#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

What I liked most about Sales Outlook is great for your business communication tool for the beginning of the day and the end of the day. It has so many advanced features to keep you organized. For example, calendar, and being able to mointor your sales performance for the business that you are prospecting for. Your able to track customers data and forecast activity throughout the day, weekly and monthly. This great added feature because this will lead to improved sales and activity and happy customers. The Sales outlook allows you to track sales productivity on a day to day basis.Great tool to use

#### Cons

What I like least is that needs to be more automation features but overtime I am sure it will improve generally.

My overall experience with SalesOutlook CRM has been positive. It’s a cost-effective solution that works seamlessly with Outlook, making it easy to learn and adopt. I found it especially useful for sales management, reporting, and email marketing, since everything is connected in one place. While it may lack some of the advanced customization and modern UI of larger CRMs, it delivers reliable performance, strong security, and solid value for small to mid-sized teams that rely heavily on Outlook.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I really liked how SalesOutlook CRM combines Outlook with CRM features in a simple, cost-effective way. From a value for money perspective, it’s affordable compared to many other CRMs while still offering solid functionality. In terms of security, integration with Outlook and Exchange provides enterprise-level data protection

#### Cons

What I liked least about SalesOutlook CRM is that because it is so tightly tied to Outlook, it can feel limiting if your team uses other email platforms or tools.

#### Reasons for switching to SalesOutlook CRM

I made the switch because I wanted a CRM that worked directly within Outlook, eliminating the need to constantly switch between multiple platforms. SalesOutlook CRM offered a simpler learning curve, better value for money, and strong email marketing and sales tracking features compared to my previous tool. It gave me a more streamlined workflow and improved overall productivity.

### Outlook-Friendly CRM That Keeps Things Simple

- Overall rating: 4/5

- Product usage: Used daily for less than 12 months
- Reviewed: August 2025

Sales Outlook CRM is easy to use, especially if you already work in Outlook. Setup is quick, and it’s simple to turn emails and meetings into contacts, companies, and deals. The pipeline view is clear, search is fast, and basic reports are enough for weekly check-ins. It’s not great for heavy customization or complex automations, and integrations outside the Microsoft world can be limited. Mobile works but isn’t amazing. Overall, it’s a solid, no-frills CRM for teams that live in their inbox and want something straightforward without a long setup or training. Overall easy on the learning curve.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

As a job recruiter what I like best is not having to switch in Outlook: Being able to turn any email or meeting into a tracked candidate or client record without leaving the inbox is the biggest win. It feels like a natural extension of Outlook rather than “another tool.”

#### Cons

Mobile use, automation and reporting need improvement. Mobile experience is just okay: You can do essentials on the go, but heavy recruiters who live on mobile may find it cramped or slower than best-in-class mobile apps. Automation isn’t very rich: Simple workflows and reminders are fine, but advanced, branching automations, multi-step cadence builders, and lead/candidate scoring are limited without add-ons. Reporting and analytics are basic: Good for pipeline snapshots, but not for advanced forecasting, cohort analysis, or custom dashboards without exporting to Excel/Power BI.

SalesOutlook CRM worked well for our team that lives in Outlook and wanted CRM features without a full reset. If you’re already Outlook‑centric it’s a smart fit; if you need advanced CRM features you might outgrow it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I liked how it sits right inside Outlook so our team didn’t have to switch apps and all our emails, contacts and tasks felt connected. The reporting and pipeline tracking got us more visibility without a lot of extra training.

#### Cons

I didn’t like that the interface felt a little outdated and the mobile experience wasn’t as smooth as desktop. Some customization and modern CRM features felt missing compared to bigger competitors.

### It works the way our brains work!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Customer support: 4.5/5
- Functionality: 4.5/5

#### Pros

We have been using SalesOutlook only for a short time in our business. We decided on SalesOutlook for two main reasons: 1) It is integrated with the Outlook email client which we already use, and 2) It appeared to be intuitive, i.e. it works like the way our brains work … well some of us anyway. The main problems with any CRM software are to do with inputting accounts, contacts, sales opportunities etc. from a previous CRM. However, this is more due to the way the previous CRM dealt with data rather than SalesOutlook. I have to say, though, that SalesOutlook was quicker than our last CRM at inputting our data. We got the Quickbooks integration module. We already used Quickbooks but we thought it would make life easier to be able to use it in SalesOutlook rather than have to go into Quickbooks separately. For this to work there has to be a dedicated computer that would switch on at a given time to download the last days invoices from Quickbooks. This is usually the administrator’s computer. However, because we have to leave it on all the time we decided to use a netbook, which seems crazy I know but it works fine. There will be more challenges as time goes on but as we come across them it makes us more familiar with the process. Each company requires a different way of working with a CRM so there will be changes and updates. That was the same with our previous CRM. Set up is part and parcel of any CRM and it takes time and SalesOutlook is no exception. The technical support team work hard to help you through the process and solve problems. The only fly in the ointment is the training. The time allotted to it isn’t enough. We learned a lot through trial and error, and maybe that’s the better way to learn anyway. Overall, for our business, it works great. I would say to ask me again in 6 months, but when asked if they’d rather go back to the old one, I get a resounding “No!”

#### Cons

If I had to choose something to dislike it would be the time to set it all up. However, the set up time is the same for most CRMs so it isn't really a salesoutlook problem alone. Training needs more time, but as I said in the full review we learned more from trial and error.

### Full integration with MicroSoft Outlook is valualble, but can be offset by the challenges of working as a MicroSoft partner.

- Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years
- Reviewed: May 2018
- Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered

I think the overall value is good because we are a dedicated Microsoft Outlook office. I would like to see SalesOutlook lower the cost for the integrated email components and modules so we can do basic email services without much more cost and less learning.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The full, seemless integration into our corporate desktop and office applications is exceptional, and saves us time.

#### Cons

Lack of full functionality for customized and complete forms in the mobile app are a weakness, and Microsoft itself causes various upgrade problems that get in our way. The system needs some stronger "self-programming" or development tools for customization.

Customer service is rude and slow to answer. This program requires LOTS of training to use to it's full potential. It's not worth the huge amount of training time. There are no online videos or quick how-to guides. DO NOT buy this product! The company is NOT honest. You are required to have an Office 365 account prior to set up. If you don't have one they will make you one and never tell you. It is a security threat. No interaction with this company since our purchase has built any kind of trust.
