreneurs.
CONSThere's nothing I don't like about Trello!

Great product hidden behind barrier to entry
Once i signed up, it *appeared* that i couldn't advance without paying. After logging out and back in, it no longer asked that. But this is too confusing for teams of volunteers, so i went with a different product.
PROSOnce i got going with it, it was fairly easy to create projects, items, and assign them to team members.
CONSVery confusing sign up process. And less features than some other free options.
Reason for choosing Trello
I chose MindMeister and Meistertask over Trello.

Trello For A Small Marketing Agency
We use Trello for project management at a small advertising/marketing ageny.
PROSThe ease of use - the whole process of making cards and boards is very intuitive and user friendly.
CONSThe only thing I didn't like about the software was the lack of creating dependency on other cards - IE if there is a campaign that needs to be set up, but first a graphic designer needs to create a design, there isn't a great way to automate the campaign creation card to be assigned when the designer has completed their card. Trello has checklists, tagging, etc. that can be used to overcome this, but it's not as smooth as it could be.
Reason for choosing Trello
We liked that Trello was easy to use and had an intuitive design/UX. We also liked that Trello made it easy to include clients/partners in the board if needed.
Reasons for switching to Trello
We switched to Trello from ActiveCollab because we found that ActiveCollab worked really great when we were working with a few clients with larger projects, but when we had more clients/more projects it seemed cluttered.

Perfect for the Visual Planner
I use Trello mostly for planning out my content on my blog and my content for social media. It has been a great place for me to make lists of ideas and brainstorm. I have also used Trello with collaborative groups, which has been really great and easy to use. I integrate everything into my Google Calendar so that I don't end up missing any scheduled tasks I need to complete.
PROSI like that Trello is a planning system that works well for someone inclined to be more visual. Each category can have a series of cards below it for each individual item within the category. I love that I can add a link, image or color to each card to make it stand out and organize it even more. I also love that each board can have be categorized into various areas of my life. For example, I have a boards from anything to planning out my blog, to activities to do with the kids to brainstorming ideas for future work opportunities. I love that I can easily move the cards around and re-categorize them once they are done. Another amazing feature is that you can add these cards to a Google Calendar, which brings everything together for me and keeps me super organized.
CONSI wish there were more features available and a little bit more customization within each card itself. This program also requires a little bit of a learning curve to find where all the features and add-ons for each card are in the menu.
Reason for choosing Trello
I liked the visual appeal of Trello more and I liked being able to use Google Calendar and Google Drive with the platform.

Trello Review
We are using it as a tracking task progresses for Game development and also I use it as a tool for list bugs status.
PROSWhat I like the most on Trello is the way of moving the card or progress so easy to designated list, And i like also the assigning people to the card who are working on in with included due date with each task, The notification is so reliable for us to remind us things we need to work on and when the date line is near, it set it as a reminder for us. We are using trello for tracking task progresses and prioritisation. Also as a QA engineer for the communication with the developer I am using it to list all bugs and issues with the system and assign it with the programmers. I like : Labeling with colors The Shortcut keys Attaching files in each card and also links website
CONSWhat i did not like about it is that it does not have a graph or gant chart. And also to maximize the space the user can also move the list into the bottom of another list.
Reason for choosing Trello
Its very easy to use that we will not take time to learn more , because it is actually so basic . all functions are straight to the point.

Great Tool for Staying on Track
It's a great tool. The paradigm of board / list / card is easy to follow and simple to teach to even the most technophobic user.
PROSTrello's "board / list / card" format makes it great for sharing tasks and passing them over to other departments to track production flow. Our company produces upwards of 200 new products per year so the production details are passed between departments and handed-off with ease with this tool.
CONSThe Free Tier versus the Business Tier is a big jump. There's very little room to tiptoe into the commercial version of the tool. The Business version is expensive for large organizations. That being said, the free tier does everything we need it to do. The biggest downside of this system is that you can potentially back up the system by downloading json files, but there is NO TOOL to restore lost data! One would have to manually re-enter every card and every detail in the system which would be a disaster. They really do need to focus on their import/export abilities which are currently completely nonexistent.
Reason for choosing Trello
A department head had previous experience with Trello and was convinced it was the perfect tool for our needs. They were right.
Reasons for switching to Trello
Asana wasn't quite what we needed for our particular requirements, and Trello was very very easy to adapt to our needs.

