Great All-inclusive Camp Software!

PROS

CircuiTree's system was created originally by one of the largest camps in the country and is made directly for camps. Their package includes a front end registration website, store website and inventory management, registration management, reporting and analysis, and marketing tools. Overall - it works well for our set up.

CONS

No major cons with this company. They provide great support when systems go awry. The backend user interface is sometimes tricky to manage but is getting better.

Convenient

Love it because it's all in one place.

PROS

Everything for camp registrations in one place. Health forms, Pictures using Bunk1, Camp store, parents only need to do things in one place.

CONS

Scheduling activities is challenging as an admin.

Reasons for switching to CircuiTree

Thriva wasn't working well our last year with them. And the store we had to manually move the money to a different pos system so it took a lot of time

Very Robust Software but Poor Support

Overall, the software has many great features that we did not have with our last software. And for the most part it works well. But the lack of support and steep learning curve to navigate it really needs to be addressed. The support was awesome during implementation but after that you feel like you were ghosted.

PROS

Circuitree is a very robust software and can manage HR, Registration, Transportation, Donors and Camp Store all in one place.

CONS

The support is terrible. The never answer the support line so you can never get quick help. You have to leave a message and wait hours for them to return your call. Or submit a ticket and a lot of time it takes several back in forth emails to get them to understand the problem. It's very frustrating and time consuming . They are all super kind, just not very experienced with the software.

Reason for choosing CircuiTree

We loved the CT6 registration for our families because it was mobile friendly. Their camp store and HR functions are very robust and help us keep everything in one place.

Reasons for switching to CircuiTree

We needed a better Camp Store and HR function than Ultracamp couldn't deliver. But I so miss Ultracamp's customer support. It was second to none.

One of the best options for camp center

If you have a mid-range to larger camp, CirciuTree is probably your best solution. Unfortunately, their customer service has been slow and the speed at which they roll out updates is even slower.

PROS

One of the few software solutions for camps.

CONS

Low customization compared to modern software products, not super user-friendly front-end views, seems to be continually "broken" in that our users are constantly finding bugs during daily operations, and very few integration options with our other software products.

friendly, personal, intuitive

PROS

CircuiTree totally revolutionized our camper registration and check in process. The amount of parent phone calls regarding registration dropped off significantly, and so, SO many things were made much easier thanks to the user-end experience. The back-end experience is pretty intuitive and provides quite a lot of customization for us. It's built for camps, by people who run camps. Often times the things we thought made us weird are already addressed by CT!

CONS

There are a few quirks, but the support from the team at CT is pretty great. They're personal and friendly. They're improving things regularly, but the relatively small dev team means that some fixes are delayed in getting rolled out.

expensive and clunky

Don't like it at all, but stuck with it due to payment processing regulations by our University. No other software ties into the payment processing we need.

PROS

You can connect a photo of a child to their account.

CONS

There is no user-support site or manual. All tech advice or support has to process through a ticket. reports are regularly screwed up. No unique participant lists. Parents cannot receive family bill summaries (all by individual child). Horrible software for a day camp. Expensive. Changes are made to layouts without notice. Reports and queries are awful to trim up and use.

Better than our previous software

PROS

It is very easy to find any customers in the system and all necessary details about them.

CONS

It can be difficult trying to log in from a different device unless you have the exact URL for your company. I've been sent to log in screens for multiple different camps before I was able to correctly find the right URL for my company's log in.

All the Bells & Whistles -- but clunky

PROS

Circuitree has everything you need out of the box for any camp, conference or retreat center ranging from first aid, point of sale store, online store, registration system, donor management, retreat calendar.

CONS

Circuitree was very cumbersome to use and extremely expensive compared to other competitors.

Powerhouse for Data

PROS

We use CircuiTree to collect all of our data for our camp programs from team listings, to kids names and parent contacts, and travel information. Having a centralized location to find all of our information is very helpful.

CONS

It can be a little hard to understand and manipulate at times.

Amazing registration system

PROS

This system has been customized to our organization to assist with everything from purchases to transportation information to participant registration itself.

CONS

There are two variations of this system. While I mostly use the CT6 version, there are still items in the CT5 version that haven't migrated over yet. Having to back and forth between the two systems can be tedious. So while this is a dislike of the program, it is important to note that the migration of features is constantly being done.

Customizable Camp Management Software

PROS

I have been using CircuiTree for over a year now and I am really happy with the system. The interface is easy to use, the features are great and it's easy to customize. I've explored a lot of camp management software options but this is my favorite so far! I would highly recommend CircuiTree to any camps looking for a reliable, easy-to-use camp management software!

Worth the money

I worked with them in 2016. They were great to help set up and run. I don’t currently use them as I have switched camps but recommend to everyone

PROS

It does everything!!! Easy to use and very customizable

CONS

Cost- but worth it. It can be pricey especially for larger camps but worth every penny
