### About Ascent360

Ascent360 is a customer data platform that helps businesses analyze customer data to improve engagement with the target audience. The solution automatically scrubs customer records, which removes duplicate contacts and cleans contact details using the National Change of Address (NCOA) dataset.

Ascent360 includes audience segmentation functionality, which allows organizations to create custom segments based on customer preferences, purchase history, demographics, product value and other data. It offers a host of features such as data enrichment, compliance management, automated emails, custom reporting and more. Additionally, marketers can design and send personalized emails and social media messages using customizable templates and an image library.

Ascent360 supports integration with various third-party applications such as Amazon S3, Bronto, BigCommerce, Eventbrite, Google Adwords, Facebook and more. It is available on monthly subscriptions and support is provided via phone email and other online measures.

The service you get from Ascent is the highlight. They are great partners who can help you accomplish anything you set out to do. They're willing to let you be as autonomous or hands on as you need. As our sophistication as an org grew, they're ability to evolve and become more consultative and strategic matched it.

Cons:

It's getting better, but at times the speed of the software is slower than what I've seen from other systems.

Beyond Ascent 360's capabilities as a unified platform for customer data, email marketing, and SMS marketing, they also offer the best customer service in the game. Ski resort data is notoriously complex, and Ascent 360's support team understood our data as well as we did — which made transitioning off our previous platform seamless. Their willingness to assist with customer segmentation, email and SMS automations, and general database questions that served our business was truly exceptional. This is one of the best decisions we made at Powder Mountain that really improved our marketing capabilities.

Cons:

The platform's depth of features can feel overwhelming at first — but that's really a reflection of how robust the tool is. Once you're up and running, that same depth becomes one of its biggest strengths.

A True Extension of Our Team

Working with Ascent360 felt less like managing a vendor relationship and more like partnering with an extension of our own team. What stood out most was the team and the level of support they provided. It never felt like we were just working with a vendor. It felt like we were working with people who were part of our internal team and genuinely understood our systems, processes, and business. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, which made a big difference when navigating complex integrations, customer data, segmentation, and marketing activation needs.

What I liked most about Ascent360 was the combination of strong customer support, reliable database management, and deep industry knowledge. Their team was responsive, easy to work with, and understood the unique needs of the our industry, and destination marketing space. Ascent360 helped make complex customer data more usable and actionable, especially when it came to complex integrations, managing guest records, segmentation, and campaign activation. It was clear they understood both the technical side of the database and the real-world marketing use cases we were to supporting.

Cons:

There can be a learning curve when first getting familiar with the UX, especially for users who are newer to database management or segmentation. Once our team became more familiar with how the platform is organized, the workflows made sense and became easier to navigate.

From the very beginning, Ascent360 has provided Alpine Shop with an integrated database from multiple sources that we could use effectively to get our marketing messages out to our customers on a timely and interest-based manner. Along the way, they have been instrumental in helping us get a better idea of what aspects of our marketing were most successful and getting direct feedback from our customers. We've worked with Ascent360 for more than 10 years at this point, and every account manager that I have worked with has helped add more and more effective tools for us to use. Can't recommend them highly enough

Cons:

The only thing that I have had problems with have been almost exclusively with the audience selector which can hang on some requests. Every time that issue has come up, however, an account rep has taken care of the issue in a matter of minutes.

The support team has always been incredibly responsive, helpful and thorough. It has really made the onboarding and maintenance far more manageable than this complex tool would be otherwise. I like the rapid fire ability to upload and begin using segmentation lists via email and social.

Cons:

I think this program is far more complex than I have time to fully work through as a marketing department of 1.

Goldilocks would say that Ascent360 is just right! I have worked with several CRM systems over the years and found many to either be too small/limited or too big/complex, but Ascent360 has been a perfect fit for Mike's Bikes. Customizations and support where needed, but with powerful tools out of the box to get up and going right away.

Cons:

Haven't found anything that I didn't like so far. When we needed some minor customizations to improve our workflows we found the developers to me extremely knowledgeable and able to address all of our needs.
