  • Pros

  • It's easy to use and has a very short learning curve. You quickly become very productive with this tool and can accomplish takeoffs substantially faster with considerable greater accuracy.
  • The product is easy to use and the customer support is outstanding. The price was very good.
  • One of the significant advantages in using QM rather than the old-fashioned method is the verification process to clearly point out what was taken-off. QM support is as good as it gets.
  • Cons

  • However, if you simply want footages with no calculations needed, very little configuration is needed. Missing some automated features that full suite software contains.
  • There is no way to change scale once it is set. You have to reload the sheet and reset the scale.
  • This is a real handicap. Also, the manual is difficult if you've never used this type of product before.

  • All in all an extremely good, cost effective solution that integrates well with Xero and all of our clients are always happy with the solution.
  • Aside from it is very easy to use, what I like about this software is the accuracy of its report. The software has excellent functionalities, we like that we can estimate the project cost so easily.
  • Significant job and task templating abilities allow multiple activity streams to be systematised within one application. Powerful reporting engine with the ability to extend with custom reports.
  • Cons

  • The support is terrible, reports are clunky at times and you need to pay extra to unlock half decent reports.
  • Not too much else that is a problem - especially for the price.
  • It really takes time to master the software. What I find also confusing is that you can add returns for individuals under the company account where they are owners or shareholders.
