The ease of use to prep, blend, transform, wrangle, etc is awesome. The learning curve is not that challenging.

This software is great for visual learners/analysts. It breaks down the ETL process visually, allowing users to understand what processes are at play quickly and easily.

It has helped my team to create data models faster and easier. I have not used the analysis and ML capabilities that it offers, but for my use case, I find it very helpful.

Very user friendly and feature rich for data shaping and manipulation. It is the best ETL tool for non technical users to be able to build very complex data manipulation and blending workflows.

Very useful to automate manual workflows with repetitive tasks. Python Integration helps to ease out the process.

The most i like is the Easy drag and drop function that the application has.

The ease of usage and the UX where the computation progress is shown to us live and helps in completing work sooner.

Costly license limits the use. Requires training for getting used to it.

Nothing much I dislike, the only thing I disliked is that we have to use visual tool to view data every time, that slows the running time of the workflow.

Alteryx has a fantastic interface, using function blocks that you can drag and drop to create a workflow. This makes it simple to use and provides the ability to create complex workflows.

Between the great customer service, easy UI, online tutorials and sample files, it is a very easy product to use.

I am working as a full-time SAS developer in my current organization. SAS is easy to use and good for data wrangling purposes.

Only one factor which makes negative about this product is the price, which is really very high. For which Tableau and R can work together for giving the same results.

For me, SAS Visual Analytics works best when dealing with big data and need flexibility in analyzing it.

If you are using SQL you miss Moss of the raw power. SAS procs arenot the most I tuitive.

As compared to R and python its use is limited. I can do much more accurate analysis with R. Also there is cost factor too.

However, it is just functional. Any customization on plots are difficult and requires you to understand intricacies of SAS Graph package.

I like using SAS for its simplicity and the multitude of possibilities it gives when analyzing data and extracting statistics.

It's so much faster than the legacy of Cobol and mainframe based packages. Love the advanced features and the power.

We love the software, however our experience with the sales team and return on our price point has been very negative.

I have a great experience with this tool as this is very easy to use and EDA(Exploratory Data Analysis) through charts are very much effective and attractive.

The logs are misleading. There are  always errors/warnings in the logs which SAS suggests safe to ignore.

Installation is messy but that is only for single time.

Nothing yet, but I will certainly be vocal, if I have a bad experience.

One can make stunning dashboards using it without much expertise. It is equally good for novice and pro.