I am getting so much more done
It was definitely worth the learning curve to figure out the best way for me to use Trello. And it really wasn't all that hard. I had to watch a few tutorials. Plus, because the software is so flexible. even when I made a few mistakes in setting up my first projects, I could easily restructure things within the setup. In other words, I didn't have to start over, I could simply change things as I went forward and noticed the need. This is great because with complex projects, even now that I know the software better, as project needs change, with Trello I can easily modify the tracking system I set up.
PROSTrello's software is very flexible. I can set it up to meet my needs and tailor it to the way I tend to track workflow. Whether a project is big or small, I can easily track the next step or steps needed to be completed to move the project forward. And it offers a simple way to see at a glance all the projects I am currently working on.
CONSBecause the software is so flexible and open-ended, it took me a while to understand how to use it. I had been using a different project managing software before Trello. It was much less flexible and as a result, easy to implement "out of the box ". But I quickly ran into its limits. With Trello, it feels like there are no limits but at the same time it took me longer to figure out how to use it."
Reasons for switching to Trello
The Trello system is extremely flexible in how I set up my organization workflow and it more matches my intuitive sense of how I track things from inception to completion.

Helpful for Small Projects, Hard to Scale
Trello has been very helpful for small teams projects and personal projects. It can be very quick for one to learn the basics, set-up and and collaborate with on a basic level. One needs to be mindful that Trello is harder to scale compared to JIRA, but much easier to gett started on. Trello has a free option that is worth trying to see if it will help your organization stay on top of projects and tasks, and is a more feature rich, online version of a sticky note board on a white board. Trello constantly has updated that make the proiduct more feature rich, and the new feature help with efficenceny and effectivenesss.
PROSTrello is very easy to get initialized and running for a small teams or projects, or to organize personal work. It makes it easy to take a list of tasks to do and put them in an organized manner to allow for collaboration and consistency, it is ideal for small teams and projects and is quicker to learn and initialize, when compared to JIRA. The user-friendly UX on the web and mobile is nice for new and experienced users. Trello is a nice alternative to Asana, and can be used as a substitute.
CONSI found that Trello is much harder to scale for big teams and projects. It does not seem as efficient of effective when managing bigger teams of developers working on multiple separate projects when compared to JIRA. Trello can be hard to maintain a sense of control for a project when there is a lot of moving parts. When trying to become an advanced Trello user, I found it took some time to get used to the product, and learn effecicent ways of using the product; it seems that there is no perfect way to use Trello.
Reason for choosing Trello
Easier to learn, Altassian product relaiiblity.
Reasons for switching to Trello
Easier to be under the Altassian family of products, though Asana was very good as well.

A very basic kanban solution
This is a good and easy solution for organizing agile projects. As it is easy, it doesn't implement all the core functionality of the kanban philosophy, for example, you only have one pool and one swimlane, so you are forced to organize the tasks only with tags, but once you get used to that, it works pretty well.
PROSThe integration of this tool to our business was easy, and the implementation of the kanban boards are well designed. You can create columns and tasks very quickly, and then organize using labels, or setting due dates and responsibles.
CONSIt's very basic it its native form. In short time you realize that you will need extend its native functionality with plugins. For example, if you need to breakdown the project or to generate some agile reports, you will need to setup external plugins for that. If you want a class entrprise kanban board, you will need to setup many plugins for that.
Reason for choosing Trello
Trello was easy to setup and configure. In JIRA you need much time to setup and find a workflow that fits your business. With Trello you only need to set the different statuses of the tasks, some tags, and you're ready to start tracking the projects. Also, it has a better way to share tasks with other people.
Reasons for switching to Trello
Redmine does not have a native kanban support. In general this is good, but it didn't fit against our business processes.

