Best product for RPA

Great experience also for who is not a developer. Without skills about programming you are able to see a good solution. A great possibility also related to templates installed yet in Studio solution (such for example Frameworks).

Pros

I think is the best solution (we had a trial also on competitors platform) for:
- easy to use
- visual display
- Microsoft embedded activities

Cons

Just setup a test environment is not so easy. You need help about licensing.

UIPATH: The implementation has been fast, simple and effective

Download of the webs of the banks of the daily movements, and entry of all of them in the ERP. Distribution of transfers to other departments for their control and management. Optimization of medical consultation time-table..

Pros

The involvement of UIPath with the project has been essential in its success. They have helped us to develop and implement, in training and in the identification of new robotic processes. We have tried other tools, but only UIPath has had the versatility to adapt to the different projects we wanted to start

Cons

UIPath version updates (very frequent) sometimes involve manual activation of components used in the design of the robots. It is not automatic.

Easy RPA tool to get started with

Automation of a range of processes, mainly in Operations, with clusters in Payments, Collections and Financial Crimes. We have had (obviously) efficiency benefits, as well as risk reduction and even direct fee revenue due to consistency of application of business rules.

Pros

Free academy, combined with a business-approachable, graphical development model has allowed business SME's to easily follow their projects in an agile manner, and has also enabled us to start reskilling the company, transition some operations staff into full time RPA developers.

Cons

I think the issue is support in our timezone (GMT+10). The best staff have always been in a very different timezone, which has meant difficult support cases result in late night work.

RPA implementation in a Global Business Service of a global mining and metal company

Our global company has various legacy systems and manual process. UiPath is a very good tool to avoid manuality and save time on tasks which can be done by a robot instead of humans so our colleagues can focus on value added activities.

Pros

Intuitive usage and short learning path for developers. Various possibilities to use connected tools such as OCR, AI, process mining...

Cons

The 1st level support sometimes slow and asking irrelevant questions. The user right management capabilities of the Orchestrator component needs some improvements.

Pros

The Studio tool: environment for development with a lot of components.
Easy to test or simulate the process.
Flexibility to use attended or unattended robots

Cons

The architecture and database requirements for Orchestrator.
The price of Orchestrator Licenses.

Great tool for automation

Pros

UIPath has a very intuitive user interface, which allows people with little programming knowledge to easily "assemble" robots from pre-built components (activities). Also, the choice for VB.Net as programming language was very wise, as many users are not from the IT field, but instead had previous knowledge in developing macros in Excel.

Cons

The cost of licenses is discouraging to small/medium business, especially in developing countries. Also the licenses themselves are hard to understand. One kind allows you to run your robot while developing it in the Studio, but you are not supposed to run in production environment, although technically you could. There's also another one that only use to run the robots, but technically you can use it with the Studio for development (except for the Debugging functionality).

Easy to develop and automate the existing product.

So far experience is good. As I already mentioned easy to use and implement. I developed a BOT which replaced our manual batch jobs executions.

Pros

Drag and drop feature. Just need to know the key words, it automatically inherit its properties.

Cons

Somehow I feel it is little difficult to implement on cross platforms. Like if my product is developed on Unix platform and want to automate something on Unix which I didn't able to do it. As it is mainly running on Windows.

Easy Accessible RPA Software

We are using UiPath to create proof-of-concepts to automate expenses, and many Oracle systems, using it as both integrations and form filling.

Pros

UiPath is easy to use and to get familiar with, while being very powerful. Excellent training scheme included through UiPath academy.

Cons

Naming conventions for variables can get complicated for beginners, requires memorizing/documenting/googling specific variable types often.

Pros

Ease of development and implementation and access to support.

Cons

It would be great if in training we had more complex examples.

World best software that I have ever experienced

Whatever you feel , if you have a logic with uipath nothing is impossible

Pros

This product can heavy work with data entry, most of software if working with didnt allow you to directly input data to DB , this is the simple Solution that fullfil the requirement by using bot to enter data into any 3rd party application easily, its not about entering data also the accuracy, speed, reducing human interaction, any more..

altho think about the officer working on midnight.. so what about a bot working on 27/7 without having any salary , without using your resources, how would save Money for your company.

Cons

It's about security, not about the software but this can be use to make very harmful things via robot

Eg : can create thousands millions of fake accounts, trying user credentials and etc

Best Robot Process Automation SW

We implement some robots in order to automate a lot of ativities that require repetitive actions like manipulation excel files. We deploy robot that help us to schedule activities during the day and to get only the output. In this way we optimize our time. We deploy processes and robot in any areas and they improve a lot our productivity and optimize our time.

Pros

The best feature is the possibility to schedule the processes and automatize the execution of them.

Cons

The disadvantages is the continue release of this software. Too many release.

Best Automation tool.Implementation was easy.Excellent community and customer support.

I was automating a legacy application and that has helped our client in many ways, by saving cost, reducing the manual human efforts to do the repetitive jobs also the time saved helped to expand into many new business verticals. Also the over all experience improved a lot and huge satisfaction achieved.

Pros

Helped to automate Legacy applications and the solutions built are very robust and also the support that we have got from the Uipath team is excellent. We have also got very large community base for multiple queries and hence over all a good product to work and design solutions. Quickly new releases are being added with most latest technology's being integrated in quick succession time.

Cons

There is so much good in the application and helps us to achieve everything hence there is nothing that I dint like about the tool currently.

Great experience using the product

UiPath can automate everything with its features I can automate things that I would be able to automate using other tools

Pros

the user friendliness that uipath studio offers and the big community behind that backs every other member and new comer.

Cons

Nothing so far maybe the rate of releases but this is only because the tool is still fresh and there is a big room to improve it.

Transforming business processes with robotic automation

The experience has been great. UIPath has one of the best online academies. Their certification program also includes theoretical and project based components. This mixture ensures you fully understand RPA and UIPath in order to be certified. The software is very intuitive and you can just jump in and start creating automation robots. However, we have found it is worth the time investment to do it properly and learn the ReFramework.

Pros

UIPath is extremely flexible able to automate both very simple and fairly complex tasks. The ReFramework template provides a very structured and scalable framework for development. While the framework can be a bit overkill for small projects for larger projects especially ones involving multiple developers it provides a versatile framework for development and automation reusability.

Cons

The amount of resources required to run the software is more than the standard resources the PCs have at our company. Even with all other applications close UIPath can still run a bit slow. If other programs are open then UIPath runs slugish and the PC can potentially crash. Make sure you properly plan for at least the minimum specifications and do not skimp out on your PC requirements.

UiPath for process automation

We have been focusing on internal process related to asset management where UiPath has been helping us to reduce time and accuracy in the pull of information

Pros

I have been doing tests with UiPath to validate their automation capacity for some internal processes with very successful results. We are still validating other functionalities and cases to confirm the possible benefits that we can get.

Cons

So far, I do not have not have any problems during our testing

UiPath is a best platform for Intelligent Process Automation

We are using UiPath platform for back-office end-to-end process automation, combine with OCR and cognitive services

Pros

Good UI/UX, set of Core activities, Excel activities, all the Cognitive activities, Python and Customer and other activities gives a developer enough to automate many processes, UiPath Go (good platform for community for knowledge sharing), UiPath Academy (best courses apart of other vendors)

Cons

DevOps support, CI/CD, robots update, deep integration with BPM services, Pricing model might be diversified for MSB
