Extremely easy to understand and use the development and design componentd UI studio.

    No coding experience required

    Cons

You need to have really good machines to work with UI studio. Executing the automations by UI robots takes up lot of memory.

Strong offerings from a well supported RPA tool

    Ease-of-use
    Functionality
    Quality
    Support
    Value for Money

We used UiPath to automate a reporting and emailing task, and it was easy to program and put into production. I quickly came to use the Community forum as good support. The free Community Edition allows a large base of developers to come to my assistance. The RPA team in my organization will continue to expand past Proof of Concepts and Supplemental process refinement.

    Pros

I love that there's a free trial version of UiPath. When it came time to decide what Robotics Process Automation tool we wanted to use, having the ability to try it out before purchasing or consulting vendors was great. Some other RPA tools only offer this when making a sales pitch or POC at the corporate level, but UiPath let me designate my own RPA specialist to try it out.

I also enjoy the ability to add code in the processes. You can drag and drop necessary items as well, making it easy for non-developers to build as well. I also like the fact that you can run everything through the browser Orchestrator and the System Tray as well. It would be a quick process to set up remote servers and have a VM instead of installing UiPath on many local machines.

    Cons

Coding options, as great as it was to have, is a bit limited. You can use .NET languages but I think Java and other languages are not supported yet. Still, I think this will be remedied quickly in the future.

UiPath has a good user interface which makes the workflow design easy with less coding.

    Ease-of-use
    Functionality
    Quality
    Support
    Value for Money
    Pros

Among other RPA tools currently available in the market, UIPath is relatively easier to learn. It uses flow diagram approach to formulate a business flow for coding perspective.

The tool uses mostly drag and drop syntaxes which are already available in the tool, and requires less coding.

Development cost is low and ROI is high for this tool.

    Cons

The coding option is somewhat limited in this tool and hence when some custom modification is required to cater the business need, or integration with any third party API is required to meet the business requirement, it becomes a challenge.

The tool does not have the cloud based system - which is a big drawback.

    automation

    Pros

Automation of any task on the web browser like finding some products on marketing site and storing the price of products in spreadsheet.
Ability to automate things on desktop like clearing the cache, or running a program based on some schedule.
Ability to also connect and automate tasks in Citrix environment.
In built support of OCR from Microsoft and Google.
UiPath studio helps in building the automations and real time debugging.
UiPath Orchestator to manage and schedule the automations, but this is available only in EE version of the tool.
Free web based and self paced training available and also helps getting certified.
Great developer community site which helps in queries and resolutions.
Webinars and video tutorials are available which help build the skill.
Easy and intuitive tool, any person with basic programming knowledge can learn and master this tool.

    Cons

In CE edition of the tool, very less features are available for trying out the development.
Sometimes, query selector does not select the data from web page correctly, it has to be edited manually.
It does not work when there is a Captcha or machine check on the website.
It would be good if UiPath will come up with some solution to resolve this downside.

Manually done activities are automated by using this tool. This is saving lot of time. Rapid growth is found as the processes are automated by UI Path.

    Pros

This tool provides training videos for no cost which I like most. It has a very clear user interface. The best thing which I like in this tool is Drag and Drop activities it helps in providing effective coding.

    Cons

This tool is not easily understandable. I feel that someone using this tool should have knowledge on programming and coding.

A brilliant RPA product to start with!

    Ease-of-use

    Quality
    Support
    Value for Money
    Pros

The active user forums for this product make life much easier while stuck on a problem. The drag and drop interface couldn't have been made any simpler. If nothing works then there is also a record feature available to record your actions that you might want to automate.

    Cons

There are so many features available yet their reach does not seem so clear. There could be better user manuals to facilitate in finding better solution.

UiPath is a software robot that aims to manipulate the presentation layer of the applicationsoftware

    Ease-of-use
    Functionality
    Quality
    Support
    Value for Money
    Pros

Beauty of RPA is that it is designed to relieve human workers of their mundane and repetitive daily tasks. When technology manages these tasks and workflows, the process runs much faster and thereafter more efficiently.
A centralized management platform provides organizations with the ability to remotely model, monitor, control, schedule, and execute the RPA software robot deployment. Because some requirements can be incorporated into automation rules, RPA allows organizations to improve governance to better manage business operations. In addition, high levels of security can be maintained by remote control of the software robots by the server.
When technology makes heavy lifting, as is the case with RPA, production can be greatly increased. In addition, knowledge workers will be released to apply their skills and experience to larger projects that drive innovation and growth.

    Cons

Budget cuts are among the main reasons why companies choose not to implement RPA.
Many people believe that in order to take advantage of the automation of robotic processes, the end user must have significant technical know-how. This misconception often prevents them from reaping the many benefits offered to them.
The adoption of a new technology requires a change, but with the right tool, the impact of this change is much less noticeable and disruptive than many realize.
Another common concern of those who resist the RPA is the fear that robots will replace human workers, while its main purpose is to support humans in the workplace.

    N/A
    Value for Money
    Pros

Very robust, training is free to build up the current knowledge and skills demand. Training material is quite good and takes the person from basics to advanced features pretty well.

    Cons

It is a little bit technical, although that makes it very robust because uses .net functions (which are massive), it becomes a bit more difficult when trying to teach to RPA to a person that has no programming / IT background.

It's something new and exciting. The end result is satisfying and fun to see. I am able to now automate a lot of my companies tedious, manual processes.

    Pros

    Easy to use
    Works as expected
    Little-to-no coding experience required
Interacts with both web and desktop applications
Can create long and complex processes
    Innovative, intuitive and unique

    Cons

No ability to input own code
UI becomes slow to respond when many XAML are open, especially on multiple monitors
    Debug mode could be improved
Clunky with not much space - too many "snapped" windows (it's ideal to have a large resolution monitor and/or multiple monitors)
Needs some sort of "Settings" window/menu - give ability to add hotkeys, change the UI appearance/text, etc..
    It's VB

Has enabled me to directly offer robotic process automation services to clients.

    Pros

Process map graphical interface encourages logical approach. Learn the functionality by recording macros and then pulling the routines apart to become more sophisticated. Use of variables which carry through between process steps makes it very flexible. The user forum is very helpful. Training materials and videos are clear and help new users learn quickly.

    Cons

Setting up high volumes of variables can be time consuming. However, a new method has been recommended by the user forum.