Very intuitive and easy to immediately
Trello has been a huge boost to staying organized with not just my big projects, but also with my daily tasks and staying organized in all of my activities.
PROSI've used both the paid and free versions of this platform and the free version is as simple to use as the paid version. You do get additional features with the paid version, but for managing your own tasks and projects the free version will still provide everything that you need. I've used a number of project management platforms and Trello stands out because it's very intuitive to use and organize the information you're working on.
CONSOccasionally, I wish Trello had some prompts on how to better organize information, but this isn't a deal-breaker. I really like it when software can help to save me from my own disorganization, and Trello primarily does that with a very simple setup, but I would also accept some prompts or suggestions too.
Reasons for switching to Trello
Asana was a good platform, but I found it to be overly complicated and convoluted at times. I wanted something simple and easy to use that didn't require much effort to organize.

Trello, the Collaboration Giant
Trello is helping us to solve the issue of collaboration and time tracking on our projects. We can now easily see work being done by each individual and even the time they spend. It has also solved our communication challenges by automating email notifications
PROSTrello really made our development team work better. The fact that you can line up tasks in lists and set card owners and due dates really did it for us. It is a very easy tool to use as setting up the board is just drag and drop. The vast number of power ups available also allowed us to extend its functionality and get more from the app. Another key feature that we fell in love with is the activity history that allows just a quick glance of recent board activity.Integration with our process was very easy as we follow the Agile methodology
CONSOf the improvements that I think can be done in Trello, one critical one would be native integration with the google calendar. This will be a huge benefit for planning and logging work on the calendar. Another downside is that there is no built in functionality for reporting and a Gantt chart. These would make life easier if added.

User Friendly and customizable Project Management application!
Adding users to the card, creating checklists, adding due date to not only to each card but to each sub-item is very handy. As the due date/time is close, there is a different color for you to easily understand your priority task. I liked that I could add and import checklists, copy cards, assign tasks to relevant users and once they are done, the cardmembers can be notified. You can easily archive cards as work is completed. Moving and reorganizing card between boards and lists is very handy. You do not need big planning to work with this application, you can start anywhere and enhance/organize it the way you want. That will save you lots of rework! This application is very convenient to work with contractors, they do not have to be on the organization Trello account, as long as they have a Trello account, you can work with them. You can add them to only cards they have a task assigned. We also integrated this with Slack and it is very convenient to get a notification on the slack channel.
PROSThe application is designed by keeping Kanban methodology in mind. It is very simple and easy to use. Well designed for any level of technical and project management experience. I love how I can organize lists, cards, and boards. I also like the level of security I can set up for each user and board. Trello is an inexpensive application. They offer freemium version as well. We used freemium in the beginning and as we grew, we upgraded to the paid version. Overall, I am very impressed with this project management application! You can organize your tasks well and communicate with the team by focusing on your priority and deadline.
CONSThis is by Atlassian software and I understand that JIRA is designed by keeping enterprise in mind, while this is more for small to mid-size businesses. So, it is not very convenient to manage sprints, etc for product development. You cannot use Trello for a large scale projects.
Reason for choosing Trello
We had some users in the organization familiar with Trello. I had familiarity with the kanban concept as well. Trello met our requirement and expectations. It is simply very convenient to use. The training required is minimal. Rework required is minimal for organization and planning, which means, we can focus on work to be done, and no need to manage an application.

