WCC-Lite is a cloud-based church management solution created by web church connect. It offers a suite of applications to help churches manage multiple aspects of their organization, from members and donations to communications and ministries.

Members can access the church’s online directory, automate their donations, enroll in courses and events and submit prayer requests. The church’s system administrator grants access to members’ areas in order to ensure the security of personal information.

WCC-Lite’s features include child check-in that allows members to print a nametag and parent copy for their children. Email or SMS portal gives church leaders the ability to communicate with selected groups in a single message and a donations module to track total giving, run reports and allow members to make donations online.

The solution is capable of supporting churches of all faiths and sizes. Pricing is per month.

    I love that everything has been thought of within the software. I don't know if there's anything that I could think of to add to this software.

    Cons

    Some of the training manuals and videos are outdated which makes it hard to make necessary changes and updates.

    Options -- from members, to events, to calendars, etc.
    Ease in posting pictures and/or pulling them off of FaceBook.

    Cons

    1) Dislike going back to "the beginning" of members field after inputting data say in the members in the middle of the alphabet. 2) The directory print out is "cumbersome" and in its current format takes up too much paper. 3) Trying to learn how to print off reports is what we're challenged in learning currently. 4) The need to have each person have an email account (per individual). Lots of couples share their home email. Better to switch it to having each person have a cell phone number (and maybe emails as a secondary way to connect)

    The communication function take longer than it should. There seem to be glitches quite often.

    That it is a web-based database, and that we are getting a good financial deal. I like to see that there are improvements periodically.

    Cons

    Needing to contact customer service too often. Lag on communications function. The training videos do not cover enough of the functions and options. Sorting/filter function is very slow and not user-friendly.

    Real people answer the phone. Great no strings demo period. Easy to use interface for online donations like Paypal, Givelify, they are always adding more. They imported all my members and was always there to answer any questions.

    Cons

    Importing the data was the hardest part but they helped me for free. After that the learning curve was not bad. Any change takes a little time

    Pros

    The ease of use. The design & simplicity of the software. WCC's willingness to create solutions in the software so that its more effective for churches is priceless. The software by itself is great, and with WCC being constantly willing to make changes and updates is invaluable.

    Cons

    There are no cons that I can think of. Any cons that the program may have had, when I bring to WCC, they have been willing to create a software update and resolve! praise God! I was hoping someone would be able to replace Miriam (WCClite), however correspondence has been excellent, so no issues there!

    It is easy to track and print out statements. I do wish we could make the statements print smaller on all of our computers.

    Pros

    I like the ease of putting in envelopes. I like being able to get birthdays and other information without going to several different pages.
    I love the fact that you can make changes from most of the pages you go to.
    The videos are great to help you in any area that you are not familiar with .

    Cons

    Sometimes I have to go out of a page to get it to work. When you try to get donation totals for a certain day it want take the last date.

    Quick member viewing and filtering, automatic directory publishing and printing, the ability to put people on ministries and be able to contact them together, and a lot more we haven't gotten to yet!

    Pros

    Our database functionality has nearly tripled by switching to WebChurch Connect, and it is easy to get a hold of support members when I have any question or issue.

    Cons

    It seems that the team is still working out some bugs in the software, so I had to make a number of phone calls and emails to explain what wasn't working.

    I like that I can sign in anywhere and that our church members can access it if they so choose too. Very nice that it is web based.

    Cons

    It is not very user friendly for our members and its terminology is confusing sometimes. Not a great option for smaller churches like ours who don't have many classes, schools, etc. Also, when I run membership reports it leaves some members off each time.

    The price point is spot on maybe even a little too low. Overall ease of use on a web format is good too. It's more than capable of accomplishing a ministries needs. If someone is hard on this software they need to think about the price point, this does more than what someone is paying for.

    Cons

    Of you get down into it for day to day operations and need to quickly set things up, not so easy. Reports need to be improved big time, too clunky and time consuming to generate a good clean report, the process just isn't a clean simple one.

    Consolidation of year end contribution statements, more overall buy in form the congregation and a means of mass communications via email and text.

    Pros

    The software enables us to reach out to our congregation via text and emails and in addition it provides a platform for our congregation to interact with us.

    Cons

    It is a little difficult to "onboard" new members into using the website. The process requires someone to familiarize each new person with the system.

    Keeps our membership database in good shape. Straightforward financial management and reporting.

    Pros

    It's online, in the cloud, available from anywhere. We don't need to keep local backups. Changes made in one place are made in all places.

    Cons

    UI isn't intuitive. It can be hard to find features that we don't regularly. Sometimes changes to membership don't "take." Inactivated or deleted members keep showing up in reports.

    Simplicity, and staff is workable and available. Entering names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, birthdays, are simple if you know a little of Microsoft excell. Transfer was seemless

    Cons

    Some things can still be improved. I.e. if events are bi-weekly must enter in twice. Or 3xs per month must enter in 3 times. Also, must delete and input all information to edit.

    I use as a "People" Database, keeping basic information of membership and also for offering donations, statements, and reports.

    Pros

    Quickly looking up a member, ability to download reports and data. I appreciate the customer service - always answer right away and I can talk to an actual person. I like the ability to give different levels of access to other users. A lot of information can be kept - if needed or wanted.

    Cons

    The movement from screen to screen is not intuitive. Hidden pop-ups on some screens do not inform of options until you are far into a project. Some tasks - like statements could be more straightforward. The entry of donations is slow and screens do not always reliably update. Fewer options might be better in general for the average user, rather than trying to be all things for all people.