Hello Trello
Trello is really the best, inexpensive project management tool you could ask for. Edits happen in real- time. Assigning team members and due dates are simple with the Kanban cards and Planyway calendar. In- platform reminders work flawlessly. Teaching project progress is easy for simple projects.
CONSThe one main drawback would be that there are a lot of plugins available to make more features and apps available (calendars, etc. ). This can be good, but sometimes can take you a little off course, since you have to generally leave the main Trello board and experience to access the extension features. It would be fantastic if more of the extension features were just built into the platform itself. This next part isn't so much a negative, but more of a heads-up as you start getting into complex projects with more moving parts. Unless you upgrade to a heavier duty business plan, tracking milestones for each card is tough. Example: your project has 3 parts. Each part requires 2 people to do 3 tasks each. Without the paid plan, it's tough to track who's assigned to which specific step for which specific due date without creating a separate card for each task. To assign due dates to each, you're now looking at tracking progress across 18 individual cards on the free plan. You can use a checklist, but can't assign due dates to the individual milestones/ tasks unless you're on the free plan. They have to make money (I fully get and support that!). Just know that as your projects grow in complexity, the amount you have to spend may grow with it. Not always, but sometimes. With that said, they are still the cheapest, somewhat full-featured project management tool that you can jump right into and begin using.

One of the best task management platforms
Trello has proven to be a versatile and reliable tool for managing team tasks and projects, and it has helped us stay organized and efficient. For instance, we used Trello to manage our product development process, which involved multiple teams working on different aspects of the product. With Trello, they were able to create boards for each team, assign tasks, and track progress, which helped them stay on schedule and meet their deadlines.
PROSTrello is a fantastic tool for team and task management due to its excellent features and intuitive user interface. One of the most significant advantages of Trello is the ability to create boards and lists, which makes organizing tasks and projects incredibly straightforward. This feature allows teams to track progress and collaborate more efficiently.Another essential feature of Trello is the ability to assign tasks to team members, set due dates, and add comments. This feature allows for clear communication and accountability within the team, ensuring that everyone knows their responsibilities and deadlines.Furthermore, Trello also offers integration with other apps, such as Google Drive and Slack, making it a versatile tool for managing team tasks and projects. Additionally, Trello is available on multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile, allowing for easy access and collaboration on the go.In conclusion, Trello is an excellent product for team and task management due to its user-friendly interface, organization features, communication tools, and integration capabilities.
CONSHowever, one disadvantage of Trello is the paywall for individual users who want access to premium features. While the price may not be high for businesses, it can be a barrier for small teams or individual users who want to take full advantage of Trello's capabilities. Nonetheless, for businesses and larger teams, the cost is a minor expense compared to the benefits and efficiency that Trello offers.

I have been using Trello for project management for the past two years. I've found it to be helpful!
Trello allows our team to keep all the relevant files for each project in one place. As a writer, I can attach reference photos for what I would like the designer to make. I can also post links to similar content. It also acts as a workflow space that is easy to follow because of its visual nature. We move cards from left to right as the project is moving through each stage of development. This makes it easy to check in on any given project.
PROSTrello's strength lies in the ability to attach all relevant files to a project in one easy to find location. I love that I can easily drag and drop photos onto the card. I like the process that my company uses of moving cards from left to right through different lists, because it allows me to see how quickly my coworkers are finishing a given task. I also appreciate the newly updated notifications tab because it allows you to see the edit history of a card without opening it completely. I also like that you can mark some notifications as read and leave others unread. I would love to see them take this even further by allowing users to write a comment on the card from the notifications tab, without having to open the card. The search function is a lifesaver. With hundreds of cards on our collaborative board, it can be very difficult to find one that is weeks or months old. I use the search function to find cards all day long!
CONSSometimes it can feel bit clunky. For instance, I don't like how clicking anywhere on the card closes the description field and gives you the message of "Unsaved edits have been made". It should just automatically save when you click off of the text box. This happens to me regularly and is a continual source of frustration and waste of time. Moving cards using drag and drop often fails and leaves cards where they started. Because of this glitch, I usually use the dropdown list on the card to move it instead. But it would be nice if the drag and drop was more reliable.
